Abstract

A component 1 (e.g. a gas burner nozzle) to be installed with a conventional tool 7 is provided with a recess 4 which receives a resilient member 5. When the tool 7 is engaged with the component 1 the resilient member 5 is compressed and provides a frictional force, by way of which the component 1 is retained in engagement with the tool 7 even when being located in position in a vertical direction with the tool 7 above the component 1. Such an arrangement will facilitate the location of the component in positions which are not readily accessible.
