LOS IONES METALICOS RADIACTIVOS ASI DISUELTOS EN EL LIQUIDO, QUE SON PRECIPITABLES CON HIDROXIDO, SE HACEN PRECIPITAR DESPUES POR ADICION DE UN HIDROXIDO (10) HASTA UN PH IGUAL A 9 COMO MINIMO Y LOS COMPUESTOS METALICOS ASI PRECIPITADOS SE SEPARAN POR LO MENOS DE LA MAYOR PARTE DEL LIQUIDO. DESPUES SE SEPARAN LOS IONES DE CESIO Y ESTRONCIO RADIACTIVO DE ESTE LIQUIDO. EL LIQUIDO (24) SEPARADO DE LOS COMPUESTOS METALICOS PRECIPITADOS Y LIBERADOS DE LOS IONES DE CESIO Y ESTRONCIO SE LLEVA A UN RECEPTACULO CON LAS RESTANTES SUSTANCIAS TODAVIA DISUELTAS EN EL, Y LOS COMPUESTOS METALICOS PRECIPITADOS (11K, 11S) SON SOLIDIFICADOS EN UNA VASIJA DE DEPOSICION (22).
