Abstract

New polypeptides and glycoproteins possessing human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (CSF) activity are obtained by culture of a cell line secreting the factor into the culture medium (such as human cancer cell line CHU-2/CNCM-I-483), or of a transformant microorganism containing a recombinant vector incorporating a gene coding for the CSF. The transformant organism, recombinant vector and gene sequence are all claimed as new.
