Abstract
Un método para la oxidación de compuestos orgánicos mediante ácido nítrico, y dispositivo apropiado para el proceso, caracterizado porque la oxidación puede llevarse a cabo de manera continua en un reactor vertical provisto de tomas en su parte inferior y a lo largo de todo el aparato para los productos que toman parte en la reacción o van destinados a actuar como medios de agitación o dilución, pudiendo dicho reactor por su parte superior estar en contacto con un recipiente cerrado provisto de dispositivos para regulación de la presión, corriendo la agitación necesaria para la reacción a cargo de los gases desprendidos en la reacción o insuflados en el reactor.
