Abstract

Un dispositivo ventilador centrífugo que comprende, una cubierta, una rueda de ventilador soportada a rotación dentro de dicha cubierta y que tiene una placa lateral con una abertura en ella que forma una entrada axial para la rueda de ventilador, teniendo dicha cubierta una parte de pared que forma un cono de entrada que se extiende hacia dicha entrada a la rueda de ventilador, sustancialmente en alineación axial con ella y dicho cono de entrada, en dirección hacia la entrada a la rueda de ventilador, converge primeramente de modo que en un punto delante de dicha entrada a la rueda de ventilador tiene un diámetro menor que el diámetro de la entrada a la rueda de ventilador, y luego se ensancha hacia fuera para terminar junto al borde de dicha placa lateral que define dicha abertura, y una placa de cierre que se extienden en torno al cono de entrada en o cerca de dicho punto, y que se extiende radialmente más allá de dicha abertura y en relación de superposición con dicha placa lateral.
