Envase para el tratamiento de un producto orgánico, preferiblemente comestible, por el que es conducida la corriente eléctrica directamente a través del producto, mientras dicho producto está en el envase, por medio de al menos dos electrodos a través de un electrolito que rodea al producto, de modo que dicho producto es calentado hasta una temperatura deseada, caracterizado porque el envase está provisto de un electrodo al descubierto en el interior de dicho envase, estando conectado dicho electrodo, por medio de una, conexión de corriente en dicho envase, con una superficie de contacto en el exterior de dicho envase, estando conectado dicho electrodo, por medio de una conexión de corriente en dicho envase, con una superficie de contacto en el exterior de dicho envase para conexión con una fuente de alimentación de corriente exterior.
