Abstract

Conectador de collar para tubos, que comprende un cuerpo tubular de sujeción y un elemento de empalme roscado dentro del mismo, cuyo elemento de empalme impulsa a un anillo-abrazadera contra el aludido cuerpo tubular y contra el tubo aprisionado por dicho conectador de collar, que se caracteriza por el hecho de que la extremidad del tubo abrazado se ajusta y adapta dentro de una cámara cilíndrica formada en el cuerpo tubular y que posee un diámetro mayor que el diámetro exterior nominal del tubo, presentando la superficie externa del anillo-abrazadera una inclinación ligeramente cónica antes del ajuste, siendo el diámetro exterior del extremo afilado del anillo-abrazadera menor que el diámetro de la citada cámara, de modo que en la fase de compresión, el material del anillo-abrazadera es comprimido dentro de la garganta anular situada entre la extremidad del tubo y la pared de aquella cámara cilíndrica a todo lo largo de la misma o en parte de su longitud.
