Claims

1. Stick profile for awning of the type used in sliding awning structures (2), consisting of an extruded aluminum profile (1) with two ends characterized in that it comprises a quadrangular section with, at least:

- two symmetrical lateral grooves (1.1) in a rounded C shape, for inserting the edges of the respective awning segments (3);

- a central upper channel (1.2) in the shape of a U and whose opening has two facing tabs (1.3); and

- an internal central channel (1.4) located below the upper central channel (1.2), to receive a screw.

2. Profile, according to claim 1, characterized in that the section of the profile (1) has an internal reinforcement (1.5) that joins the two lateral grooves (1.1) together, defining a separation partition between an upper part and a lower part of the profile.

3. Profile, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the quadrangular configuration of the profile section (1) is closed at the bottom, determining a cavity between the internal reinforcement (1.5) and the lower closure of the profile section.

4. Profile, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the quadrangular configuration of the profile section (1) has a lower central opening (1.6) determining a housing between the internal reinforcement (1.5) and said lower central opening (1.6) accessible from said lower central opening (1.6).

5. Profile, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises an internal cover (4) as a sealing gasket at at least one of its ends, said cover (4) having a shape complementary to that of the profile (1) for its introduction and coupling therein.

6. Profile, according to claim 5, characterized in that the internal cover (4) has a step (4.1) around its entire contour such that it defines an inner part (4.2) of smaller dimension that fits inside the profile (1) and an outer part (4.3) of larger dimension that corresponds to the edge of the profile (1).

Profile, according to any of claims 5 or 6, characterized in that the inner part (4.2) of the partition of the internal cover (4) has two openings (4.4) in the upper part thereof that fit with the lateral grooves (1.1) of the profile (1), which are covered under the upper part of the partition of the internal cover (4).

8. Profile, according to any of claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the internal cover (4) has a hole for the introduction of a screw (8) that is fixed to the internal central channel (1.4).

9. Profile, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises at least one external cover (5) as a decorative cover on at least one of its ends that overlaps the perimeter of the profile.

10. Profile, according to claim 9, characterized in that the external cover (5) has a perimeter partition (5.1) that fits the end of the profile (1) and encapsulates the end of said profile (1), having been provided in said partition (5.1) two lateral recesses (5.2), coinciding with the position of the lateral grooves (1.1) of the profile (1).

11. Profile, according to claim 7, characterized in that the external cover (5) comprises a male projection (5.5) provided with a through hole (5.6) that is inserted below the tabs (1.3) of the central upper channel (1.2) of the profile (1) for fixing it by means of a screw (9).

12. Profile, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the external cover (5) overlaps the internal cover (4) covering the latter.

13. Profile, according to claim 12, characterized in that the external cover (5) is incorporated on the internal cover (4) so that between both covers (4, 5) there is a small separation for drainage of the water that comes from the central upper channel (1.2) of the profile (1), said external cover (5) presenting a lower slot (5.3) to allow the water to escape.

14. Profile, according to claim 12 or 13, characterized in that the external cover (5) has two elongated projections or lugs (5.4) that fit into two recesses (4.5) of the internal cover (4).
