Abstract

1. Foco sumergible, que comprende un cuerpo con un frontal transparente y que presenta LEDS como elementos luminosos, caracterizado porque el cuerpo y el frontal transparente son de material plástico y el circuito impreso que comprende los LEDS esta yuxtapuesto a una placa metálica disipadora del calor producido por éstos y que es refrigerada por el agua que penetra en el cuerpo del foco a través de aberturas laterales previstas en el mismo.

Foco sumergible.
Campo de la invención
Este foco está destinado principalmente para la iluminación de piscinas sumergido en el agua, pero también puede ser utilizado para fuentes ornamentales e incluso como proyector luminoso fuera del agua.
Antecedentes de la invención
Son ya conocidos distintos tipos de focos sumergibles utilizándose desde hace tiempo lámparas parabólicas conocidas por "par 56" y formadas por un cuerpo y una lente ambos de cristal, comprendiendo como elemento luminoso una bombilla de filamento incandescente, presentado el cuerpo una capa interior metálica como reflector. Últimamente se han utilizado, en esta clase de focos, LEDS en lugar de la bombilla, los cuales pueden ser de distintos colores, por ejemplo rojo, azul y verde, para obtener diferentes combinaciones en la iluminación, siendo el cuerpo metálico y la lente de cristal.
Sumario de la invención
El objeto de la invención es un foco sumergible del tipo que comprende como elementos luminosos LEDS que pueden ser todos blancos o de distintos colores. Este nuevo foco luminoso representa una notable mejora en la fabricación de esta clase de focos sumergibles siendo característico la obtención del cuerpo y del cristal según sendas piezas moldeadas en material plástico, lo cual simplifica apreciablemente su fabricación resultando a un coste más reducido y formando un conjunto indeformable y sólido.
También es característico el modo de obtener la refrigeración del calor producido por los LEDS. Para ello el circuito impreso que comprende los LEDS se dispone yuxtapuesto a una placa metálica disipadora de dicho calor, la cual es refrigerada por el agua que penetra en el cuerpo del foco para lo que presenta éste unas aberturas laterales.
Las conexiones eléctricas del foco se disponen en una columna hueca prevista en el centro del cuerpo y con boca exterior quedando aislados del agua que invade dicho cuerpo.
La placa disipadora se fija a la boca del cuerpo, de constitución cóncava, y sobre la columna central con intermedio de juntas que determinan la estanqueidad de la cámara refrigerante formada en el cuerpo.
Estas y otras características se desprenderán mejor de la descripción detallada que sigue, para facilitar la cual se acompaña de una lámina de dibujos en la que se ha representado un caso práctico de realización que se cita solamente a título de ejemplo no limitativo del alcance de la presente invención.

Descripción detallada
De acuerdo con los dibujos este foco sumergible comprende un cuerpo (1) y un frontal transparente (2) (lente) de material plástico estando ambas piezas soldadas entre si formando un acoplamiento estanco.
El cuerpo (1) es cóncavo y en su boca se fija mediante tornillos (3) una placa metálica (4) inoxidable encargada de disipar el calor de los LEDS (5) conectados al circuito impreso (6) yuxtapuesto y fijado sobre la indicada placa mediante las tuercas (7).
La placa disipadora (4) es refrigerada por el agua que penetrará en el interior del cuerpo (1) por aberturas (8) previstas lateralmente en su pared cóncava.
En el centro del cuerpo (1) existe una columna interior (9) que forma un hueco (10) con boca exterior (11) donde se acoplará sellado un tapón (12) que comprende los casquillos (13) y (14) para la conexión eléctrica del foco.
La placa disipadora (4) se fija en la boca periférica del cuerpo (1) y sobre la columna central (9) con intermedio de sendas juntas tóricas (15) y (16) determinando estanqueidad con la cámara (17) formada en el cuerpo (1) en la que penetra el agua.
Este foco sumergible, presenta el formato de las lámparas parabólicas "par 56" a las que pueden sustituir para conseguir los efectos multicolor indicados reduciendo notablemente el consumo eléctrico y con una mayor duración. Este foco puede formar parte de un sistema de iluminación accionado por un mando a distancia por radio.
La invención, dentro de su esencialidad, puede ser llevada a la práctica en otras formas de realización que difieran solo en detalle de la indicada únicamente a título de ejemplo, a las cuales alcanzará igualmente la protección que se recaba. Podrá, pues, fabricarse este foco sumergible en cualquier forma y tamaño, con los medios y materiales más adecuados y con los accesorios más convenientes, pudiendo los elementos componentes ser sustituidos por otros técnicamente equivalentes, por quedar todo ello comprendido dentro del espíritu de las reivindicaciones.

Claims (3)

1. Foco sumergible, que comprende un cuerpo con un frontal transparente y que presenta LEDS como elementos luminosos, caracterizado porque el cuerpo y el frontal transparente son de material plástico y el circuito impreso que comprende los LEDS esta yuxtapuesto a una placa metálica disipadora del calor producido por éstos y que es refrigerada por el agua que penetra en el cuerpo del foco a través de aberturas laterales previstas en el mismo.
2. Foco sumergible según reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el cuerpo es cóncavo y en su boca comprende la fijación de la placa disipadora, presentando dicho cuerpo en su centro una columna interior hueca y con boca exterior donde se acoplarán las conexiones eléctricas del foco.
3. Foco sumergible según reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizado porque la placa disipadora se fija en la boca del cuerpo y sobre su columna central con intermedio de sendas juntas.
