Perfil de cierre para puertas metálicas de dos hojas; siendo las hojas (2, 2'') de la puerta de las obtenidas por plegado de una chapa metálica y que definen una cavidad interior hueca o rellenada con materiales aislantes, ignífugas o de cualquier otro tipo; presentando las dos hojas (2, 2'') en los extremos enfrentados una porción sobresaliente (22) determinada por el engarzado de las chapas que forman la superior exterior de la hoja y un hueco delimitado por la porción sobresaliente mencionada (22) y el extremo de la hoja (2, 2'') correspondiente; caracterizado porque el perfil de cierre (1) presenta una configuración tubular, de sección sensiblemente rectangular, destinada a fijarse sobre el extremo libre de una de las hojas (2); presentando en su cara anterior dos configuraciones laterales sobresalientes (11), de sección en "U", que actúan de tope de las caras anteriores de las hojas (2, 2'') en su posición de cierre y, en su cara posterior: una configuración frontal sobresaliente (12),de sección en "U", destinada a alojarse en el hueco delimitado por la porción sobresaliente (22) y por el extremo de la propia hoja (2), y dos escalonamientos (13, 14) que actúan respectivamente de tope de la porción sobresaliente (22) de dicha hoja (2) y de la porción sobresaliente (22) de la otra hoja (2'').
