Abstract

1. Protector para la parte inferior de un puntal, que estando previsto para ser montado sobre el tramo inferior o base del tubo exterior de un puntal telescópico de los utilizados en encofrados o en otras aplicaciones, se caracteriza porque está constituido por un cuerpo tubular de naturaleza elástica, abierto por ambas bases y dotado de una abertura lateral de notable amplitud, afectando toda su longitud, para permitir por deformación elástica su acoplamiento a la base del puntal, mediante abrazado del tramo inferior correspondiente al tubo exterior de dicho puntal; con la particularidad de que el referido cuerpo tubular del protector está constituido por dos capas concéntricas, siendo la interior totalmente elástica y la exterior de mayor rigidez.
