Abstract

1. Protector para la base de un puntal, que estando previsto para ser montado sobre el tramo inferior o base del tubo exterior de un puntal telescópico de los utilizados en encofrados o en otras aplicaciones, se caracteriza porque está constituido por un cuerpo tubular de naturaleza elástica, abierto por ambas bases y lateralmente en correspondencia con una de sus generatrices, para permitir mediante abertura lateral o deformación elástica del mismo su acoplamiento a la base del puntal, mediante abrazado del tramo inferior correspondiente al tubo exterior del propio puntal; habiéndose previsto medios de cierre laterales para mantener sujeto el protector al puntal.
