Batea para criar marisco perfeccionada, caracterizada porque está constituida por un entramado de madera que se sustenta sobre unos tanques los cuales efectúan la flotación; los tanques son inundables por la acción de unas bombas, regulando la altura de la batea sobre el nivel del agua, y dichos tanques están divididos en compartimentos interiores por medio de tabiques verticales, los cuales tienen una abertura inferior que permite el paso del agua entre compartimentos durante las operaciones de llenado o vaciado; el llenado o vaciado de los distintos tanques se realiza de forma secuencias mediante la acción de unas válvulas al efecto montadas en los conductos de circulación del agua, con el fin de evitar desequilibraos en la batea durante las operaciones.
