Abstract
1. Unidad de calentamiento por radicación, particularmente utilizada en asociación con planos de cocción hechos con vitrocerámica, que comprende: - un campo de calentamiento (1) situado por encima de una capa de material aislante (2) térmica y eléctricamente y dispuesto de modo sustancialmente plano, - una pared sustancialmente vertical (3), compuesta de material térmicamente aislante, dispuesta de manera que delimita lateralmente y al menos parcialmente la superficie superior (4) de dicho campo de calentamiento, y que se extiende hacia arriba desde dicha superficie superior del mencionado campo, - una pluralidad de segmentos de hilos metálicos (5) eléctricamente revestidos, arrollados en hélice y dispuestos dentro de dicho campo de calentamiento, por debajo del nivel definido por el borde superior de dicha pared sustancialmente vertical, caracterizada porque los citados segmentos en hélice están separados y elevados por unos elementos de soporte (6) en dicho campo de calentamiento, siendo aptos para mantener en posición prefijada los citados segmentos en hélice respectivos, ajustando con cada uno de ellos.
