Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate a visually obstructing part by reducing the width espe cially of the coupling part of a wiper arm and the frame of a wiper blade. CONSTITUTION: A frame part is pivotally attached to the free end part 14 of the U-shaped cross section of a wiper arm, two sidewalls 32, 34 at an interval from each other are plunged between the U-shaped leg parts 26, 28 of the wiper arm, a plastic-member wall of a trough-shaped cross section is arranged between the U-shaped leg parts and a frame part side wall extended in parallel with the leg parts. In addition, the engaging means of the outer surfaces of plastic- member trough walls 38, 40 is engaged with the corresponding engaging means of the U-shaped leg parts of the wiper arm, a bearing member for a pivotally attaching pin 52 is extended between the trough walls from a plastic-member trough bottom 42, the pivotally attaching pin has its end part held within the sidewall of the frame part.
