Abstract

The present invention relates to a central support for flat articles that imparts greater stability during the handling and/or transport of said articles. The structural arrangement of said support enables rapid fitting onto a pallet, together with the ideal positioning of the articles, in order to facilitate transport, handling and storage during the logistics process, since it directs the mass of the load towards the center of the pallet or platform, preventing the articles from tipping and falling over or sliding, thus promoting greater stability.

Description

    FIELD OF APPLICATION
  • This innovation deals with a central support for flat articles that provides greater stability during the movement and/or transport of the articles. The constructive arrangement of this support provides a quick fit on a pallet, as well as providing the ideal positioning of the articles, since it directs the mass of the load to the center of the pallet or platform, preventing them from cantilevering and falling and/or sliding, promoting greater balance and safety during transport.
  • STATE OF THE ART
  • Storage with pallets is one of the safest and most practical ways to store materials, since they are structures that make it possible to stock most materials, from the lightest to the heaviest. Thus, pallets act as a facilitator in the movement of inventory and enable agility in the processes of entry and exit of products, as they allow their handling to be carried out by vehicles built especially for this purpose, the well-known forklifts.
  • However, auxiliary supports for the transport of flat articles are commonly employed in order to avoid physical damage to the materials to be transported.
  • An example of state-of-the-art support is disclosed by the WO2016023649A1 document entitled "Transport rack and/or storage rack and arrangement of a transport rack and/or storage rack on a floor plate" filed on 15 August 2014 , which deals with a transport and storage support used in the transport of flat plates, particularly windows or doors, equipped with at least two trapezoidal elements that are connected to each other by a structural crossbar that fits at the upper end of each triangular element and also a support strip so that the triangular elements remain perpendicular to the pallet.
  • Another example of support used on pallets for transporting flat articles is disclosed by document DE202010012666U1, entitled "Transport and storage rack for fastening on pallet", filed on 16 September 2010 . This document refers to a transport and storage structure for fastening onto a pallet for the transport or storage of flat articles, with at least two first frame articles.
  • However, it is perceived that the supports found in the state of the art have a high number of components, which disadvantageously makes the product expensive and adds complexity at the time of integration of the support device to the pallet. In addition, the supports found require a means of fastening onto the pallet that uses other components, which increases the assembly time, as well as requires greater qualification from the operator.
  • Thus, it is an objective of this innovation to provide a central support equipped with an upper portion, a lower portion and an axis, which advantageously has a constructive arrangement that allows quick coupling over a pallet gap, in addition to ensuring stability to said upper part that supports the flat articles to be stored and transported, reducing the risk of breakage, tipping, and slipping.
  • Another objective of this innovation is to provide a support equipped with a main part equipped with holes that allow the passage of means of tying, such as ropes, straps, among other objects that allow the flat articles to be tied and secured together with the main part.
  • Schematic drawings of a particular embodiment of innovation will be presented below, whose dimensions and proportions are not necessarily the real ones, since the drawings only have the purpose of didactically presenting its various aspects, whose scope of protection is determined only by the scope of the accompanying claims.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
  • The object of this innovation will be better understood in the light of the detailed description that follows in its preferred, but not limiting, embodiment, which has as illustration the accompanying schematic drawings.
    • Figure 1 illustrates a perspective view of a support (1) equipped with a pallet (3) comprising a set of platforms (30) with at least one gap (31), and a main part (2) fitted into the central portion (figure 1a) and ends (figure 1b) of said pallet (3).
    • Figure 2 illustrates a frontal view of the main part (2) with an upper portion (20), an axis (21) and an inferior portion (22).
    • Figure 3 shows a frontal view of the main part (2) showing a top (221) and a base (220) of the lower portion (22).
    • Figure 4 illustrates a frontal view of the main part (2) showing the holes (202) for the passage of tying elements.
    • Figure 5 illustrates a frontal view of the main part (2) showing the grooves (203) of structural reinforcement.
    • Figure 6 illustrates a frontal view of the main part (2) configured in two portions, one upper (2a) and one lower (2b), in which the upper portion (2a) is equipped with a male socket (2a') and the lower one (2b) is equipped with a female socket (2b').
    DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • This utility model patent discloses a constructive arrangement applied to supports for flat articles, in which the flat articles are positioned on pallets, in order to facilitate transport, movement and storage during the logistics process. In addition, the constructive layout of this innovation provides a quick fit of said support onto the pallet.
  • According to figure 1, this innovation deals with a support (1) of flat articles that comprises a main part (2) and a pallet (3), which is equipped with a set of platforms (30) with at least one gap (31), which is preferably arranged in the central portion of the pallet (3) in order to prevent the flat articles that are being transported from tipping over.
  • As observed in figures 2 and 3, the main part (2) comprises an upper portion (20) with a sub-base (200) that extends from one axis (21) and from at least two laterals (201), so as to configure a substantially triangular body with an enlarged sub-base (200), on which the flat articles (not illustrated) are supported. In this way, by slanting the sides (201), an inclination is promoted, allowing the flat articles to be positioned at an ideal angle, making the articles support each other, preventing them from cantilevering and falling.
  • In addition, the main part (2) comprises a lower portion (22) comprising a base (220) with a top (221) and extending from the axis (21), which comprises a height equivalent to the height of the platforms (30), so that there are no voids between the subfloor (200) between the platforms (30) and the top (221), which gives greater stability to the support (1).
  • As shown in figure 3, the top (221) of the base (220) is configured by a flat face, while the body of the lower portion (22) may present, but not be limited to, a parabolic, rectangular, oblong or trapezoidal geometry.
  • Thus, the sub-base (200), the top (221) and the axis (21), together, are responsible for stabilizing and locking said main part (2) next to the pallet (3), and the sub-base (200) is responsible for supporting the platforms (30), while the top (221) is for stabilizing and locking.
  • The innovation differential lies in the way the main part (2) is fastened onto the pallet (3). As illustrated in the accompanying drawings, the quick fitting of the main part (2) to the pallet (3) is possible due to the constructive arrangement of the sub-base (200) and the base (220), which are configured by a length greater than the gap spacing (31) of the pallet (3), while the base (220) and the shaft (21) are configured in a thickness smaller than the span spacing (31) of the pallet (3).
  • Thus, advantageously, the constructive arrangement of the main part (2) of the present invention allows it to be fastened to the pallet (3) only by longitudinal fitting and transverse securing, without the use of additional complex articles and/or systems.
  • As illustrated by figure 4, in order to improve the stability of the flat articles on the support (1), the main part (2) also includes holes (202), which allow the passage of tying elements, such as rope, ribbon, chain, strap, among other objects that allow the tying. In this way, the flat articles are surrounded by the tying elements, preventing the flat articles from tipping over or sliding on the support (1).
  • Also, as illustrated by figure 5, the main part (2) comprises grooves (203), which are responsible for structural reinforcement. These grooves (203), preferably, have a geometric shape, such as rectangles, triangles, squares and/or rhombuses, with reticulated and/or diagonal patterns, in order to distribute the stresses more evenly, increasing the strength and rigidity of the part.
  • In addition, these grooves (203) contribute to reducing the weight of the part, making it more efficient and with lower construction costs, since a smaller amount of material is used.
  • In one embodiment of the innovation, illustrated in figure 6, the main part (2) is manufactured in two portions, one upper (2a) and one lower (2b), so that the upper portion (2a) is equipped with a male socket (2a') and the lower one (2b) is equipped with a female socket (2b'), or vice versa.
  • The fittings (2a1 and 2b') reduce the size of the part when necessary, keeping assembly and use streamlined. In addition, these fittings (2a1 and 2b') configure elements that allow the part to easily connect to other articles, eliminating the need for additional fasteners, such as screws or welds. This not only simplifies the assembly process but also saves space, making it particularly useful in applications where size and practicality are critical.
  • The material to be used for the manufacture of the components that make up the main part (2) may be, but not limited to, wood, plastic, steel, iron or the like.
  • A person skilled in the art will readily perceive, from the description and the drawings represented, several ways to carry out the innovation without straying from the scope of the accompanying claims.
