As a result, the embodiments of the present disclosure are able to increase the motivation of the user to participate in the interaction.
  • Various example implementations of this scheme are described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
  • Example Environment
  • Reference is first made to FIG. 1, which schematically illustrates a schematic diagram of an example environment 100 in which example implementations according to the present disclosure may be implemented. As shown in FIG. 1, the example environment 100 may include an electronic device 110.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, the electronic device 110 may be, for example, an intelligent terminal (for example, a smart phone), which may provide a graphical interface 120 as shown in FIG. 1. The interface 120 may be, for example, an interface for interacting with competitive activities.
  • In some embodiments, such interface 120 may be provided by a local application (e.g., a video application, a music application, a news application, etc. ) in the electronic device 110. Alternatively, such an interface 120 may also be, for example, a web interface presented by the electronic device 110 through a browser.
  • As will be described in detail below, such interface 120 may be configured to support user interaction with competitive activities. Such competitive activity may be any offline or online competitive activity, such as a sporting activity, a gaming activity, a talent competition, or the like.
  • In some embodiments, such interaction may include a prediction regarding winners of competitive activities. For example, the user may predict a winner of the competitive activity through the electronic device 110. Taking a sporting activity as an example, such participants may include, for example, a participating team, participating organization, or participant of the sporting activity.
  • It should be understood that although the electronic device 110 in FIG. 1 is shown as a smart phone, it may also be any other suitable device, including but not limited to: a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a desktop computer, a personal digital assistant, a smart wearable device, a vehicle-mounted device, or the like.
  • Various example implementations of interacting with competitive activities are described in detail below. It should be understood that the process of user interaction is described below with a sporting activity as an example only for convenience of description.
  • Prediction about an activity winner
  • In some embodiments, the user is able to participate in the prediction of the activity winner of the competitive activity. Such an activity winner may represent a final winner of the competitive activity. For example, a champion of a sporting activity.
  • Reference is first made to FIG. 2, which schematically illustrates an example interface 200 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The interface 200 may be provided, for example, by the electronic device 110.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, the interface 200 may support user interaction about competitive activities (e.g., 'XX activity'). To facilitate user interaction, the electronic device 110 may present a plurality of interface elements corresponding to a plurality of participants (e.g., a participant 210) of the competitive activity in the interface 200.
  • In some embodiments, such an interface element may, for example, indicate a text identification of the participant 210, such as a name of a participating organization/participant/parameter team. Alternatively or in addition, such an interface element may also indicate, for example, an image identification of the participant 210, such as a pattern flag of a participating team, a photograph of the participant, and the like.
  • In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may receive a predetermined operation on an interface element corresponding to the particular participant 210, and correspondingly present description information 220 of the particular participant 210. For example, such a predetermined operation may include, but is not limited to: operations such as clicking, double-clicking, sliding, hovering and the like on the interface element.
  • Taking FIG. 2 as an example, after the user clicks on the interface element corresponding to the participant 210, the electronic device 110 may present the description information 220 corresponding to the participant 210. Such description information, for example, helps the user better understand the participant 210 and, in turn, may assist the user in deciding as to whether to predict the participant 210 as an activity winner.
  • In some embodiments, such description information 220 may characterize a competitiveness of the participant 210 in the competitive activity. As shown in FIG. 2, the descriptive information 220 may include the participation of the participant 210 in historical competitive activity (e.g., historical number of championships won); a competitiveness of the players of the participant 210; a current ranking of the participant 210; and the like. It should be understood that such specific descriptive information is only example and may also include other types of information from other users describing the competitiveness of the participant 210.
  • In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may receive a user selection of a particular interface element of the plurality of interface elements and may further click on a confirmation control 230, for example. Thus, the electronic device 110 may determine a first prediction that a particular participant (e.g., the participant 210) to which that particular interface element corresponds will be the activity winner by that user.
  • Prediction regarding stage winner
  • In some embodiments, the user may also perform a prediction of a stage winner of the at least one stage of the competitive activity by the electronic device 110. Taking a sports event as an example, such a stage may include, for example, a group match stage, a knockout match stage, etc. of the sports event. Such a stage winner may include, for example, a group match winner team, a knockout stage winner team, and the like.
  • In some embodiments, the user may perform a prediction of the stage winner with a completion for the activity winner for the competitive activity. Alternatively, the user may, for example, click on a switching control 240 as shown in FIG. 2 to perform a prediction of the stage winner without completing a prediction of the activity winner.
  • The prediction process for the stage winner will be described below with reference to FIGS. 3A to 3C. FIG. 3A illustrates an example interface according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 3A, interface 300A may, for example, obtain a prediction of the user regarding a stage winner of at least one stage (e.g., a group match) on the competitive activity, e.g., a prediction about the outgoing team for each group. The interface 300A may also be referred to as a s group match winner prediction interface, for example.
  • As shown in FIG. 3A, the interface 300A may, for example, present information 310 (e.g., 'Team D') of the activity winner predicted by the user in the interface 200. It should be understood that if the user selects a prediction directly into a stage winner, the information herein may be null, for example.
  • In some embodiments, the interface 300A may include a selection control (e.g., control 320-1 and control 320-2) corresponding to respective groups of competitive activities. The user may select a stage winner in the 'group A' through the control 320-1, e.g., a team outgoing team.
  • In some embodiments, if the user has specified a predicted upper right side of the activity via the interface 200, the electronic device 110 may validate the predicted stage winner based on the control. Taking FIG. 3A as an example, if the 'Team D' has been determined by the user as an activity winner, then in the control 320-2, the 'Team D' may also be automatically determined as a stage winner of 'Group B'. In addition, in this case, the user cannot cancel the 'Team D' as the stage winner 'Group B'.
  • In some embodiments, after completing the prediction of the stage winner of the first stage (e.g., a group match), the electronic device 110 may present an interface 300B as shown in FIG. 3B. In some embodiments, the user directly skips a prediction of the first stage, for example, by selecting a stage of the competitive activity.
  • As shown in FIG. 3B, in the interface 300B, the electronic device 110 may obtain a prediction of the user regarding a stage winner (e.g., an elimination match winner) of a second stage of the competitive activity (e.g., 'XX activity'). The interface 300B may also be referred to as an elimination match winner prediction interface, for example.
  • In some embodiments, information of a stage winner for the first stage predicted in the interface 300A may be presented in the interface 300B. Further, the interface 300B may also include an input control 340 for receiving a stage winner for a second stage (e.g., an elimination stage).
  • In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may present prediction information generated based on a first prediction related to an activity winner of the competitive activity. For example, the electronic device 110 may populate at least a part of the stage winners of the input control based on the activity winners predicted by the user in interface 200. For example, a participant that is predicted to be an activity winner (e.g., 'Team D') may be populated with a corresponding input control to indicate that it will also become the at least one stage winner.
  • Taking a single-elimination match as an example, if the 'Team D' is predicted by the user to be a champion, the user may automatically determine the 'Team D' to be the stage winner of a plurality of elimination matches associated with the 'Team D'. As a result, data interoperability between different interaction scenarios can be implemented, thereby reducing the cost of interaction for the user.
  • In some embodiments, the user may also initiate a request to obtain a recommendation regarding a stage winner that is unindicated in the first interface. For example, the electronic device 110 may receive a click on a button 350 by the user to request an automatic recommendation of a stage winner.
  • For example, the electronic device 110 may obtain recommendation information based on a click of the button 350, and such recommendation information may indicate that a set of participants are predicted as a stage winner that is unindicated in the in the interface 300B. Such recommendation information may be generated, for example, by the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device. The particular generation process of the recommendation information will be described in detail below.
  • Further, the electronic device 110 may present an interface 300C based on the obtained recommendation information. In the interface 300C, the electronic device 110 may present prediction information 360 generated based on the recommendation information. Such prediction information 360 may indicate a prediction of stage winners of the competitive activity at each stage.
  • In some embodiments, the user may, for example, also modify the prediction information 360 to generate a third prediction based on a second prediction indicated by the prediction information 360. For example, a user may modify an automatically recommended finalist team from 'Team H' to 'Team O.'
  • Further, the electronic device 110 may receive a confirmation from the user for the recommended prediction information or modified prediction information. For example, the user may trigger the confirmation of the prediction of the stage winner by clicking on the button 370.
  • FIG. 4A illustrates an example interface 400A according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 4A, upon receiving a prediction of the user for the stage winner, the electronic device 110 may present the interface 400A to indicate a confirmed prediction 420 regarding the stage winner.
  • In some embodiments, the interface 400A may further include a sharing entry 410 for sharing. The user may, for example, trigger a sharing of a first prediction regarding an activity winner of the competitive activity, or trigger a sharing of a second prediction (and/or a modified third prediction) for a stage winner of the competitive activity, by selecting the sharing entry 410.
  • FIG. 4B illustrates an example sharing interface 400B according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 4B, after the user triggers the sharing entry 410, the electronic device 110 may, for example, present the interface 400B to present sharing information 430 regarding a prediction made by the user. Such sharing information 430 may indicate the activity winner and/or stage winner predicted by the user.
  • In some embodiments, the sharing information 430 may be a picture style that may be automatically constructed based on a text identification (e.g., a username) of the current user, an image identification (e.g., an avatar), a made prediction (e.g., a text identification/image identification of a champion team). It should be understood that the sharing information 430 may also be a further suitable multimedia style, for example, a card component, a video, or the like.
  • In some embodiments, the style of the sharing information 430 may be associated with a predicted activity winner of the user. The electronic device 110 may configure one or more sharing styles for each participant. When the user predicts the participant as an activity winner, the system may generate the sharing information 430 based on a predetermined sharing style corresponding to the participant. In some embodiments, the user may also switch the style of the sharing information 430 by a selection control 440. Alternatively, the user may also customize the style of the sharing information 430, for example.
  • In some embodiments, after the user selects a post control 450, the electronic device 110 may provide one or more interfaces for posting the share information 430 to support the sharing of the sharing information 430 to appropriate applications or platforms, such as a social application, instant messaging application, short video platform, and the like.
  • In some embodiments, after a competitive activity ends, the electronic device 110 may further present an interface 500 as shown in FIG. 5 to indicate a prediction result of the user. As shown in FIG. 5, the electronic device 110 may indicate, in the interface 500, first indication information regarding whether the prediction of the plurality of stage winners is correct. For example, the electronic device 110 may display an interface element corresponding to a stage winner with a correct prediction via a first style and display an interface element corresponding to a stage winner with an incorrect prediction via a different second style.
  • Additionally, the electronic device 110 may further indicate, in the interface 500, second indication information indicating whether the prediction of the activity winner is correct.
  • In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may further motivate information in the interface 500, such motivation information may be determined based on predictions regarding the activity winner and/or predictions regarding a plurality of stage winners.
  • For example, in FIG. 5, the electronic device 110 may indicate that the user to obtain an "X motivation" for successfully predicting an activity winner; and a "Y motivation" for successfully predicting a part of a plurality of stage winners.
  • Automatic recommendation regarding a stage winner
  • In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device may, in response to the user request, further perform automatic recommendation regarding the stage winner to generate the recommendation information.
  • Particularly, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device may obtain participant information of a plurality of participants of the competitive activity, thereby determining a popularity of the plurality of participants. Further, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device may generate recommendation information based on a comparison of the popularity.
  • In some embodiments, the participant information may indicate a competitiveness of the participant. For example, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device may determine a ranking of the plurality of participants and determine the popularity of each participant based on the ranking thereof. In some embodiments, the information configured to describe the competitiveness of the participant may further include but is not limited to: an achievement of a historical competitive activity of the participant.
  • Alternatively, or in addition, the participant information may further indicate a number of users that predicted the particular participant as a set of users of the activity winner. For example, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device 110 may determine how many users currently determine a particular participant as the activity winner of the competitive activity and may determine the popularity of each participant based on the number.
  • In some embodiments, the participant information may further indicate whether a particular participant is predicted by the current user as an activity winner. If the particular participant is an activity winner predicted by the current user, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device may set the popularity of the particular participant to a maximum popularity.
  • Further, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device may generate recommendation information regarding the stage winner based on the comparison of the popularity of each participant. In some embodiments, if the current user has predicted at least one stage winner, for example, through the interface 300B, the electronic device 110 and/or the cloud device further needs to perform the popularity comparison based on the information of the participants of the predicted stage winners when determining a further unpredicted stage winner.
  • Based on such a recommendation process, embodiments of the present disclosure may ensure that an activity winner predicted by a user is always determined to be a stage winner and may combine a number of factors to automatically recommend a prediction solution for the user.
