- the invention also relates to a computer program.
- Electrically operated vehicles such as hybrid vehicles
- the capacity of the electrical energy storage for purely electric driving is limited or limited, especially in hybrid vehicles.
- an electric drive mode as standard. This can be maintained until the battery capacity is exhausted and then you can automatically switch to the hybrid vehicle's combustion engine.
- you can drive purely electrically which can have a negative impact on the range, especially in hilly or mountainous regions. This means that purely electric driving can be very restricted.
- electrically powered vehicles such as electric vehicles, as the electrical energy storage can also quickly be severely impaired.
- the internal combustion engine can provide relief.
- a hybrid mode can be activated, but not additional charging of the battery, so that the hybrid mode can only work alone due to the exhausted battery. It may happen that if a user of the hybrid vehicle wants to charge the battery via hybrid mode, this must be activated via manual entry in a menu.

- a graph that has a A plurality of nodes that are connected are provided. Each node can reflect a potential charging station.
- DE 102018 215 722 A1 discloses a method for a vehicle.
- This method includes a received input for a route destination and a remaining range or amount of remaining energy to be maintained at the route destination in a navigation system of the vehicle.
- a driving route to the entered route destination can be determined based on the remaining range to be kept or the amount of remaining energy to be kept.
- a method for route planning in a navigation system of a vehicle is known from DE 102019 109 561 A1.
- a route from a starting point to an end point can be divided into a large number of route sections.
- An individual speed can be assigned to each of these route sections of the large number of route sections.

- One object of the present invention can be seen in adapting route planning for an electrically operated vehicle more individually to the respective user of the vehicle.
- One aspect of the invention relates to a method for route planning of a route of an electrically powered vehicle, wherein the following steps are carried out:
- the proposed method allows more efficient and, in particular, more individualized route planning for an electrically powered vehicle to be carried out.
- the route can be individually adapted to the respective user or driver of the electrically powered vehicle.
- calendar entries of the user of the electrically operated vehicle can also be taken into account. This means that, in addition to the capacities of the electrical energy storage system and, for example, related charging options along the route, a planned route can also take individual and user-specific calendar entries into account when planning.
- the user can transmit the electronic calendar entries themselves to the electronic evaluation unit.
- the electronic evaluation unit is in communication technology connection with the electronic calendar and an automatic and in particular continuous data exchange takes place.
- the appointments and/or corresponding local destinations can be called up as calendar entries.
- route planning can be carried out in advance based on the calendar entries in the electronic calendar.
- the at least one piece of information regarding the electrical energy storage i.e. a vehicle battery or a traction battery of the electrically operated vehicle, can be taken into account when planning the route.
- the electronic calendar can be stored or stored in a mobile device, such as a tablet, smartphone, laptop or other smart device.
- the user's appointments can be stored in this electronic calendar.
- the calendar entries can, for example, contain appointments, times, locations, duration of an appointment, or a local destination or other destinations for a respective appointment. Based on these calendar entries, in particular digital calendar entries, a route can be planned or predicted accordingly.
- the proposed method is used advantageously when the user of the electrically powered vehicle wants to plan a vacation route, for example.
- the user can be, for example, a craftsman, Parcel deliverer, field service worker, delivery person, long-distance bus driver, passenger transport driver or freight transport driver.
- the calendar entries can be, for example, an electronic calendar of a delivery service or a parcel delivery service. This means that routes from parcel delivery companies in particular can be planned better and more efficiently in advance, as the respective dates, which include delivery addresses, for example, can be taken into account.
- the proposed method is also particularly advantageous for field service employees. They can make their electronic appointments available for route planning, so that when using an electrically powered vehicle they can be provided with an efficient and, in particular, more time-saving route for their field service tour.
- the vehicle's route can be adapted to the appointments with battery capacity-optimized use including possible charging stops.
- electrically operated vehicles in particular can be used more easily by the user and these electrically operated vehicles can also be controlled more intelligently, since, for example, a route that is more energy-saving and still on time can be created depending primarily on the electrical energy storage and the calendar entries.
- the proposed method is particularly advantageous for logistics companies. This means that deliveries can be carried out more efficiently with the help of electrically powered vehicles. This is particularly advantageous when delivering goods in “just-in-time”.
- a logistics company can have a large number of electrically powered vehicles as fleet vehicles.
- energy savings in the logistics company's vehicle fleet can be achieved.
- any delay or delay in delivery can be reduced or prevented. This is advantageous, for example, for critical or quick deliveries or for deliveries to construction sites.
- the proposed method can be a computer-implemented method.
- the at least one planned route is transmitted to a navigation system of the electrically operated vehicle and/or to a mobile terminal of the user.
- the planned route can be transmitted to the navigation system of the electrically operated vehicle via communication technology and can be configured or set there accordingly, so that the route can be carried out in preparation and can therefore be carried out.
- the planned route is transmitted or transmitted to the user's mobile device, such as a smartphone. This is advantageous, for example, if the electrically powered vehicle does not have a navigation system or if it is at least temporarily not functional.
- the mobile device can therefore visually and/or acoustically provide the user with the route to travel through the route.
- the planned route can be transmitted to the electrically operated vehicle as well as to the associated driver.
- the planned route can be transmitted to a dispatcher of the logistics company or to a central location of the logistics company.
- the at least one planned route or several planned routes can be offered or output to the user for selection by means of the navigation system and/or the mobile terminal and/or a route terminal of a logistics system. For example, it may happen that several potential routes are possible based on the calendar entries and the information from the electrical energy storage device. For example, the user or a higher-level system can specify in advance that the most energy-efficient and, in particular, time-optimized route is automatically selected. Otherwise, all planned routes can be offered to the user for selection. This means that he can still decide, for example before starting the route, which actual route he wants to take. So to speak, special wishes and/or special knowledge about which the user is aware can be taken into account when selecting the appropriate route.
- the selection of the corresponding route can be done via an electronic input unit of the mobile terminal or the navigation system.
- a touch display of an infotainment system of the vehicle or of the navigation system or of the mobile device can be used for this purpose.
- the planning of the at least one route or the several routes available for selection is carried out automatically by the electronic evaluation unit depending on the wide variety of information provided.
- the respective calendar entries can be taken into account in detail and in particular the respective constellation or relationships of the individual calendar entries to one another can be taken into account.
- the order in which the respective appointments are to be processed or approached or completed can already be specified in the electronic calendar. This is particularly advantageous, for example, in a supply chain for a logistics company. You can specify which appointments must be reached first when driving through the route.
- the dates and/or the local destinations of the calendar entries can be prioritized.
- the urgency or value of the respective calendar entries can be taken into account.
- position information regarding the approach locations can also be taken into account during planning. What is particularly relevant here is environmental information in the area surrounding the destination.
- the electrical energy storage it can be taken into account whether the approach location or the approach route to this destination has an incline or a gradient or whether it is a winding or mountainous road.
- the electronic evaluation unit is provided with route information regarding the at least one planned route and/or traffic information regarding the at least one planned route and/or environmental information regarding the at least one planned route.
- the electronic evaluation unit can assess a potential travel through the at least one planned route depending on at least one of the information provided.
- an assessment result can be provided to the user here.
- the electronic evaluation unit in particular can assess or evaluate whether, for example, based on the capacity of the electrical energy storage and in particular the range of the electrical energy storage, the calendar entries on the basis of which the route is formed can be covered.
- the calendar entries are too extensive to be able to process or travel along a route by the electrically powered vehicle, this can be taken into account in advance by the evaluation unit.
- the user of the electrically operated vehicle can be provided with a corresponding route, which provides at least one charging option, in particular an electrical charging option at a charging station, along the route. This means that the desired calendar entries can be completed or processed with a route even if the capacity of the electrical energy storage is too low, since at least one additional charging option is selected or made available along the route.
- the route information can be an incline and/or speed information regarding the planned route.
- the traffic information can be, for example, a traffic situation and/or a traffic situation along the planned route.
- the environmental information can be, for example, a weather situation such as rain or snow.
- this information has an influence on the adherence to the calendar entries regarding the route.
- this information can have a negative impact on the electrical energy storage system. For example, if there are some construction sites or traffic jams along the route, This minimizes the range of the electrically powered vehicle. Likewise, at very low temperatures, especially in the sub-zero range, the capacity of the electrical energy storage can be negatively influenced.
- This information can be taken into account by the electronic evaluation unit or a computing unit, so that, for example, when planning several routes, they are assessed accordingly and the most suitable route is selected. This means that route planning can be carried out efficiently and, in particular, effectively.
- a current charge state of the electrical energy storage and/or a capacity of the electrical energy storage and/or an energy consumption of the electrical energy storage is provided to the electronic evaluation unit.
- This information can also be taken into account when planning the at least one route.
- This information regarding the electrical energy storage is important because it can be used to decide whether the planned route can be carried out or whether, for example, this route is too extensive. Furthermore, appropriate charging options can be determined by the evaluation unit to remedy this.
- the current state of charge of the electrical energy storage when planning the route and also the respective state of charge before a potential implementation or journey of this route is in particular the maximum capacity that can be made available with the electrical energy storage. This can be used, for example, to determine whether the route can be carried out with one loading quantity or whether intermediate loading options are necessary.
- Another important criterion for planning the route is the average energy consumption of the electrical energy storage device. This can be determined, for example, by previous journeys or movements of the electrical energy storage of the electrically operated vehicle.
- information from other vehicles, in particular other fleet vehicles can be used here in order to be able to take into account comparison data or comparison information for a corresponding route.
- the electronic evaluation unit checks whether there is at least one electrical charging station within a surrounding area of a location of at least one appointment and/or a local destination, this check being taken into account when planning the at least one route becomes. For example, potential charging options along this route can be intelligently predicted in advance by the electronic evaluation unit before a potential route is carried out and made available to the user as backup information. This means that unpredictable situations, such as a traffic jam or a detour, can be responded to and the electrical energy storage can be charged if necessary.
- the electronic evaluation unit can analyze the corresponding appointments and/or destinations and check whether there is at least one electrical charging station, such as an electric charging station, in the respective immediate surroundings or surrounding area of a respective location of the appointment or the destination.
- this information regarding potential charging options at electric charging stations in the area of appointments and/or travel locations can be made available to the user as additional information. These can, for example, be entered in the navigation system or displayed on the user's mobile device.
- the electronic evaluation unit checks whether a, in particular electric, range of the electrically operated vehicle is sufficient and if not, then the electronic evaluation unit determines whether the range is sufficient, in particular the electric range Appointments and / or the local destinations determine at least one charging option at at least one electrical charging station. For example, depending on the calendar entries, it can be determined in advance whether a route can be determined that can be traveled with a “tank quantity”, i.e. an electrical charge quantity of the electrically operated vehicle. If this is not the case and no alternative route can be determined, then at least one potential charging option can be determined at at least one electrical charging station in the area of a location of an appointment or a local destination.
- a local charging location and/or a charging time and/or a charging quantity and/or a charging duration relating to the at least one charging option at which at least one charging station is determined can be informed where he can charge his vehicle and how long he needs to do so in order to be able to charge, for example, a minimum charge quantity into the electrical energy storage device. This can also be communicated to the user in advance before driving through the route. If the user does not agree here, a corresponding replanning or replanning can be carried out in advance.
- the electronic evaluation unit makes a corresponding reservation or booking for the at least one charging option at the at least one charging station or charging column at the charging location and the charging time, so that when the electrically operated vehicle arrives at this charging option, the electric charging station is free or available. This means that driving through the route can be done more efficiently because timed planning could be made in advance. This means there are no unnecessary delays.

- FIG. 1 shows an electrically operated vehicle 1. This can be an electric vehicle, hybrid vehicle or a plug-in vehicle.
- the electrically operated vehicle 1 can be a passenger car for traveling.
- the electrically operated vehicle 1 can be an electrically operated delivery vehicle or transport vehicle or postal vehicle of a logistics company.
- the vehicle 1 in particular has at least one electrical energy storage device 2.
- the electrical energy storage can be, for example, a battery system or a battery arrangement of the vehicle 1. This is used in particular to be able to electrically drive an electric drive unit, such as an electric motor, of the vehicle 1.
- Efficient route planning is particularly important for electrically powered vehicles, as the range of such vehicles is often limited.
- a remedy can be created by, for example, using an electronic route planning system 3 to carry out efficient route planning of at least one route 4 of the electrically operated vehicle 1.
- Route 4 for example, is a route along a road, for example.
- route 4 can be traveled through when vehicle 1 is traveling.
- route planning can be carried out with the help of the electronic route planning system 3.
- the electronic route planning system 3 can be, for example, a server unit, a backend, a central or decentralized computing unit or a cloud-based system.
- the system 3 can have at least one electronic evaluation unit 5.
- a computer program can also be provided which can be loaded directly into a memory 6 of a control device 7 of the electronic route planning system 3.
- program means can be provided in order to carry out appropriate route planning of route 4 when the computer program is executed in the control device 7.
- the control device 7 can be the evaluation unit 5; it is also conceivable that there are two separate units of the system 3.
- calendar entries 8 of an electronic calendar 9 of a user 10 of the electrically operated vehicle 1 can be made available, in particular made available, to the evaluation unit 5 or the system 3.
- the electronic calendar 9 can be a digital calendar on a computer or other electronic device.
- these calendar entries 8 of the electronic calendar 9 are located on a mobile terminal 11 of the user 10.
- These calendar entries 8 can have appointments 12 and/or local destinations 13.
- Route planning can thus be carried out individually to suit the respective needs of the user 10, especially through his personal electronic calendar 9.
- a constant data exchange can be carried out between the system 3 and the electronic calendar 9, so that an ongoing process regarding planning can be carried out.
- dynamic adjustment takes place here should there be changes in the electronic calendar 9.
- the route 4 or several routes can be determined or planned depending on the calendar entries 8 and depending on at least one piece of information from the electrical energy storage 2 become.
- a current charge status and/or a maximum capacity and/or an energy consumption can be made available with the at least one piece of information from the electrical energy storage device 2.
- an average electrical energy consumption of the electrically operated vehicle 1, in particular per 100 kilometers, can be made available here. This is particularly important in order to be able to decide whether the electrical energy storage 2 is sufficient to carry out route 4.
- a time sequence in particular the order in which the calendar entries 8 are to be processed, and/or position information of the destinations 13 can also be taken into account. Furthermore, for example, a respective distance between the appointments 12 and/or destinations 13 to one another can be taken into account in order to be able to achieve efficient route planning or route planning or routing.
- the electronic evaluation unit 5 can take into account what possible loading status or what additional loading the vehicle has. It may also be important which one Route information and/or what traffic information and/or what environmental information is available regarding the at least one route 4. These can be accessed by the evaluation unit 5 from external information points or provided by them, for example. In particular, in traffic jam situations and/or in a large number of construction sites along route 4, the electrical range of the vehicle 1 can be severely impaired. Furthermore, weather phenomena, such as temperatures below freezing, have a negative impact on the electrical energy storage 2.
- Another criterion to be taken into account when planning route 4 are the respective local conditions in a respective area of the dates 12 and / or destinations 13. If, for example, these are located on inclines in the road, more electrical energy is required for the journey to such a location Driving the vehicle 1 is required. If, for example, when planning route 4 or while already driving through route 4, it should be determined that the electrical energy of the electrical energy storage 2 is not available or is not sufficient for driving through route 4, then, for example, at least one charging option can be provided an electrical charging station 14 can be determined. For this purpose, this charging option for the electrical energy storage device 2 is determined depending on the dates 12 and/or destinations 13. This should be done in such a way that there are no major detours and/or time delays when traveling through Route 4. It is also conceivable that, depending on the dates 12 and/or travel locations 13, a battery changing station is determined, at which the electrical energy storage can be exchanged or changed, in particular automatically, by a charged energy storage device.
- route 4 can be a delivery tour by a field service employee and/or a logistics company. During such a delivery tour, for example, longer times can be used to charge the electrical energy storage device 2.
- a location of the charging option and/or a charging time and/or a charging quantity and/or a charging duration can also be determined by the evaluation unit.
- This information can, for example, be output acoustically and/or optically to the user 10 via his mobile terminal 11. Furthermore, it may be possible to reserve this special charging station 14 for charging. Furthermore, further potential charging options along route 4 can be determined by the evaluation unit 5 and made available at least as a backup.
- the thus planned route 4 can, for example, be automatically transmitted or transmitted to a navigation system 15 of the electrically operated vehicle 1 and/or to the mobile terminal 11 of the user 10. This means that the planned route 4 can be driven through in an efficient manner. Furthermore, it is conceivable that the user 10 is provided with several potential routes, i.e. additional alternative routes to route 4. The user 10 can thus be provided with or offered a choice of a corresponding route.
- the vehicle 1 is a hybrid vehicle.
- An increase in battery capacity cannot be activated or adjusted by automatically switching to a hybrid driving mode due to exhausted battery capacity. This is done, for example, by configuration with arrow keys in an infotainment system of the vehicle 1.
- the user 10 can manually set how much charge or how much electrical energy can be removed or added for the hybrid driving mode. If a journey is now undertaken, route guidance can be set using the navigation system 15. If no route guidance is provided, no further automated procedure will take place.
- the availability of charging stations can be displayed and can be done through communication with a database that makes this data available.
- trend analyzes can be used, which determine the probability of a free charging station at the charging point at the time of arrival. If there is a high probability that a charging station is available near the destination, for example at an appointment 12 or destination 13, the user 10 can be informed whether he would like to charge at the destination and thus the destination can be optimized accordingly by the system. If it is determined during the journey that the planned charging station is no longer free, especially before arriving at the charging stations, the area around the initial destination is checked for further free charging stations. This takes place continuously, for example, and suggests alternative charging options if necessary. An optimized driving style can be used throughout the entire journey in order to achieve the optimal energy-efficient range for the two drives, i.e. combustion engine and electric motor, and at the destination one of the User 10 must not fall below the minimum capacity of the electrical energy storage device.
- the route planning system 3 can be used for this.
- a desired length of stay at an appointment 12 or destination 13 is queried or a return or onward journey planning is used via an application, such as the “We connect app”. This can be used for a corresponding charging time. From this, if the electrical energy storage 2 is desired to be fully charged, a corresponding minimum remaining capacity of the electrical energy storage 2 can be determined. This can be calculated from the data from the charging station.
- the route guidance can be used to determine a minimum remaining capacity of the battery that is required for the return or onward journey is optimized. For example, this is done via the “We connect app” in order to efficiently plan and manage the route.
- the required capacity can be determined from the route guidance or route planning and this can be set as the target value for the remaining capacity, for example by the evaluation unit. For this purpose, balanced use of the electric drive and the combustion engine is activated during route guidance to maintain the charge and ensure efficient driving.
- the user 10 can select or specify a full charge during the outward and return journey.
- navigation data can advantageously be used to check charging options.
- the user 10 can be queried about a charging project.
- the navigation data or route data can also be automatically adjusted to the nearest free charging station.
- the vehicle 1 and/or the evaluation unit 5 can check whether the charging stations are free or occupied at the destination or at a charging location when starting the journey and during the journey. If the status of a free charging station has changed, an adjustment can be made to the navigation data regarding the destination entry with regard to the calendar entries 8, so that the nearest free charging station can be controlled.
- appointment data or calendar entries 9 charging destinations and possible charging times at the desired destination can be determined.
- a charging destination request i.e. a preference for a charging process, can be queried by the system 3 from the user 10.
- charging can be carried out automatically via the hybrid vehicle's combustion engine while driving. If charging is not to be carried out at the destination and the return journey takes place via the same route 4, a necessary capacity for energy-efficient driving is determined from the route or route planning of the outward journey and this is taken into account on the outward journey if necessary according to the electrical energy storage 2.
- the minimum capacity of the electrical energy storage device 2 defined or specified by the user can be taken into account and, above all, not fallen below.
- a route and a potentially required battery capacity can be checked in conjunction with the driving behavior of the user 10. This allows a possible loading capacity to be determined during a dwell time at a destination or at an appointment 12 or arrival location 13.
- an electrical energy storage device 2 can be charged automatically. If this is not the case, the electrical energy storage device 2 can be automatically charged independently, for example by recuperation or other systems, especially in hybrid vehicles.
- a gas station network or a charging station network can optionally be taken into account when determining a charging station.
- a current fuel price can also be taken into account in order to be able to suggest a cost-effective provider to the user 10.
- cost sensitivity can be used as a possible input parameter when searching for charging and/or filling stations.
- an automatic changeover of the minimum battery capacity set or specified by the user 10 can be carried out to achieve a greater reach. For example, if there is no desire to charge or there is no charging station available at the destination, the minimum battery capacity for an efficient return journey is determined. This is done with the help of the evaluation unit 5. The minimum battery capacity at the destination is determined and set accordingly. This is done automatically by the system, for example. Alternatively, the user 10 can decide, in particular with the help of an electronic input unit, that the outward and return journey should be used for full charging. Thus, during route 4, which includes the outward and return journey, a corresponding charging option for fully charging the electrical energy storage device 2 can be sought. This means, for example, that the minimum battery capacity can be set to a maximum on a return trip.
- the corresponding information, queries and/or status reports can be provided to the user 10 via an infotainment system or via voice query or voice input in the vehicle 1.
- the route 4 is first determined on the basis of the calendar entries 8 and this is assessed based on the information from the electrical energy storage 2. It is also conceivable in an exemplary embodiment that the route planning takes place at least in phases at the same time in such a way that the calendar entries 8 are used and a storage state of an electrical energy storage device 2 is also taken into account. In this way, various alternative routes can be determined.
- the proposed method is particularly advantageous for optimized hybrid charging of a hybrid vehicle.
- FIG. 2 An exemplary process for planning and implementing route 4 is shown in FIG. 2 below. Some optional steps are explained in more detail here. For example, planning a delivery route for a logistics system can be used as a process.
- step S1 planning can first be started or started.
- step S2 appointment calendar data is retrieved.
- the vehicle 1 can communicate with the electronic calendar 9.
- an appointment overview is created or optimized. This can be done, for example, in the case of: Logistics system or company's break times and appointments for a working day, during which deliveries are made, for example, are compared.
- the route and route planning can then be carried out in an optional fourth step S4.
- battery capacity planning of the electrical energy storage 2 can be carried out.
- the appointment targets at charging stations can then be checked, for example, in an optional sixth step S6.
- step S7 An additional check of this can take place in an optional seventh step S7.
- step S8 a distance between the charging stations and the appointment destinations can be checked. This can be done by the evaluation unit 5.
- step S9 the possible loading capacity can be checked during the appointments.
- the route and route planning including charging points can be created or calculated. This can be transferred to the vehicle 1 or the user 10, for example.
- the charging stations can also be checked to see whether their travel, appointment and break data and locations match the appointment calendar. For example, the created appointments with charging points can be made available to the user 10. In this regard, coordination of the daily routine for deliveries, for example, can be checked.
- step S11 it can be checked again whether there is sufficient time between the appointments. It can be checked whether there is a sufficient time buffer for the route between the charging station and the appointment destination, for example 15 minutes including the traffic situation based on experience-based values. Furthermore, it can be checked whether there is enough time between appointments for organizational issues, such as toilet breaks, telephone calls, eating or other things. If this is not the case, you can jump back to step S3. If there is sufficient time, an appointment overview can be created, saved and transmitted to the user 10 or the vehicle 1 in a twelfth step S12. The user can then, for example, take over route guidance, appointment guidance and charging guidance. The user can evaluate whether the planned route is suitable for him or her for the day.
- step S3 can be repeated again. If the user 10 is satisfied, a traffic situation regarding route 4 can be checked in an optional fourteenth step S14. If the traffic situation is not critical, Route 4 can be used, for example. If this is not the case, the third step S3 can be repeated.
- step S15 a check of the charging stations for availability, in particular dynamically, can optionally take place in a step S16.
- the charging stations can be checked while driving. If the charging stations are available or charging planning can be implemented, route planning can be continued in an optional step S17. If route planning cannot be implemented, new planning regarding charging destinations can be carried out in an optional eighteenth step S18.
- a change in charging point including the impact on the daily appointments can therefore be calculated here and made available to the user 10.
- suggestions for alternative charging stations, including the resulting scheduling effects can be issued or provided to the user 10 in an optional step S19.
- step S20 If the user confirms this and therefore supports it, the route planning can be updated in a step S20. If the user does not agree with the suggestion of alternative charging stations, step S18 can be repeated. If the new updated route S20 now fits, it will again be referred to as route guidance S17. If a charging point or the appointment target has again been reached, it can be checked whether the daily target has been reached in a step S21. If this is not the case, step S16 can be repeated. In turn, all appointment goals regarding calendar entries 8 should have been processed or completed be, the route planning and in particular the route travel can be ended in a final step S22.
