Claims (14)
- Verfahren zum Kühlen eines ersten kryogenen Speichertanks (1), wobei ein erster Strom eines im ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gespeicherten kryogenen Fluids (11) aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gepumpt, in einem Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) unterkühlt und wieder in den ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) eingespeist wird, wobei der erste Strom des kryogenen Fluids (11) im Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) durch indirekte Wärmeübertragung mit einem gasförmigen Kältemittel unterkühlt wird, das in einem geschlossenen kryogenen Kühlkreislauf (4) zirkuliert, wobei der geschlossene kryogene Kühlkreislauf (4) mindestens eine Expansionsturbine (5) zum Expandieren des gasförmigen Kältemittels von hohem Druck auf niedrigen Druck und den Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) zum indirekten Übertragen von Wärme vom ersten Strom des kryogenen Fluids (11) auf das gasförmige Kältemittel umfasst, wobei sich der Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) stromabwärts der mindestens einen Expansionsturbine (5) befindet, wobei das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte umfasst:- Erkennen des Auftretens eines Gefrierens mindestens einer Komponente des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11), das aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) in den Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) gepumpt wird;- Auftauen des Unterkühlungswärmetauschers (3) durch teilweises Öffnen eines Regelventils (6), das sich an einer Umgehungsleitung (7) befindet, die einen Teil des gasförmigen Kältemittels nur um die mindestens eine Expansionsturbine (5) leitet, und;- gleichzeitiges Erhöhen des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11), das aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gepumpt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Öffnung des Umgehungsventils (6) angepasst wird, um die Temperatur des in den Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) eintretenden gasförmigen Kältemittels über den Gefrierpunkt des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11) zu erhöhen, das aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gepumpt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, wobei der Temperaturanstieg des in den Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) eintretenden gasförmigen Kältemittels im Bereich von 0,1 °C bis 10 °C, vorzugsweise von 0,1 bis 5 °C, mehr bevorzugt von 0,1 bis 1 °C über dem Gefrierpunkt des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11) liegt, das aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gepumpt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Erhöhung des ersten Stroms des aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gepumpten kryogenen Fluids (11) angepasst wird, um den Wärmeeintrag in den ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) auszugleichen.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei der erste Strom des kryogenen Fluids (11) erhöht wird, indem zusätzlich ein zweiter Strom des kryogenen Fluids (12) aus einem zweiten kryogenen Speichertank (2) gepumpt wird und der erste und der zweite Strom (11; 12) des kryogenen Fluids miteinander vermischt werden, bevor die resultierende Mischung in den Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) unterkühlt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Auftreten eines Gefrierens mindestens einer Komponente des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11) im Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) durch Messen eines Druckabfalls über den Pfad des kryogenen Fluids (10) des Unterkühlungswärmetauschers (3) erkannt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mindestens eine Expansionsturbine (5) des geschlossenen kryogenen Kühlkreislaufs (4) mindestens einen Verdichter (13; 14; 15) zum Verdichten des gasförmigen Kältemittels des geschlossenen kryogenen Kühlkreislaufs (4) durch eine direkte mechanische Verbindung zwischen der mindestens einen Expansionsturbine (5) und dem mindestens einen Verdichter (13; 14; 15) antreibt, wobei der mindestens eine Verdichter (13; 14; 15) nur durch die mindestens eine Expansionsturbine (5) angetrieben wird. - System zum Kühlen eines ersten kryogenen Speichertanks (1), umfassend:- eine erste Pumpe (101), die in einem im ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gespeicherten kryogenen Fluid eingetaucht ist, um einen ersten Strom des kryogenen Fluids (11) aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) zu pumpen;- einen Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3), der fluidisch mit der ersten Pumpe (101) verbunden ist, die in dem im ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gespeicherten kryogenen Fluid eingetaucht ist, um den ersten Strom des aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) gepumpten kryogenen Fluids (11) durch indirekten Wärmeaustausch mit einem in einem geschlossenen kryogenen Kühlkreislauf (4) zirkulierenden gasförmigen Kältemittel zu unterkühlen, wobei der geschlossene kryogene Kühlkreislauf (4) mindestens eine Expansionsturbine (5) zum Expandieren des gasförmigen Kältemittels von hohem Druck auf niedrigen Druck umfasst und der Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) sich stromabwärts der Expansionsturbine (5) befindet;- Mittel (8) zum Erkennen des Auftretens eines Gefrierens mindestens einer Komponente des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11), das aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) in den Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) gepumpt wird,- ein Regelventil (6), das sich an einer Umgehungsleitung (7) befindet, wobei die Umgehungsleitung (7) nur die mindestens eine Expansionsturbine (5) umgeht;- Befehls- und Steuercomputermittel (9) zum Öffnen des Regelventils (6), das sich an der Umgehungsleitung (7) der mindestens einen Expansionsturbine (5) befindet, und zum gleichzeitigen Erhöhen des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11), das aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) durch die erste Pumpe (101) gepumpt wird, die sich im ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) befindet, wenn das Gefrieren mindestens einer Komponente des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11) im Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) erkannt wird.
- System nach Anspruch 8, ferner umfassend eine zweite Pumpe (102), die in einem in einem zweiten kryogenen Speichertank (2) gespeicherten kryogenen Fluid eingetaucht ist, um einen zweiten Strom des kryogenen Fluids (12) aus dem zweiten kryogenen Speichertank (2) zu pumpen, wobei der erste Strom und der zweite Strom des kryogenen Fluids (11; 12) miteinander vermischt werden, bevor sie gemeinsam in einem Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) durch indirekte Wärmeübertragung mit einem gasförmigen Kältemittel unterkühlt werden, das in dem geschlossenen kryogenen Kühlkreislauf (4) zirkuliert.
- System nach Anspruch 8 oder 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel zum Erkennen des Auftretens eines Gefrierens mindestens einer Komponente Bestandteils des ersten Stroms des kryogenen Fluids (11), das aus dem ersten kryogenen Speichertank (1) in den Unterkühlungswärmetauscher (3) gepumpt wird, einen Differenzdrucktransmitter (8) zum Messen des Differenzdrucks über den Pfad des kryogenen Fluids (10) des Unterkühlungswärmetauschers (10) umfasst.
- System nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 10,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der geschlossene kryogene Kühlkreislauf (4) mindestens einen Kreiselverdichter (13; 14; 15) zum Verdichten des gasförmigen Kältemittels umfasst, das innerhalb des geschlossenen kryogenen Kühlkreislaufs (4) zirkuliert, wobei der mindestens eine Kreiselverdichter (13; 14; 15) direkt mit der mindestens einen Expansionsturbine (5) des geschlossenen kryogenen Kühlkreislaufs (4) verbunden ist und nur von dieser angetrieben wird. - Anwendung des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 an Bord eines LNG-Tankers
- Schiff, umfassend ein System nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 11.
- Schiff nach Anspruch 13, wobei das Schiff ein LNG-Tanker ist.
