Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the manufacture of parts in ceramic composite material from a mixture of powders of mineral matter of different sizes and/or different densities.
  • alumina-rutile composite material alumina powder having a median particle size (D 50 ) of 0.2 to 0.4 micron and rutile powder having a median size particles (D 50 ) of 1 to 2 microns.
  • Such parts in ceramic composite material can be obtained by synthesizing the powder from a solution with a mixture of precursors. Such a process is very expensive.
  • Such parts in ceramic composite material can also be obtained by preparing an aqueous suspension of a mixture of starting mineral powders, incorporating at least one binder and/or at least one plasticizer into the aqueous suspension, atomizing the resulting aqueous suspension to obtain granules, shaping of the granules by pressing, and heat treatment called sintering of the preform thus obtained to consolidate and densify the desired part, the binder(s) and/or the plasticizer(s) being pyrolyzed by the sintering .
  • the current methods are either very expensive to guarantee a precise and controlled chemical composition of the parts made of composite material, without pollution, or not suitable for precise control of the chemical composition of the part made of composite material.

Description

Marco D et al. « Dielectric properties of alumina doped with TiO2 from 13 to 73 Ghz » Journal of European Ceramic Society, vol 37, N°2, 2016, Miyauchi et al. « Improvement of the dielectric properties of rutile doped Al2O3 ceramics by annealing society » Journal of European Ceramic Society, vol.
    • des substrats, tels que des plaques, pour des composants hyperfréquences formés de pistes métalliques disposées sur ces substrats ;
    • des composants hyperfréquences formés à partir de blocs céramiques usinés à la géométrie voulue ; et
    • des supports ou espaceurs (« spacers ») entre substrats et résonateurs diélectriques.
  • (a2) ajouter à la suspension obtenue en (a1) ledit au moins un liant et/ou ledit au moins un plastifiant jusqu’à homogénéisation ;
  • (b) on conduit une granulation cryogénique de la suspension obtenue en (a2), ladite granulation cryogénique consistant en une congélation par pulvérisation suivie d’une lyophilisation, pour obtenir des granules lyophilisés ;
    • une permittivité relative (εr) dans une gamme de 9 à 15 ;
    • une perte diélectrique exprimée par l’angle de perte défini par tan δ entre 2x10-5 et 10x10-5 dans des bandes de fréquences micro-ondes ;
    • un coefficient de stabilité en température linéaire (τf) entre -60ppm/°C et +20ppm/°C ; et
    • une densité d’au moins 98 % de la densité théorique, en particulier d’au moins 99% de la densité théorique.
    • apporter une fonction rayonnante, ce qui est le cas des antennes bande étroite, large ou très large bande, des lentilles, des dioptres d’antennes, des antennes à base de résonateurs diélectriques ;
    • servir à la propagation d’un champ électromagnétique par ondes progressives amorties, au sein de guides, diviseurs, combineurs ou coupleurs ;
    • servir de fonction basée sur des ondes stationnaires, ce qui est le cas des résonateurs, des oscillateurs, des filtres, des multiplexeurs ;
    • servir de substrats pour circuits planaires ou hybrides hyperfréquences ; ou
    • servir de séparateurs entre pièces du composant ou système hyperfréquence qui voient tout ou partie du champ électromagnétique.
