Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a drill bit according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Segmented drill bits include a drill shank with a shank and a cutting section with multiple drill segments.
  • the drill bits are attached via the shank in the tool holder of a core drilling device and are driven during drilling by the core drilling device about an axis of rotation which runs coaxially to the longitudinal axis of the drill shaft.
  • the drill stem has a cylinder with a cylinder axis that defines the longitudinal axis of the drill stem.
  • the drill segments have an outer lateral surface and an inner lateral surface, with the inner lateral surface being designed as a section of a cylinder and having a constant inner distance from the longitudinal axis in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
  • a drill core is created inside the drill bit, which has to be removed from the drill bit after drilling, which can lead to problems and the drill core gets stuck inside.
  • Particular problems are caused by fragments that break out of the drill core and can get stuck between the drill bit and the drill core.
  • Segmented drill bits are divided into drill bits with a replaceable cutting section that is detachably connected to the drill shaft and drill bits with a fixed cutting section.
  • Replaceable cutting bits have easier core removal than fixed cutting bits because the cutting portion can be detached to remove the core.
  • the object of the present invention is to develop a drill bit with two drill segments in which the risk of jammed drill cores is reduced even for small drill bit diameters.
  • the removal of a stuck drill core should be simplified.
  • the drill bit is characterized in that the first inner distance varies between a first maximum value and a first minimum value over the circumference of the first drill segment and has exactly a first absolute minimum value over the circumference of the first drill segment, and the second inner distance over the circumference of the second drill segment is greater is equal to the first absolute minimum value.
  • the drill bit according to the invention comprises a first drill segment with a first inner lateral surface, which has a first inner distance to the longitudinal axis, and a second drill segment, which has a second inner distance to the longitudinal axis, the first inner distance varying between a first maximum and minimum value and the second inner distance is greater than or equal to the first absolute minimum value over the circumference of the second drilling segment. Due to the fact that the first drill segment has exactly a first absolute minimum value over the circumference, the contact surface between the first drill segment and the drill core is limited to the area of the first absolute minimum value.
  • the first inner distance has two first maximum values over the circumference of the first drilling segment, with the first absolute minimum value being arranged between the first maximum values in the circumferential direction.
  • the distribution of the first maximum values and the first absolute minimum value over the circumference of the first drill segment makes it possible to produce a first drill segment with a small contact area with the drill core.
  • the first drill segment can only be in contact with the drill core in the area of the first absolute minimum value; all other areas of the first inner lateral surface have a gap to the drill core.
  • the first inner distance over the circumference of the first drilling segment describes a first mathematical function that is strictly monotonous in the area of the first absolute minimum value. Due to the strictly monotonous progression of the first inner distance in the area of the first absolute minimum value, the contact surface to the drill core and thus the areas in which the drill core can jam are reduced.
  • the first absolute Minimum value determines the diameter of the drill core, which is twice the first absolute minimum value.
  • the second inner distance varies between a second maximum value and a second minimum value and has exactly a second absolute minimum value over the circumference of the second drilling segment. Due to the fact that the second drilling segment has exactly a second absolute minimum value over the circumference, the contact area between the second drilling segment and the drill core is limited to the area of the second absolute minimum value. The second drill segment only has a contact surface with the drill core if the first absolute minimum value and the second absolute minimum value match.
  • the second inner distance has two second maximum values over the circumference of the second drilling segment, with the second absolute minimum value being arranged between the second maximum values in the circumferential direction.
  • the distribution of the second maximum values and the second absolute minimum value over the circumference of the second drill segment makes it possible to produce a second drill segment with a small contact area with the drill core.
  • the second drilling segment can only be in contact with the drill core in the area of the second absolute minimum value; all other areas of the second inner lateral surface have a gap to the drill core.
  • the second inner distance preferably describes a second mathematical function over the circumference of the second drilling segment, which is strictly monotonic in the area of the second absolute minimum value. Due to the strictly monotonous progression of the second inner distance in the area of the second absolute minimum value, the contact area with the drill core and thus the areas in which the drill core can jam are reduced.
  • the first absolute minimum value of the first drilling segment and the second absolute minimum value of the second drilling segment are identical and offset from one another by approximately 180° in the circumferential direction. With an offset of approximately 180°, the first absolute minimum value and the second absolute minimum value are opposite one another in the circumferential direction and can lead to a mirror-symmetrical structure of the drill bit. Due to the mirror-symmetrical design, vibrations of the drill bit during drilling can be reduced and the smooth running of the drill bit can be improved.
  • the first inner lateral surface is designed as a section of a first cylinder and the second inner lateral surface is designed as a section of a second cylinder.
  • the formation of the first and second inner lateral surface as a section of a first or second cylinder has the advantage that the removal properties of the first and second drill segment are constant over the height.
  • the first cylinder has a first base area that is different from a circular shape
  • the second cylinder has a second base area that is different from a circular shape.
  • the formation of the first and/or second inner lateral surface as a section of a cylinder with a non-circular base has the advantage that the contact surface between the drill segment and the drill core is reduced.
  • the first base has a first elliptical shape and the second base has a second elliptical shape; the elliptical shape is particularly suitable as a non-circular base.
  • the first inner lateral surface is designed as a section of a first inner cone, which tapers in the direction of a first top side opposite the underside of the first drilling segment
  • the second inner lateral surface is designed as a section of a second inner cone, which tapers in the direction of one of the undersides of the second Bohrsegmentes opposite second top tapers formed.
  • the formation of the first and second inner lateral surface as a section of an inner cone has the advantage that the contact surface of the drill segments with the drill core is further reduced.
  • the fact that the inner cone tapers in the direction of the upper side of the drill segment can make it easier to remove a stuck drill core.
  • the risk of the drill core jamming in the drill bit is greatest in the area of the smallest interior distance, i.e. at the top of the drill segments. Since the top of the drilling segments is accessible to the operator, the operator can remove the stuck core.
  • the first inner cone preferably has a first base area that is different from a circular shape, and/or the second inner cone has a second base area that is different from a circular shape.
  • the formation of the first and/or second inner lateral surface as a section of an inner cone with a non-circular base has the advantage that the contact surface between the drill segment and the drill core can be reduced to a minimum.
  • the first base has a first elliptical shape and the second base has a second elliptical shape; the elliptical shape is particularly suitable as a non-circular base.
  • the first drilling segment and the second drilling segment are preferably of identical design.
  • a drill bit with two drill segments that are identical in terms of manufacturing accuracy has uniform removal properties.
  • the first absolute minimum value and the second absolute minimum value lie opposite one another in the circumferential direction and lead to a mirror-symmetrical construction of the drill bit. Description

Bohrkrone mit verbesserter Entfernung des Bohrkerns
Technisches Gebiet
