  • the dimensions of the covering flange 6 are, in particular slightly, greater that the dimensions of the hole in the wall, so that the covering flange 6 is deformed when passing through the hole of the wall 17 but can function as covering seal once outside the hole.
  • the other sections of the main body 4 of the seal 1 are located inside the hole of the wall 17 and act respectively as fixing element (fixing section 9) and as environmental seal (rear section 7).
  • the entire process of fixing the seal 1 and installing the flue 2 of the combustion appliance 3 outside the room 19 can be carried out by remaining inside the room 19. Also, the installation can be carried out also by a single operator in a short time without the necessity of a ladder or scaffold and without the necessity of repairing damages to the external side of the wall 17.

  • the flue 2 comprises also a second end 15 for the outlet of the flue gas.
  • the second end 15 is configured for discharging the fuel gas in the external environment.
  • the seal 1 is fixed to the second end 15 of the flue 2. As clearly shown in the figure, the seal 1 is fixed to the flue 2 by means of screws. According to the example of figure 3 , the flue 2 passes through two walls 17 before exiting in the external environment. In principle, the flue 2 can pass any number of walls 17. The important aspect is that the seal 1 need to be fixed at a terminal end (i.e. the second end 15) of the flue 2. In the figure, the double function of the seal 1 is also clarified. At one hand, the front section 5, i.e. the covering flange 6, acts as a covering seal and, on the other hand, the rear section 7, i.e. the sealing lips 8, acts as an environmental seal.
  • the apparatus 15 can easily be used to retrofit an existing combustion appliance 3, by simply connecting the apparatus 13 to the appliance 3, thereby replacing an existing flue assembly.

Claims (14)

  1. Dichtung (1), insbesondere eine interne Armaturdichtung, die an einem Abzugsrohr (2) eines Verbrennungsgeräts (3), insbesondere eines Gasheizkessels, befestigt werden kann, wobei die Dichtung (1) einen Hauptkörper (4) aufweist, umfassend:
    einen vorderen Abschnitt (5), umfassend einen Abdeckflansch (6),
    einen hinteren Abschnitt (7), umfassend mindestens eine Dichtungslippe (8), und
    einen Befestigungsabschnitt (9), der sich zwischen dem vorderen Abschnitt (5) und dem hinteren Abschnitt (7) befindet,
    wobei der Befestigungsabschnitt (9) Befestigungsmittel (10) umfasst, die zum Befestigen der Dichtung (1) an einer Außenfläche (11) des Abzugsrohrs (2) des Verbrennungsgeräts (3) verwendet werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Befestigungsmittel (10) eine oder mehrere Öffnungen (12) umfassen.
  2. Dichtung (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hauptkörper (4) ein einteiliges Element ist.
  3. Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hauptkörper (4) aus einem zum Formen geeigneten Material besteht, insbesondere aus Gummi.
  4. Dichtung (1) nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hauptkörper (4) aus Gummi einer Shore-Härte zwischen A40 und A80 gefertigt ist.
  5. Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung (12) eine Durchgangsbohrung oder eine Vertiefung ist, insbesondere eine Aufnahme.
  6. Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnungen (12) in gleichen Abständen um den Hauptkörper (4) herum angeordnet sind.
  7. Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    a. der Hauptkörper (4) ringförmig ist und/oder
    b. der vordere Abschnitt (5) einen größeren Durchmesser aufweist als der hintere Abschnitt (7) und/oder
    c. die Länge des vorderen Abschnitts (5) in axialer Richtung kleiner ist als die Länge des hinteren Abschnitts (7) und/oder
    d. der vordere Abschnitt (5), der hintere Abschnitt (7) und der Befestigungsabschnitt (9) rotationssymmetrisch geformt sind.
  8. Dichtung (1) nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hauptkörper (4) eine interne Öffnung hat, deren Innendurchmesser zwischen 50 mm und 150 mm liegt, insbesondere 100 mm oder 127 mm.
  9. Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der hintere Abschnitt (7) vier Dichtungslippen (8) umfasst.
  10. Vorrichtung (13) für ein Verbrennungsgerät (3), insbesondere für einen Abzugsrohrkrümmer, umfassend:
    ein Abzugsrohr (2), das ein erstes Ende (14) aufweist, das an das Gerät (3) anschließbar ist, um Abgas aus dem Gerät (3) aufzunehmen, und ein zweites Ende (15) für den Austritt des Abgases, wobei das zweite Ende (15) so konfiguriert ist, dass es das Brenngas in die externe Umgebung abgibt, und
    eine Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, die am zweiten Ende (15) des Abzugsrohrs (2) befestigbar ist.
  11. Verbrennungsgerät (3), insbesondere Gasheizkessel, umfassend die Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 oder die Vorrichtung (13) nach Anspruch 10.
  12. Nachrüstsatz (16) für ein Verbrennungsgerät (3), insbesondere einen Gasheizkessel, umfassend mindestens eine Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 oder mindestens eine Vorrichtung (13) nach Anspruch 10 und Mittel zum Anbringen der Dichtung (1) an einem Abzugsrohr (2) des Verbrennungsgeräts (3) oder zum Anbringen der Vorrichtung (13) im Verbrennungsgerät (3).
  13. Verfahren zum Nachrüsten eines Verbrennungsgeräts (3), insbesondere eines Gasheizkessels, umfassend
    das Befestigen mindestens einer Dichtung (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 an einem Abzugsrohr (2) des Verbrennungsgeräts (3) oder
    das Anbringen einer Vorrichtung (13) nach Anspruch 10 in dem Verbrennungsgerät (2).
  14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, wobei das Verfahren ferner das Durchführen des Abzugsrohrs (2) durch eine Öffnung in einer Wand (17) nach dem Befestigen der Dichtung (1) an dem Abzugsrohr (2) umfasst.
