Definitions
- the invention relates to a civil engineering device for creating a hole in the ground with a device frame, a holding device on an upper region of the device frame for holding the civil engineering device on a support cable or a support rod, a removal device which has at least one rotatably drivable removal element and on a lower end region of the Device frame arranged and designed for removing soil material, a drive arranged on the device frame for rotating the at least one removal element and a suction device for suctioning removed soil material together with a liquid that is in the hole, upwards by means of a suction line, the suction device at least one suction opening at the lower end region of the device frame and a suction pump which is arranged on the device frame, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention further relates to a method for creating a hole in the ground using a civil engineering device with a device frame, a holding device on an upper region of the device frame, the civil engineering device being held on a support cable or a support rod, a removal device which has at least one rotationally drivable removal element and is arranged at a lower end region of the device frame, wherein soil material is removed by the at least one removal element to create the hole in the ground, a drive arranged on the device frame, through which the at least one removal element is driven in rotation, and a suction device through which removed soil material together with a liquid that is located in the hole, is sucked upwards by means of a suction line, the suction device having at least one suction opening at the lower end region of the device frame and a suction pump which is arranged on the device frame, according to the preamble of claim 11.
- diaphragm wall cutters are used to create so-called diaphragm walls or sealing walls, which are needed to secure or seal construction pits.
- soil material is removed by rotating cutting wheels and sucked into the cutting slot together with the surrounding support suspension or flushing liquid using a suction pump and transported away above ground.
- the removed suspension or flushing liquid can be depleted of removed soil material in a processing plant and the suspension or flushing liquid can be returned to the slot.
- Such a trench wall milling machine and such a method are, for example, from DE 41 41 629 A1 or the EP 2 586 962 A1 known.
- the performance of the suction pump must be designed such that it reliably removes the milled soil material with the surrounding liquid upwards out of the slot.
- the delivery length or delivery head increases and thus also the work to be done by the suction pump.
- correspondingly powerful and therefore cost-intensive suction pumps must be provided.
- a similar problem can also occur with in-hole drilling devices with a suction pump arranged on the device. From the EP 2 930 275 B1 or the the EP 2 615 239 B1 such in-hole drilling rigs emerge.
- the invention is based on the object of providing a civil engineering device and a method for creating it, with which a hole in the ground can be created particularly efficiently.
- the civil engineering device is characterized in that the suction line opens into a distribution unit, which is arranged on the device frame and to which a top-leading discharge line and a return line for returning part of the sucked-in liquid to the lower end region of the device frame are connected, and that the distribution unit is a sieve which is designed for the passage of liquid with smaller removed soil material either to the return line or to the discharge line.
- a basic idea of the invention is to connect a distribution unit to the suction line on the device frame, preferably in the area of the suction pump, from which a discharge line leading upwards and a return line leading back downwards branch off.
- a sieve is arranged in the distribution unit, which allows a partial flow of liquid, which can have a defined smaller removed soil material, to pass into the return line or the discharge line. Another partial flow with larger soil particles is directed into the other line.
- a concentration of soil material can be achieved in the suspension to be conveyed upwards. This means that the delivery capacity of a suction pump is significantly used to remove the removed soil material, while the liquid, which only serves as a delivery medium, can be reduced, in particular to a necessary level.
- the return line serves to reintroduce the liquid branched off at the sieve, which can also be referred to as a suspension, back into the slot at a suitable point on the frame.
- This discharge of the diverted liquid with a smaller proportion of removed soil material can take place at a suitable point above the milling wheels and preferably largely without pressure.
- the size of the sieve openings can be used to set the size from or up to which removed soil material is conveyed upwards.
- this also makes it possible to set the size up to which smaller soil particles can be returned with the return line and remain in the suspension and in the soil slot.
- the sieve is arranged and designed for the passage of liquid with smaller removed soil material to the return line, with larger soil particles which cannot pass through the sieve being able to be conveyed upwards together with liquid via the discharge line .
- One idea is to provide a return line with a sieve on the device frame, preferably above the suction pump, which allows the passage of liquid, which can have defined smaller removed soil material, while larger soil particles can be removed further upwards via the discharge line from the hole in the ground.
- concentration is achieved of soil material in the suspension to be conveyed upwards. This means that the delivery capacity of a suction pump is significantly used to remove the removed soil material, while the liquid, which only serves as a delivery medium, can be reduced, in particular to a necessary level.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention is that an adjusting unit, in particular a throttle or a control valve, is arranged on the return line and is designed to adjust a flow through the return line.
- the adjusting unit can basically be any suitable element in order to set and change a flow rate through the return line, with the flow rate also changing accordingly in the area of the discharge line that continues upwards.
- the actuating unit can be a throttle, i.e. a constriction in the return line, or a control valve, for example a butterfly valve or a valve with an adjustable slide.
- the actuating unit can be adjusted manually or remotely via a control device.
- An automatic control can also be provided depending on the performance of the suction pump and/or a working depth.
- the actuating unit can be changed so that the partial flow in the return line is increased. This reduces the partial flow to be pumped upwards accordingly, so that sufficient milled soil material can be pumped upwards despite the increasing delivery head.
- a servomotor for adjusting a control valve is arranged on the device frame.
- the servomotor can be an electric or hydraulic motor or a hydraulically or pneumatically operated actuator.
- the distribution unit can be designed in such a way that no fluid flow is introduced into the return line if, for example, the existing performance of the suction pump is sufficient during operation.
- an advantageous embodiment of the invention can consist in the return line being designed to be telescopic.
- the return line can be pushed into a retraction position when it is not needed.
- Telescopic tailpipe can be adjusted to a desired exit position.
- a diffuser can be provided at the outlet end of the return line for the gentlest possible exit of the returned liquid into the milling slot.
- the distribution unit comprises a housing on which an inlet opening for the suction line, an outlet opening for the discharge line and an outlet opening for the return line are formed.
- the housing can enclose a receiving space in which the sieve is arranged in front of the outlet opening to the return line.
- a particularly expedient embodiment of the civil engineering device according to the invention is achieved in that a connecting piece with sieve openings to form the sieve is arranged in the housing of the distribution unit between the inlet opening for the suction line and the outlet opening for the discharge line.
- the connecting piece is designed as a tube to form a tubular sieve.
- the suctioned liquid can thus flow through the connection unit from the inlet opening to the outlet opening in a tubular channel, with the liquid to be returned flowing with smaller soil material through sieve openings in the tubular sieve in the adjacent receiving space of the housing of the connection unit and from there can flow back via the return line.
- a particularly preferred development of the invention is achieved in that the sieve in the housing of the distribution unit is surrounded by a receiving space, with liquid being able to enter the receiving space over the circumference of the sieve, and in that the receiving space is connected to the return line.
- the sieve can in particular be designed as a tubular sieve, so that liquid can pass through into the surrounding receiving space of the distribution unit over the entire circumference of the tubular sieve. This enables particularly efficient dividing and sieving of the suctioned liquid with the removed soil material.
- the liquid with removed soil material can also be referred to as a suspension.
- the sieve is mounted in a replaceable manner in the housing of the distribution unit.
- an access that can be opened and closed can be provided on the housing of the distribution unit for easy access to the sieve.
- the sieve can be easily detached using suitable releasable fasteners and, in the event of wear, in particular if the sieve becomes clogged, it can be easily removed and cleaned or replaced with another sieve.
- several sieves or sieve elements can be provided in the distribution unit, which are arranged one above the other and can thus form an overall sieve.
- the civil engineering device is designed as a trench wall cutter or as an in-hole drilling device.
- a trench wall cutter one or preferably several cutting wheels are arranged, which have horizontal or transverse cutting wheel axes relative to a vertical direction of advance.
- a trench wall cutter preferably has two pairs of cutting wheels, which are arranged at a lower end of the device frame and are driven in rotation to remove soil material.
- a drilling head is arranged on the underside of the device frame, which is driven in rotation about a, preferably vertical, drilling axis directed in the direction of advance.
- guide elements for guiding the device in the hole in the ground and preferably also transversely directed clamping elements can be provided on the device frame of the civil engineering device.
- the civil engineering equipment can be clamped to at least a portion of the perforated wall via the clamping elements in order to generate additional propulsive force.
- the invention further comprises a method for creating a hole in the ground, which is characterized in that the suction line opens into a distribution unit, which is arranged on the device frame and to which a top-leading discharge line and a return line are connected, through which part of the sucked liquid is returned to the lower end region of the device frame, and that the distribution unit has a sieve through which liquid is carried smaller removed soil material passes through either to the return line or to the discharge line.
- the method according to the invention can be carried out in particular with one of the previously described civil engineering devices according to the invention.
- the advantages described above can be achieved.
- FIG Figures 1 and 2 out An exemplary embodiment of a civil engineering device 10 according to the invention, which is designed as an in-hole drilling device 11, is shown in FIG Figures 1 and 2 out.
- a schematically indicated holding device 14 is arranged at an upper end region of an elongated device frame 12.
- the holding device 14 is designed to hold the civil engineering equipment 10 on a support cable or a support rod and can, for example, have a hook receptacle.
- a rotatably drivable removal element 22 is arranged as a removal device 20, which according to the exemplary embodiment shown can be a drill head 23 with removal teeth 24.
- the drill head 23 can be driven to rotate about a usually vertical drilling axis via a plurality of drives 16 in a central region of the device frame 12 via a tubular drilling drive train 18.
- the drill string 18 can be moved axially relative to the device frame 12 in a generally known manner for carrying out a drilling step by means of feed cylinders 26.
- Clamping elements 28 shown schematically can be arranged on the device frame 12 for clamping the civil engineering device 10 on a wall of the hole in the ground can be extended radially.
- Soil material removed during drilling is sucked off together with the surrounding liquid, which is provided to support the borehole, by means of a suction device 30 on the drill head 23.
- Suction openings can be arranged on the drill head 23, via which the removed soil material with liquid is pumped upwards by means of a suction line 32 and a suction pump 34.
- the suction line 32 opens into a distribution unit 40 with a preferably box-shaped housing 42, as detailed in Fig. 2 is shown.
- the housing 42 of the distribution unit 40 has an inlet opening 43 for the suction line 32 on its underside.
- an outlet opening 45 for a return line 60 is formed on the underside of the housing 42, which will be described in more detail below.
- a control valve 70 with a servomotor 72 can be arranged on the return line 60.
- an outlet opening 44 for a discharge line 38 is formed on the top of the housing 42.
- the discharge line 38 extends upwards out of the hole in the ground in order to convey removed soil material and liquid from the hole and in particular to feed it to a processing system for separating the liquid from removed soil material.
- a receiving space 46 is enclosed by the housing 42 of the distribution unit 40.
- a sieve 50 is arranged within the receiving space 46, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is preferably designed as a tubular connecting piece 52, which connects the inlet opening 43 of the suction line 32 to the outlet opening 44 of the discharge line 38.
- a plurality of sieve openings with a defined opening diameter for forming the sieve 50 are provided in the tubular connecting piece 52.
- liquid sucked out by the suction pump 34 with removed soil material can flow into the distribution unit 40 via the inlet opening 43 and enter the discharge line 38 via the outlet opening 44 and be further conveyed upwards become. Due to the openings in the sieve 50, part of the suctioned liquid can enter the surrounding receiving space 46 of the housing 42 of the distribution unit 40 together with smaller soil particles of the milled soil material, which can pass through the openings of the sieve 50. This partial flow with the sieved liquid can enter the return line 60 via the outlet opening 45 and be returned via this to a lower region of the device frame 12.
- the return line 60 can be designed to be telescopic with a displaceable telescopic piece 64, which has an opening 62 above the drill head 23 and can follow the axially displaceable drill head 23. In this way, the sieved liquid with a proportion of removed soil material of smaller particle size can remain in the hole in the ground and does not have to be conveyed further upwards.
- the distribution unit 40 provided according to the invention with a sieve 50 creates a certain concentration of removed soil material with larger particles, so that a limited pump performance can be achieved efficiently for conveying an increased proportion of removed soil material.

The performance of the suction pump must be designed such that it reliably removes the milled soil material with the surrounding liquid upwards out of the slot. As the slot depth increases, the delivery length or delivery head increases and thus also the work to be done by the suction pump. As the slot depth increases, correspondingly powerful and therefore cost-intensive suction pumps must be provided. However, it is not possible to provide arbitrarily large pumps with large pump drives, since the installation space on a trench wall cutter, for example, is limited. In a milling operation, it may therefore be necessary to reduce the removal rate of the milling machine above a certain depth. This allows the amount of milling debris produced to be reduced and adapted to the limited delivery capacity of the suction pump. However, this reduces the speed of removal and slows down the progress of construction work.
The invention is based on the object of providing a civil engineering device and a method for creating it, with which a hole in the ground can be created particularly efficiently.
The task is solved on the one hand by a civil engineering device with the features of claim 1 and on the other hand by a method with the features of
The civil engineering device according to the invention is characterized in that the suction line opens into a distribution unit, which is arranged on the device frame and to which a top-leading discharge line and a return line for returning part of the sucked-in liquid to the lower end region of the device frame are connected, and that the distribution unit is a sieve which is designed for the passage of liquid with smaller removed soil material either to the return line or to the discharge line.
A basic idea of the invention is to connect a distribution unit to the suction line on the device frame, preferably in the area of the suction pump, from which a discharge line leading upwards and a return line leading back downwards branch off. A sieve is arranged in the distribution unit, which allows a partial flow of liquid, which can have a defined smaller removed soil material, to pass into the return line or the discharge line. Another partial flow with larger soil particles is directed into the other line.
By arranging a sieve, a concentration of soil material can be achieved in the suspension to be conveyed upwards. This means that the delivery capacity of a suction pump is significantly used to remove the removed soil material, while the liquid, which only serves as a delivery medium, can be reduced, in particular to a necessary level.
By returning a partial flow of sucked-in liquid with removed soil material directly to the device frame, the work to be done by the suction pump is reduced, which has to be done to pump the remaining partial flow upwards. This means that even with a suction pump with limited suction power, efficient operation with a high removal rate and a high amount of removed soil material can be achieved.
The return line serves to reintroduce the liquid branched off at the sieve, which can also be referred to as a suspension, back into the slot at a suitable point on the frame. This discharge of the diverted liquid with a smaller proportion of removed soil material can take place at a suitable point above the milling wheels and preferably largely without pressure.
By appropriately designing a sieve with sieve openings, the size of the sieve openings can be used to set the size from or up to which removed soil material is conveyed upwards. In particular, this also makes it possible to set the size up to which smaller soil particles can be returned with the return line and remain in the suspension and in the soil slot.
Basically, only smaller soil material can be conveyed upwards, while coarser soil particles are conveyed back to the milling wheels for further shredding. This also relieves the burden of preparing the suspension on the soil surface.
According to a further development of the invention, it is particularly preferred that the sieve is arranged and designed for the passage of liquid with smaller removed soil material to the return line, with larger soil particles which cannot pass through the sieve being able to be conveyed upwards together with liquid via the discharge line . One idea is to provide a return line with a sieve on the device frame, preferably above the suction pump, which allows the passage of liquid, which can have defined smaller removed soil material, while larger soil particles can be removed further upwards via the discharge line from the hole in the ground. By arranging a sieve, concentration is achieved of soil material in the suspension to be conveyed upwards. This means that the delivery capacity of a suction pump is significantly used to remove the removed soil material, while the liquid, which only serves as a delivery medium, can be reduced, in particular to a necessary level.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is that an adjusting unit, in particular a throttle or a control valve, is arranged on the return line and is designed to adjust a flow through the return line. The adjusting unit can basically be any suitable element in order to set and change a flow rate through the return line, with the flow rate also changing accordingly in the area of the discharge line that continues upwards. Preferably, the actuating unit can be a throttle, i.e. a constriction in the return line, or a control valve, for example a butterfly valve or a valve with an adjustable slide. The actuating unit can be adjusted manually or remotely via a control device. An automatic control can also be provided depending on the performance of the suction pump and/or a working depth. In particular, as the working depth increases and thus as the pump work increases to convey the removed soil material upwards, the actuating unit can be changed so that the partial flow in the return line is increased. This reduces the partial flow to be pumped upwards accordingly, so that sufficient milled soil material can be pumped upwards despite the increasing delivery head.
According to an embodiment variant of the invention, it is particularly expedient that a servomotor for adjusting a control valve is arranged on the device frame. The servomotor can be an electric or hydraulic motor or a hydraulically or pneumatically operated actuator. In principle, the distribution unit can be designed in such a way that no fluid flow is introduced into the return line if, for example, the existing performance of the suction pump is sufficient during operation.
In particular, an advantageous embodiment of the invention can consist in the return line being designed to be telescopic. The return line can be pushed into a retraction position when it is not needed. Furthermore, it is possible to use the return line, which in particular Telescopic tailpipe can be adjusted to a desired exit position. In particular, a diffuser can be provided at the outlet end of the return line for the gentlest possible exit of the returned liquid into the milling slot.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, it is preferred that the distribution unit comprises a housing on which an inlet opening for the suction line, an outlet opening for the discharge line and an outlet opening for the return line are formed. The housing can enclose a receiving space in which the sieve is arranged in front of the outlet opening to the return line.
A particularly expedient embodiment of the civil engineering device according to the invention is achieved in that a connecting piece with sieve openings to form the sieve is arranged in the housing of the distribution unit between the inlet opening for the suction line and the outlet opening for the discharge line.
It is particularly advantageous that the connecting piece is designed as a tube to form a tubular sieve. The suctioned liquid can thus flow through the connection unit from the inlet opening to the outlet opening in a tubular channel, with the liquid to be returned flowing with smaller soil material through sieve openings in the tubular sieve in the adjacent receiving space of the housing of the connection unit and from there can flow back via the return line.
A particularly preferred development of the invention is achieved in that the sieve in the housing of the distribution unit is surrounded by a receiving space, with liquid being able to enter the receiving space over the circumference of the sieve, and in that the receiving space is connected to the return line. The sieve can in particular be designed as a tubular sieve, so that liquid can pass through into the surrounding receiving space of the distribution unit over the entire circumference of the tubular sieve. This enables particularly efficient dividing and sieving of the suctioned liquid with the removed soil material. The liquid with removed soil material can also be referred to as a suspension.
For long-term reliable operation, according to a further development of the invention, it is preferred that the sieve is mounted in a replaceable manner in the housing of the distribution unit. In particular, an access that can be opened and closed can be provided on the housing of the distribution unit for easy access to the sieve.
The sieve can be easily detached using suitable releasable fasteners and, in the event of wear, in particular if the sieve becomes clogged, it can be easily removed and cleaned or replaced with another sieve. In principle, several sieves or sieve elements can be provided in the distribution unit, which are arranged one above the other and can thus form an overall sieve.
According to a further development of the invention, it is preferred that the civil engineering device is designed as a trench wall cutter or as an in-hole drilling device. In a trench wall cutter, one or preferably several cutting wheels are arranged, which have horizontal or transverse cutting wheel axes relative to a vertical direction of advance. A trench wall cutter preferably has two pairs of cutting wheels, which are arranged at a lower end of the device frame and are driven in rotation to remove soil material.
In the case of an in-hole drilling device, a drilling head is arranged on the underside of the device frame, which is driven in rotation about a, preferably vertical, drilling axis directed in the direction of advance. On the device frame of the civil engineering device, guide elements for guiding the device in the hole in the ground and preferably also transversely directed clamping elements can be provided. The civil engineering equipment can be clamped to at least a portion of the perforated wall via the clamping elements in order to generate additional propulsive force.
The invention further comprises a method for creating a hole in the ground, which is characterized in that the suction line opens into a distribution unit, which is arranged on the device frame and to which a top-leading discharge line and a return line are connected, through which part of the sucked liquid is returned to the lower end region of the device frame, and that the distribution unit has a sieve through which liquid is carried smaller removed soil material passes through either to the return line or to the discharge line.
The method according to the invention can be carried out in particular with one of the previously described civil engineering devices according to the invention. The advantages described above can be achieved.

At a lower end of the
Soil material removed during drilling is sucked off together with the surrounding liquid, which is provided to support the borehole, by means of a suction device 30 on the
Furthermore, an

Thus, liquid sucked out by the
In this way, the amount of the partial flow of liquid that has to be pumped away from the
