Description
- This present application claims benefit of the Application
202011530165.1, filed on December 22, 2020 - The present invention relates to luggage manufacturing technology, and more particularly to a luggage having four sides opened and closed.
- luggage is a commonly article, which not only provides the convenience of carrying items, but also has obvious characteristics of the times and is accompany with obvious fashion characteristics. In order to clearly reflect these characteristics, people continuously develop and experiment with various materials used to make the luggage, structures, aesthetics, and performance. Common luggage is generally portable or push-pull. For portable luggage, they are more convenient to use, but their size is generally small and not be suitable for storing large amounts of items. For push-pull luggage, their volume is large and they store a lot of items so as that their weight is heavy. Therefore, the convenience of use has become a research and development focus for the push-pull luggage.
- However, for existing push-pull luggage, they mainly include a box body and a box cover. The back sides of the box body and the box cover are sewn with fabric or connected with hinges together, and only a front side of the luggage can be opened. When the luggage is placed and stored and the front side is not facing outward, users must first move the luggage and adjust it to the front side facing outward so as to successfully open it. Obviously, it is not convenient to retrieve and place items. In addition, when traveling, sometimes it is inevitable to take things from the luggage, such as by plane or by train. Therefore, when it is necessary to open the luggage, the existing luggage must be placed flat on the ground and then zippered to open it. As a result, it clearly brings a lot of trouble to users.
- Therefore, it is necessary to provide a luggage having four sides opened and closed which makes it possible to solve the above problem.
- Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with references to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout two views.

It should be noted that references to "an" or "one" embodiment in this application arenot necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean at least one.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 to FIG. 4 , a luggage having four sides opened and closed is shown in accordance with an examplary emobodiment of the present invention. The luggage having four sides opened and closed includes abox body 10, azipper component 20 arranged on thebox body 10, and twostoppers 30 disposed on thezipper component 20. It can be understooded that the luggage having four sides opened and closed also includes other functional structrues, such as handles, pull rod components, pulley components and so on, which are familiar to a person skilled in the art, and will not be described in detail. - The
box body 10 can be a box shaped structure formed by plastic injection molding or fabric sewing. Thebox body 10 can be a trolley case, a backpack or a shoulder bag, or other types of bags and so on. Thebox body 10 includes anupper cover 11 and alower cover 12 fit with theupper cover 11. Theupper cover 11 and thelower cover 12 have essentially the same structure, and when theupper cover 11 and thelower cover 12 are buckled together, a space is formed for users to store items. - The
zipper component 20 includes a double-layer zipper 21, twopull heads 22 respectively arranged on the double-layer zipper 21, and two insertingrods 23 arranged on the double-layer zipper 21. As is known to all, the double-layer zipper 21 is an explosion-proof zipper, which makes it impossible to open the luggage without damaging the double-layer zipper 21, no matter what sharp tool is used. When the double-layer zipper 21 is closed, it is possible for the luggage to open and close on all four sides. For luggage with a single layer zipper, it has been confirmed through extensive experiments that that the zipper can be opened by using a sharp hard object to poke the zipper. Therefore, the single layer zipper is unsuitable for opening and closing on four sides of the luggage. Because as long as the single layer zipper is poked open, the entire luggage is completely opened. The double-layer zipper 21 itself is a prior art, such as patent number201220248939.6 layer zipper 21 includes anupper chain 211 sewn onto theupper cover 11, and alower chain 212 sewn onto thelower cover 12. The twopull heads 22 have same structure and their specific structure has been described in the patent201220248939.6 pull head 22 includes adisengaging side 221, and anengaging side 222 opposite thedisengaging side 221. In order to achieve a goal of four sides openen and closed, when the twopull heads 22 are respectively set on theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212, the disengagingsides 221 of the twopull heads 22 are facing each other. That is to say, when assembling the twopull heads 22, ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 are inserted from thedisengaging side 221 of one of the twopull heads 22, and are inserted from theengaging side 222 of theother pull head 22. Therefore, when the twopull heads 22 are arranged on theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212, theengaging sides 222 of the twopull heads 22 are opposite to each other. - The two
inserting rods 23 are arranged at the same end of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212, and both have a conical structure. Theinserting rod 23 can be made of metal or plastic material. When teeth of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 are made of plastic, the conical structure of theinserting rod 23 can be formed by sintering, that is to say, by firing or high-temperature hot melting the teeth, and then being extruded into a conical structure by a conical mold. The conical structure can be in the form of a conical platform or a conical tip. If theinserting rod 23 does not have the conical structure, both theinserting rod 23 and the ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 have a flush structure. Therefore, when the ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 are inserted into theengaging side 222 of thepull head 22, the flush structure will abutt against the connecting columns of the two flat plates of thepull head 22, thereby preventing theengaging side 222 of the pull head from being assembled into theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212. Since both of theinserting rods 23 have the conical structure, theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 can be inserted and assembled from theengaging side 222 of thepull head 22. In the present embodiment, theinserting rod 23 is made of metal for facilitating multiple uses and industrial manufacturing. - The
inserting rod 23 includes abody 231, afirst cutting surface 232 disposed on a sidewall of thebody 231, and asecond cutting surface 233 disposed on the other sidewall between thefirst cutting surface 232 and thebody 231. Thebody 231 may have a bular structure, which is resepectively sleeved at the ends on the same side of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212. Thefirst cutting surface 232 is arranged on one sidewall of thebody 231 and has a wedge-shaped structure so as to form the conical structure. Thesecond cutting surface 233 is arranged on the side sidewall between thefirst cutting surface 232 and thebody 231 and thesecond cutting surface 233 is also wedge-shaped so as to forming the conical structure. When the twoinserting rods 23 are assembled onto theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212, thefirst cutting surface 232 of the twoinsert rods 23 is arranged facing each other, and thesecond cutting surface 233 must be located on the same side of the twoinserting rods 23 so as that theinserting rods 23 can be inserted into thepull head 22 from theengaging side 222 thereof. When assembling the two pull heads 22, the two insertingrods 23 are inserted from the disengagingside 221 of one of the two pull heads 22 and from theengaging side 222 of anotherpull head 22, thereby causing the two pull heads 22 to be set in opposite directions. - The
stoppers 30 can be made of soft materials, such as leather, cloth, leather, etc. The twostoppers 30 are respectively arranged at connecting points of the two ends of the double-layer zipper 21. Specifically, the two soft materials are respectively wrapped at the connecting points of the two ends of the double-layer zipper 21. That is to say, the two insertingrods 23 and one end of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 are respectively wrapped by the two soft materials, and the two soft materials are sewn on theupper cover 11 and thelower cover 12 respectively. Thestoppers 30 not only make the entire luggage look beautiful, but also prevents the two pull heads 22 from falling off from both ends of the double-layer zipper 21 respectively. Furthermore, the two ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 are flush with each other, and the twostoppers 30 are separately arranged on theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212. Therefore theupper cover 11 and thelower cover 12 can be opened in the connecting points of the two ends of the double-layer zipper 21, thereby achieving the purpose of opening and closing at any position. Moreover, it can be understood that thestoppers 30 can also be made of two metal sheets, which are respectively arranged on the inner and outer sides of theupper cover 11 and thelower cover 12, and are fixed with screws or rivets. - Furthermore, as with existing luggage, the luggage having four sides opened and closed may also includes a lock (not shown). The lock may is set next to the connecting points at both ends of the double-
layer zipper 21. The lock is used to lock the luggage with pull tabs of the pull heads 22 to prevent it from being intentionally or unintentionally opened by outsiders without permission. - As described above, the luggage provided by the present embodiment can be opened and closed on all four sides due to the use of a double-
layer zipper 21, which is an explosion-proof zipper. When the double-layer zipper 21 is closed, no matter what sharp tool is used, the luggage cannot be opened without damaging the double-layer zipper 21, making it possible for the luggage to be opened and closed on all four sides. Furthermore, since the two ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 of the double-layer zipper 21 are respectively equipped with one insertingrod 23, and the insertingrods 23 have the conical structure, which is opposite to the other end of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212. Since the insertingrod 23 is used, both of the opposing pull heads 23 can be assembled onto the double-layer zipper 23. Specifically, the two insertingrods 23 are inserted from the disengagingside 221 of one of the two pull heads 22 and from theengaging side 222 of anotherpull head 22. Therefore, the disengagingsides 221 of the two pull heads 22 are opposite to each other so as to allow the two pull heads 22 to open or close in opposite directions. As a result, the two pull heads 22 can be located at any position except for the connecting points of the two ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212, thereby achieving the goal of opening and closing on all four sides. Since the two insertingrods 23 can be inserted from the disengagingside 221 of one of the two pullingheads 22 and from theengaging side 222 of anotherpull head 22, the connecting points of the two ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 are no longer overlapped but in a flush state. Therefore, the luggage can also be opened at the connecting points of the two ends of theupper chain 211 and thelower chain 212 so at to allowing the luggage to be opened at any position. - While the disclosure has been described by way of example and in terms of exemplary embodiment, it is to be understood that the disclosures is not limited thereto. To the contrary, it is intended to lamp shade various modifications and similar arrangements (as would be apparent to those skilled in the art). Therefore, the scope of the appended claims should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements.
