Definitions
- the present invention relates to an electrical module, which can be designed, for example, as a lamp and is to be coupled to a mounting rail, the mounting rail having a mounting rail profile with two side walls and at least one busbar with contactable lines arranged in the mounting rail profile.
- the module can also be a camera or sensor unit or, in general, a unit that is intended for use in a light line system.
- Mounting rails with a mounting rail profile and a busbar held in the mounting rail profile are known from the prior art and are used, for example, to implement elongated so-called continuous-row lighting systems.
- a well-known continuous line system is sold by the applicant under the name "TECTON” ® and is characterized by the fact that lights or other electrical consumers can be flexibly positioned on the mounting rail over the entire length of the system. This is made possible by the fact that, due to the special storage of the conductor rail lines, they are accessible to consumers over essentially the entire length of the continuous line system, so that the lines can be contacted not only at fixed positions, but at any location.
- the shows WO 2001/091250 A1 such a light strip system.
- two busbars are arranged opposite each other on the two side walls of a U-shaped mounting rail profile that is open at the bottom. Contacting the lines of the busbars is then done by the luminaire or consumer having a rotatable contacting element, which is inserted into the mounting rail from the underside and then rotated by approximately 45°. Contacts arranged on the contacting element are designed in such a way that they are swung out laterally by twisting and ultimately contact the lines of the busbars in the twisted state.
- a carrier element is also coupled to the contacting element, to which, for example in the case of a lamp, the lamps and possibly other electronic components are attached.
- Such contacting elements in the form of so-called rotary taps have proven themselves many times in practice and enable an electrical module to be easily mounted on a mounting rail. Numerous further developments were proposed in order to optimize the functionality of these contacting elements. For example, locks are known from the prior art which prevent unintentional twisting of the contacting element, which on the one hand facilitates the transport of the electrical module and on the other hand ensures that it cannot independently detach itself from the mechanical anchoring on the mounting rail profile. Furthermore, it is known to provide different sealing measures to ensure that the handles or levers required to operate the contacting element do not impair the sealing of the light strip system ultimately implemented. Finally, it is known to design the rotary taps and the mounting rail profile in such a way that the contacting element can only be arranged in the mounting rail in a correct orientation.
- the present invention is therefore based on the task of providing an improvement in such a way that it is ensured that only the desired lines of a busbar can actually be contacted by such a contacting element.
- the electrical module according to the invention has a contacting element, which is initially constructed in a manner analogous to the contacting elements known from the above prior art.
- the contacting element is rotatably mounted relative to a carrier element of the electrical module between an open position, in which insertion and removal of the contacting element from the mounting rail profile is possible, and a contacting position, in which the connection contacts contact lines of the busbar.
- a contact holder body holding the connection contacts is mounted such that it can be adjusted relative to a base body of the contacting element along the axis of rotation about which the contacting element can be rotated.
- the contact holder body can move between a blocking position, in which rotation of the contacting element is blocked, and a release position, in which rotation of the contacting element is possible.
- the contact holder body is movably mounted ensures that when the electrical module is connected to the mounting rail, only the lines of the busbar(s) actually intended for contacting are actually contacted. As long as the electrical module is not in the position that is completely attached to the mounting rail, the contact holder body remains in the locking position, so that accidental turning of the contacting element and thus accidental contacting of incorrect lines on the busbar(s) is prevented. Only when the electrical module is completely attached to the mounting rail does the contact holder body according to the present invention reach the release position, in which rotation of the contacting element and thus actual swinging out of the contacts is now possible. This safety mechanism prevents accidental touching of the cables at the wrong height of the busbar(s).
- the contact holder body is elastically biased into the locking position.
- This can be achieved, for example, by using a spiral or plate spring, which is supported on the one hand on the contact holder body and on the other hand on the base body and presses both elements in opposite directions.
- the contact holding body preferably has contact surfaces which are designed to interact with the mounting rail profile in such a way that the contact holding body is moved in the direction of the release position when the contacting element is inserted into the mounting rail profile, the release position preferably only being moved when the module is completely in contact with the mounting rail is achieved.
- the contact holder body is moved from the locking position against the preferably existing spring force in the direction of the release position through appropriate interaction with the mounting rail profile, this being achieved in particular only when the module is in the appropriate position located.
- the contact holding body has blocking elements which cooperate with the carrier element in the blocking position of the contact holding body in such a way that rotation of the contacting element is blocked. In the release position of the contact holding body, however, these blocking elements then engage in recesses or undercuts in the carrier element in such a way that rotation of the contacting element is now possible.
- the additional security according to the invention when connecting an electrical module to a mounting rail can be achieved through a special storage and design of the contact holder body, which then interacts in a corresponding manner on the one hand with the mounting rail and on the other hand with the carrier element.
- the contact holding body has locking elements which interact with the mounting rail profile in such a way that the electrical module is mechanically secured to the mounting rail in the contacting position of the contacting element. These additional locking elements then ensure that the electrical module is also mechanically secured to the mounting rail in the position contacting the cables.
- the base body preferably has an actuating element or is coupled to a corresponding actuating element, which enables the base body and thus the contacting element to be easily rotated, provided that the contact holding body is in the release position.
- the actuating element can have a handle part which protrudes laterally beyond the support element of the electrical module and can therefore be actuated in a simple manner while connecting the electrical module.
- the handle part can, for example, be connected or coupled to the base body via an elastic arm, in which case it is possible to implement an additional locking mechanism, which ensures that when connected to the mounting rail, the contacting element is no longer easily twisted and accordingly can be unintentionally detached from the mounting rail.
- the solution according to the invention ensures that when an electrical module is connected to a mounting rail, only the lines of the busbar provided for this purpose can actually be contacted and incorrect contacting, which can possibly lead to damage to the system or the module, is therefore excluded.
- the present invention represents, for example, a further development of the known “TECTON” system.
- the Figure 5 shows a view of the mounting rail, in which the busbars are arranged and are contacted by an electrical module - here by a lamp.
- the Figure 6 in turn shows the design of a lamp to be connected to this mounting rail system with a contacting element provided for this purpose.
- an elongated support profile rail 101 with a U-shaped cross-section and open downwards is used, which with its two side walls 102 and 103 as well as the upper connecting wall 104 delimits an elongated receiving space which is of is accessible from the underside via an elongated coupling opening.
- a so-called busbar 120 or 130 is then arranged on the inside of both side walls 102, 103, each of which has a plurality of wires or conductors 121, 131 running in the longitudinal direction, which are in elongated channels or grooves made of an insulating material existing line receiving structure 125, 135 are arranged.
- the channels ensure that the conductors 121, 131 are stored securely in such a way that they cannot be accidentally touched. At the same time, however, the channels are each designed to be open towards the interior of the support profile rail 101, so that contact with the conductors 121, 131 is possible.
- a lamp 140 to be connected to this mounting rail system 100 then has at least one rotatably mounted contacting or tapping element 145, as shown in particular in Figure 6 can be seen and which is arranged on an elongated support element 142 of the lamp 140.
- the lamp 140 is attached to the elongated support rail 101 from the underside, with the contacting element 145 being inserted into the support rail 101 via the elongated coupling opening and then rotated by approximately 45 °.
- contacts 146 are arranged on both sides of the contacting element 145 in order to be able to contact the busbars 120, 130 positioned on both side walls 102, 103 of the support profile rail 101. Because the contacts 146 with an associated contact holding part and the connected - unrecognizable - cable can be moved vertically with respect to a contact holding body 148 of the tapping element 145, they can be arranged according to the position of a desired conductor 121, 131 in order to then correspond to this Contact leader as requested. On the one hand, this makes it possible to select the phase and the neutral conductor for the power supply. Depending on the number of conductors provided by the busbars 120, 130, these can then also be used for other purposes such as communication. This makes it possible to combine the lighting units connected to the support rail 101 into a larger continuous line system and to control the lights centrally from a central control unit.
- the present invention provides additional security, which ensures that only the desired lines of the busbar(s) can actually be contacted by the electrical module.
- the design of the electrical module according to the invention, but in particular the Contacting element should be explained below using the Figures 1 to 4 be explained in more detail.
- FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of an electrical module 50 according to the invention, which, like that based on Figures 5 and 6 explained lamp has a support element 30 and a contacting element 10.
- the other components of the electrical module 30, which can be, for example, a lamp to be connected to a mounting rail system, are not shown in the illustrations for reasons of clarity.
- this will have, for example, appropriate lighting means and associated components for operating the lighting means or, for example, a sensor and/or corresponding means for communication.
- it can be a module that can be used in a variety of ways as part of an elongated continuous line system.
- the carrier element 30 itself is designed in the form of an elongated profile part, which is attached to the mounting rail profile and locked with it in the manner shown in more detail below.
- the carrier element is a correspondingly formed elongated sheet metal part, which then carries the other components of the module 50. It is also known from the prior art to use a circuit board used to store LEDs directly as a support element and then to deform it accordingly. This would of course also be conceivable within the scope of the present invention.
- the support element 30 has a horizontal transverse web 31, as shown, which is delimited on both long sides by corresponding lateral areas 32 and 33.
- this contacting element 10 - as explained in more detail below - is accommodated in the receiving area 5 in such a way that it can be rotated relative to a vertical axis I, namely between an open position on the one hand and a contacting position on the other.
- this twisting of the contacting element 10 can only be carried out under certain conditions.
- the contacting element 10 is formed from essentially two components, on the one hand a base body 15 and on the other hand a contact holding body 20. Both components 15, 20 are coupled to one another in such a way that they can only be rotated together relative to the axis I. So they have a fixed relationship to each other with respect to this axis I.
- FIGS. 2a to 2d show the electrical module in different views, in particular the carrier element 30 with the contacting element 10 arranged thereon, which is in the open position and in particular is not inserted into a mounting rail. That is, in the illustrated case, the contact holder body 20 is in the above-mentioned locking position.
- the contact holding body 20 is also in a rotational position in which, for example, wing-like locking elements 22 projecting laterally from the contact holding body 20 are aligned in this way (see in particular the supervision in Figure 2c ), that they - for example, in contrast to the representation according to Figure 1 - Do not protrude laterally, in particular not beyond the upwardly extended receiving area 5 of the carrier element 30.
- Contact elements provided on the contact holder body 20 and not shown in the figures are also pivoted due to the rotational position of the contacting element 10 in such a way that the contacting element 10 is in the elongated Receiving space of a mounting rail profile can be inserted from the underside and neither the contacts nor the locking elements 22 collide with the mounting rail profile.
- the electrical module can be attached to or removed from the mounting rail, as is also the case with the known contacting elements.
- a special feature according to the invention is that, due to the action of the spring 19, the contact holding body 20 is now also in an elevated position relative to the base body 15 and thus also the carrier element 30, this representing the already mentioned locking position in which the contacting element can be rotated 10 is not possible.
- blocking elements 25 and 26 provided in the lower region of the contact holder body, which are formed by corresponding bulges and are in the locking position at the level of inwardly projecting projections 32a and 33a of the side wall regions 32 and 33 of the carrier element.
- the distance between these two inward-pointing projections 32a and 33a is dimensioned with regard to the dimensions of the blocking elements 25, 26 of the contact holding body 20 such that they only fit between the two projections 32a, 33a when the contact holding body 20 or that Contacting element 10 is overall in the twisted open position.
- pivoting out of this open position into a contacting position is not possible in this state, since the blocking elements 25, 26 already rest on the insides of the projections 32a and 33a and therefore cannot be pivoted out any further.
- the contact holder body 20 should be pressed down into the release position as automatically as possible when the electrical module 50 is placed on a mounting rail, such that the release position is reached at the moment in which the electrical module 50 has been completely attached to the mounting rail.
- the contact holding body 20 designed according to the invention has additional lateral contact surfaces 27 and 28, which in turn protrude laterally opposite one another, but are offset in relation to the axis of rotation I compared to the locking wings 22 and the blocking elements 25 and 26.
- these contact surfaces 27 and 28 point outwards when the contacting element 10 is in a rotational position that corresponds to the open position.
- the locking elements 22 also swing out laterally, whereby they then engage over the top sides of the corresponding projections 67 and 68 of the mounting rail profile, so that in addition to the electrical contacting, a mechanical locking of the electrical module on the mounting rail 60 is also achieved.
- the contacting element 10 can be pivoted using an actuating element 12, which is connected or correspondingly coupled to the base body 15 via a laterally projecting arm 13.
- This arm 13 passes through a corresponding opening in the side wall area 32 of the support element 30 and is preferably designed to be slightly flexible.
- a locking mechanism can be implemented as additional security, which ensures that the Actuating arm and thus also the contacting element 10 remains overall in the locking position.
- the blocking elements 25 and 26 are at the level of the recesses 32b and 33b of the side wall regions 32, 33 of the carrier element 30, so that the contacting element 10 can now be rotated by, for example, 45 degrees using the actuating element 12 in order to reach the contacting position.
- the lines of the busbar are contacted by the swung-out contacts of the contacting element 10, and on the other hand, the now swung-out locking elements 22 engage over corresponding projections of the mounting rail profile, so that the electrical module is also mechanically secured to the mounting rail.
- the measures according to the invention ensure that the contacts can only be swiveled out when the electrical module is in the correspondingly suitable position or arrangement relative to the mounting rail. This prevents incorrect contacting of incorrect lines.

Description
The present invention relates to an electrical module, which can be designed, for example, as a lamp and is to be coupled to a mounting rail, the mounting rail having a mounting rail profile with two side walls and at least one busbar with contactable lines arranged in the mounting rail profile. In the same way, the module can also be a camera or sensor unit or, in general, a unit that is intended for use in a light line system.
In the "TECTON" ® system mentioned above, two busbars are arranged opposite each other on the two side walls of a U-shaped mounting rail profile that is open at the bottom. A carrier element is also coupled to the contacting element, to which, for example in the case of a lamp, the lamps and possibly other electronic components are attached.
Such contacting elements in the form of so-called rotary taps have proven themselves many times in practice and enable an electrical module to be easily mounted on a mounting rail.
Another problem that has not yet been addressed is the need to ensure that only the lines intended for this purpose can actually be contacted via the connection contacts of the contacting element. Since in the prior art the lines of the busbar are arranged at a relatively small distance one above the other, there is a risk that the contacting element will be twisted too early when the electrical module is placed on the mounting rail and that individual contacts will inadvertently contact the wrong wires of the busbar(s). to contact. This can possibly lead to an unwanted short circuit or other damage to the electrical module and/or even the entire system.
The present invention is therefore based on the task of providing an improvement in such a way that it is ensured that only the desired lines of a busbar can actually be contacted by such a contacting element.
This task is solved by an electrical module for connecting to a mounting rail, which has the features of
The electrical module according to the invention has a contacting element, which is initially constructed in a manner analogous to the contacting elements known from the above prior art. In the present case too, the contacting element is rotatably mounted relative to a carrier element of the electrical module between an open position, in which insertion and removal of the contacting element from the mounting rail profile is possible, and a contacting position, in which the connection contacts contact lines of the busbar. In order to ensure that incorrect lines are not accidentally contacted when mounting an electrical module on a mounting rail, it is provided that a contact holder body holding the connection contacts is mounted such that it can be adjusted relative to a base body of the contacting element along the axis of rotation about which the contacting element can be rotated. The contact holder body can move between a blocking position, in which rotation of the contacting element is blocked, and a release position, in which rotation of the contacting element is possible.
The fact that according to the present invention the contact holder body is movably mounted ensures that when the electrical module is connected to the mounting rail, only the lines of the busbar(s) actually intended for contacting are actually contacted.
- wherein the electrical module has a contacting element which can be inserted into the mounting rail profile and has connection contacts which are therefor are provided to come into contact with lines of the busbar when the contacting element is inserted into the mounting rail profile,
- wherein the contacting element is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation relative to a carrier element of the electrical module between an open position, in which insertion and removal of the contacting element from the mounting rail profile is possible, and a contacting position, in which the connection contacts contact lines of the busbar,
- wherein the contacting element has a base body that is rotatably accommodated in the carrier element of the electrical module and a contact holder body that holds the connection contacts and is arranged on the base body and rotates with it, and
- wherein, according to the invention, the contact holding body is mounted in an adjustable manner relative to the base body along the axis of rotation
- a) a blocking position in which rotation of the contacting element is blocked, and
- b) a release position in which the contacting element can be rotated.
According to the invention, the contact holder body is elastically biased into the locking position. This can be achieved, for example, by using a spiral or plate spring, which is supported on the one hand on the contact holder body and on the other hand on the base body and presses both elements in opposite directions.
The contact holding body preferably has contact surfaces which are designed to interact with the mounting rail profile in such a way that the contact holding body is moved in the direction of the release position when the contacting element is inserted into the mounting rail profile, the release position preferably only being moved when the module is completely in contact with the mounting rail is achieved. As part of connecting the electrical module to the mounting rail, the contact holder body is moved from the locking position against the preferably existing spring force in the direction of the release position through appropriate interaction with the mounting rail profile, this being achieved in particular only when the module is in the appropriate position located.
It can preferably be provided that the contact holding body has blocking elements which cooperate with the carrier element in the blocking position of the contact holding body in such a way that rotation of the contacting element is blocked. In the release position of the contact holding body, however, these blocking elements then engage in recesses or undercuts in the carrier element in such a way that rotation of the contacting element is now possible. Ultimately, the additional security according to the invention when connecting an electrical module to a mounting rail can be achieved through a special storage and design of the contact holder body, which then interacts in a corresponding manner on the one hand with the mounting rail and on the other hand with the carrier element.
In addition, according to an advantageous development of the invention, it can be provided that the contact holding body has locking elements which interact with the mounting rail profile in such a way that the electrical module is mechanically secured to the mounting rail in the contacting position of the contacting element. These additional locking elements then ensure that the electrical module is also mechanically secured to the mounting rail in the position contacting the cables.
The base body preferably has an actuating element or is coupled to a corresponding actuating element, which enables the base body and thus the contacting element to be easily rotated, provided that the contact holding body is in the release position. In particular, the actuating element can have a handle part which protrudes laterally beyond the support element of the electrical module and can therefore be actuated in a simple manner while connecting the electrical module. The handle part can, for example, be connected or coupled to the base body via an elastic arm, in which case it is possible to implement an additional locking mechanism, which ensures that when connected to the mounting rail, the contacting element is no longer easily twisted and accordingly can be unintentionally detached from the mounting rail.
Ultimately, the solution according to the invention ensures that when an electrical module is connected to a mounting rail, only the lines of the busbar provided for this purpose can actually be contacted and incorrect contacting, which can possibly lead to damage to the system or the module, is therefore excluded.

It can first be seen that in the known mounting
In the case shown,
In addition to the lighting units shown in the figures, other electrical units can also be connected to the mounting rail system. Sensors such as presence or brightness sensors that support automated operation of the lighting system would be particularly important. Units that enable communication or transmission of data for other purposes independent of the lighting control would also be conceivable as useful units to be connected to the mounting rail system. Finally, of course, a wide variety of different types of luminaires are also conceivable, which can be connected together to the support rail and fulfill different lighting technology tasks.
The
It is important that the
According to the present invention, however, this twisting of the contacting
For this purpose, it is provided that the contacting
In contrast to solutions known from the prior art, in the present case it is provided that a relative displacement can take place between the
With the help of a

A special feature according to the invention is that, due to the action of the
Only when the
The
The contacting
- a) Im Ausgangszustand befindet sich
- a) In the initial state, the contacting
element 10 is in the open position relative to thecarrier element 30, in which both thelocking elements 22 and the blocking 25 and 26 are pivoted in due to the rotational position. In this unloaded state, due to the spring force, theelements contact holding body 20 is also pressed into the upper blocking position, in which the contactingelement 10 is not twisted due to the above-described interaction between the blocking 25 and 26 and theelements projections 32a, 33a of the 32 and 33 of theside wall regions carrier element 30 can be. - b) If the electrical module is now placed on a mounting rail, the interaction between the mounting rail profile and the contact surfaces 27 and 28 results in the
contact holder body 20 being pressed downwards from the locking position in the direction of thecarrier element 30, the lower release position then is achieved when the electrical module has been completely attached to the mounting rail.
In this state, the blocking
It can therefore be seen that the measures according to the invention ensure that the contacts can only be swiveled out when the electrical module is in the correspondingly suitable position or arrangement relative to the mounting rail. This prevents incorrect contacting of incorrect lines.
