Definitions
- the invention relates to a speed control mechanism providing speed adjustment of rotating mechanism in carousel systems in game equipment in game parks.
- game equipment such as merry-go-round in various places mainly game parks to have fun.
- mechanisms where children have intensive physical activities as well as playing and socialising.
- game types such as rotating mechanisms, swinging face to face and swinging members, various rope balance units.
- Such systems comprise rotating system manufactured from stainless steel located in main poles to maximize stability and load capacity. In the rotating systems, excessive fast rotating of mechanism should be prevented.
- Said application comprises a machine for stopping a moving object, a conveyor vehicle for carrying the object forward along a line, and in order to stop moving object, it comprises a driving and stop unit structured in a way to move according to a return hit after forward stage along an initial parallel direction of stopping cycle and structured to move forward same direction as conveyor vehicle in order to achieve stopping of the moving object.
- Stopping machine also comprises a process unit embodied to generate a driving signal for controlling driving and stopping unit by an acceleration tendency. Maximum absolute value of the acceleration in the re-rotation stroke is smaller than maximum absolute value of acceleration inside forward stroke.
- Said application discloses a system for stopping speed of a machine. However, it does not disclose a speed control mechanism providing adjustment of speed of carousel system which is one of game equipment in game parks. The system disclosed therein does not have a mechanism stopping speed more in light vehicles than heavy vehicles.
- the invention has been developed with advancing the existing situation and aims to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages.
- Primary purpose of the invention is to prevent increase of speed of rotating mechanism in carousel systems of game equipment in game parks more than a certain speed value.
- Another purpose of the invention is to provide safe use of equipment by children without being driven away while using game equipment by help of speed adjustment as speed of rotating mechanism shall not be over 5 m/s according to the standards and so it is highly essential to provide speed adjustment. Thus, children are protected against negative cases such as injury, wounding etc.
- the invention demounted view is shown in figure 1 , is a speed control mechanism providing adjustment of speed of rotating mechanism (A) in carousel systems in game equipment in game parks and comprises:
- Figure 2 shows the mounted status of the invention and Figure 3 shows the illustrative view of game equipment wherein the invention is used. According to normal using procedure, the rotating speed of game equipment shall not exceed 5 m/s.
- the speed control mechanism of the invention prevents speeding of game equipment.
- the allen worm gear screw (1) applies more compressive force to the spring (3).
- speed of the equipment tend to speed up too much because of being light, is decreased.
- the worm gear screw (1) applies less compressive force to the spring (3).

Abstract
Description
- The invention relates to a speed control mechanism providing speed adjustment of rotating mechanism in carousel systems in game equipment in game parks.
- Today children can use game equipment such as merry-go-round in various places mainly game parks to have fun. There are various mechanisms where children have intensive physical activities as well as playing and socialising. There are various game types such as rotating mechanisms, swinging face to face and swinging members, various rope balance units. Such systems comprise rotating system manufactured from stainless steel located in main poles to maximize stability and load capacity. In the rotating systems, excessive fast rotating of mechanism should be prevented.
- In the prior art carousel system of game equipment is mounted onto equipment from outside. This causes failure of the system due to external factors such as stroke, rain, mud etc. and unsafe use because of insufficiency to fix speed.
- During the literature search for the subject matter, patent application numbered
TR2018/11116 - As a result, due to above-described disadvantages and inadequacy of existing solutions, it has been necessary to make development in the related art.
- The structural and characteristics features of the invention and all advantages will be understood better in detailed descriptions with the figures given below and with reference to the figures, and therefore, the assessment should be made taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations.
-
-
Figure 1 is a demounted status of speed control mechanism disclosed under the invention. -
Figure 2 is a mounted status of speed control mechanism disclosed under the invention. -
Figure 3 is an illustrative view of game equipment where speed control mechanism of the invention is used. -
- 1. Allen worm gear screw
- 2. Worm gear
- 3. Spring
- A. Rotating mechanism
- In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the speed control mechanism being subject of the invention have been described only for purpose of better understanding of the matter.
- The invention, demounted view is shown in
figure 1 , is a speed control mechanism providing adjustment of speed of rotating mechanism (A) in carousel systems in game equipment in game parks and comprises: - a spring (3) providing rotation of rotating mechanism (A) in rotating game equipment such as merry-go-round,
- an allen worm gear screw (1) preventing speeding of game equipment by making rotation of rotating mechanism (A) difficult by applying compressive force to the spring (3), and
- worm gear (2) connected to the allen worm gear screw (1).
-
Figure 2 shows the mounted status of the invention andFigure 3 shows the illustrative view of game equipment wherein the invention is used. According to normal using procedure, the rotating speed of game equipment shall not exceed 5 m/s. The speed control mechanism of the invention prevents speeding of game equipment. - Since small and light game equipment tend to speed up too much, the allen worm gear screw (1) applies more compressive force to the spring (3). Thus, speed of the equipment, tend to speed up too much because of being light, is decreased. In bigger and heavier equipment, the worm gear screw (1) applies less compressive force to the spring (3).
Claims (1)
- A speed control mechanism providing speed adjustment of rotating mechanism (A) in carousel systems in game equipment in game parks characterized by comprising:• a spring (3) providing rotation of rotating mechanism (A) in rotating game equipment such as merry-go-round,• an allen worm gear screw (1) preventing speeding of game equipment by making rotation of rotating mechanism (A) difficult by applying compressive force to the spring (3), and• worm gear (2) connected to the allen worm gear screw (1).
