Definitions
- the invention relates to a drinking water line module for connection to a secondary circulation line having at least one tap of a residential unit in a residential complex having at least one residential unit. Furthermore, the invention relates to a drinking water pipe system in a residential complex having at least one residential unit and a method for producing a drinking water pipe system in a residential complex having at least one residential unit.
- Auxiliary circulation lines are used in particular in residential complexes or buildings with one or more residential units in order to prevent water from standing in the supply lines, which are usually many meters long, when the taps of the residential unit are closed.
- the supply lines of the residential units are not usually part of a circulation line and therefore not part of a surrounding water circulation. Rather, the water in the conventional pipes stands still, which can encourage bacteria or legionella to settle if they are not used for a long time.
- Only the hot water supply lines are designed for drinking water circulation, from which the supply lines to each residential unit branch off.
- Such residential complexes or buildings can be apartment buildings, hospitals, hotels, nursing homes or other buildings in which the cable routes to the taps of the residential unit are many meters long.
- a residential unit is understood to mean a room, an apartment or an area of the building in which the water consumption is to be recorded separately. In this respect, each residential unit is assigned its own water meter in order to separately record the amount of water consumed in the residential unit.
- circulation lines for the drinking water in residential complexes of this type, in which the drinking water flows continuously using a pump.
- a circulation line of a building is called “building circulation line” or “main circulation line”.
- a separate drinking water line for each residential unit branches off the main circulation line and supplies the building's taps.
- a first main circulation line is usually provided for supplying the residential units with hot water and a second circulation line for supplying cold water. Tapping points, which are used both for tapping hot water and cold water, are connected to the cold water main circulation line and the hot water main circulation line via separate drinking water lines.
- the main circulation lines allow a nearly constant temperature to be maintained within the line by avoiding stagnant water reservoirs where cold water could heat up and warm water cool down.
- the risk of legionella formation, which is hazardous to health, is reduced with running water in circulation pipes.
- the invention is based on the object of reducing the risk of a health-endangering accumulation and multiplication of bacteria or legionella in a drinking water line of a residential unit.
- the invention is based on the idea of operating the taps on a drinking water circulation line in a residential unit of a residential complex (building) that has one or more residential units, which is referred to here as a "secondary circulation line" in order to allow drinking water circulation in the pipe containing the tap make possible.
- a secondary circulation line in order to allow drinking water circulation in the pipe containing the tap make possible.
- a drinking water line module is created for connection to a secondary circulation line of a residential unit that has at least one tap in a residential complex that has one or more residential units, in order to enable drinking water to circulate in the pipeline containing the tap, in particular without a water meter assigned to the residential unit measuring the circulating water volume recorded.
- the drinking water line module has a first connection for connection to a supply line of the secondary circulation line of the residential unit and a second connection for connection to a continuation line of the secondary circulation line that has the tap.
- the supply line of the secondary circulation line and the outgoing line of the secondary circulation line are each connected to the main circulation line.
- the drinking water line module has a first connection connecting the first connection to the second connection, which supplies the water from the supply line when the tap is open to the line containing the tap and thereby to the tap.
- the drinking water line module also has a further, second line path that connects the first connection of the drinking water line module to the second connection.
- the second line path is also connected to the supply line of the secondary circulation line and is at least partially different from the first line path.
- the drinking water line module is designed to close the second line path when the first line path is traversed when the tap is open, while the second line path is automatically opened when the first line path is not traversed when the tap is closed.
- the first line path of the drinking water line module can be connected to or contain a water meter assigned to the residential unit.
- the tap When the tap is open, the water taken from the supply line flows through the drinking water line module from the first connection via the first line path to the second connection, via which the water is fed to the tap and to the outgoing line.
- the water meter connected to the first line path records the amount of water consumed via the open tap.
- the second line path is then connected to the secondary circulation line upstream of the water meter in the flow direction in order to form a bypass for the water meter and the first line path when the tap is closed, via which flushing water for flushing the secondary circulation line flows when the tap is closed.
- the valve device automatically opens the second line path and blocks the first line path. As a result, the water continues to flow through the secondary circulation line even when the tap is closed. Since the water meter connected to the first line is bypassed by the second line, the water flowing through the second line when the tap is closed is not recorded by the water meter as used water.
- a drinking water pipe system is also provided in a residential complex having at least one residential unit, with at least one of the residential units has a secondary circulation line which has at least one tap and which has two ends which are connected to a main circulation line feeding the residential units.
- the auxiliary circulation line has a drinking water line module of the type described above, in order to allow drinking water circulation in the line containing the tap even when the tap is closed, and in particular without a water meter assigned to the residential unit detecting the amount of water circulating in the auxiliary circulation line.
- the Figs. 1 and 2 each show the drinking water line module 10 with its first connection 27 and its second connection 28. Between the two connections 27, 28 the first, the two connections 27, 28 runs together connecting line path 29.
- a valve device 35 e.g , which is included in the first conduction path 29 and connected to the first terminal 27 .
- a sub-outlet of the valve device 35 is connected to the third port 31 through an inflow pipe for flushing water.
- FIG 3 shows a schematic of a section of the drinking water pipe system 52 of a residential complex 48 designed for cold water supply.
- a base line 59 for the cold water is initially provided in the basement.
- the base line 59 is connected at one end to the domestic water connection 61 and, like the warm water base line 57, is also routed below the basement ceiling 44 to the washing machines 56 shown schematically as tapping points and finally opens out at its end opposite the domestic water connection 61 into the waste water drain 63 of the residential complex 48.
- the end of the cold water main line 59 opposite the domestic water connection 61 is connected to an automatic flushing machine 80, which, controlled automatically by a timer, opens the end of the main line 59 at regular times for a predetermined period of time, thereby ensuring regular flushing allows.
- an automatic flushing machine 80 which, controlled automatically by a timer, opens the end of the main line 59 at regular times for a predetermined period of time, thereby ensuring regular flushing allows.
- FIG. 4 shows an exemplary embodiment in which the continuation of the secondary circulation line 20 for the cold water supply is combined with the continuation of the secondary circulation line 20 for the hot water supply in a connecting flushing valve 100 .
- both the hot water and the cold water are routed past the water meter 40 and continue to circulate, in that the cold water from the secondary circulation line 20 and the hot water from the secondary circulation line 18 via the connecting flushing valve 100 into the downpipe 62 of the main circulation line is returned for hot water and from there, as in the embodiment according to 4 , Comes into the base circulation line 57 for hot water and from there the hot water tank 54 is supplied.
- the inflow cross-sections of the connecting flush valve 100 are designed in such a way that the proportion of cold water in the water that is returned to the hot water tank 54 is just so small that the temperature of the water downstream of the connecting flush valve 100 does not drop below 55° C.
- the drinking water line module 10 has a spring-loaded valve 308 with at least two valve seats 310, 312.
- the first valve seat 310 is designed to close the first line path 29
- the second valve seat 312 is designed to close the second line path 30 .
- the valve 308 is spring-loaded, with a spring 314 urging a valve disc closing the first valve seat 310 against the valve seat 310 while a piston carried on the same piston rod as the valve disc opens the second valve seat 312 .
- the second valve seat 312 is designed as a plurality of openings formed circumferentially in the lateral surface of a valve sleeve 320 . The valve piston slides in the valve sleeve 320 .
- a third valve seat is formed similarly to the second valve seat, preferably also in the form of a plurality of openings formed circumferentially in the lateral surface of the valve sleeve 320.
- the lower piston is located below the piston closing the second valve seat 312 on the same piston rod and is moved synchronously with the upper piston and at a constant distance from the upper piston.
- the third valve seat is also closed when the second valve seat is closed. Accordingly, the third valve seat is opened as soon as the second valve seat is opened.
- the third valve seat creates a connection between the scavenging line 68 and the downcomer 62, 72 into which the scavenging lines 68 of each dwelling unit open.

- the second space is separated from the first space by a flow barrier 326 .
- the second intermediate space is connected via openings in the second valve seat 312 to the flow connection 322, which is designed as an opening in the housing of the drinking water line module 10, and to the continuing line 68, which has the taps 12, 14.
- the water flows from the flow connection 322 into the scavenging line 68 having the taps 12, 14 and flows through and flushes these, although the taps 12, 14 are closed.
- the flushing water flows via the return connection 324 through the outer housing of the drinking water line module into the in Figure 6b shown lower gap between the inner sleeve 320 and the housing of the drinking water line module 10.
- the lower gap is according to the first gap and the second gap Figure 6a trained separately. Since the lower valve seat 314 according to the Figs. 1 and 5 is open, the flushing water flows from the lower intermediate space through the opened lower valve seat 314 into the interior of the inner sleeve 320 and from there into the downpipe 62 or 72 connected to it.
- the drinking water line module 10 has a water-carrying pressure regulator, not shown in the figures, which makes it possible to set a lower pressure in the line 68 containing the taps than in the supply line 66.
- the pressure regulator enables in particular the same pressures in the secondary circulation line 18 or in the line 68 when the taps are open and when the taps are closed.

The invention relates to a drinking water line module for connection to a secondary circulation line having at least one tap of a residential unit in a residential complex having at least one residential unit. Furthermore, the invention relates to a drinking water pipe system in a residential complex having at least one residential unit and a method for producing a drinking water pipe system in a residential complex having at least one residential unit.
Auxiliary circulation lines are used in particular in residential complexes or buildings with one or more residential units in order to prevent water from standing in the supply lines, which are usually many meters long, when the taps of the residential unit are closed. It is known to use circulation lines for the drinking water in residential complexes of this type, in which the drinking water flows continuously using a pump. In the present case, such a circulation line of a building is called "building circulation line" or "main circulation line". A separate drinking water line for each residential unit branches off the main circulation line and supplies the building's taps. A first main circulation line is usually provided for supplying the residential units with hot water and a second circulation line for supplying cold water. Tapping points, which are used both for tapping hot water and cold water, are connected to the cold water main circulation line and the hot water main circulation line via separate drinking water lines.
The main circulation lines allow a nearly constant temperature to be maintained within the line by avoiding stagnant water reservoirs where cold water could heat up and warm water cool down. The risk of legionella formation, which is hazardous to health, is reduced with running water in circulation pipes.
However, no water flows in the drinking water pipes branching off from the main circulation pipes to the taps of each dwelling unit when the taps are closed. Bacteria and legionella can settle and multiply considerably, contaminating the entire drinking water system, particularly in drinking water pipes with a length of more than ten meters, in which a drinking water volume of at least three liters stands for a longer period of time (>72 hours).
Against this background, the invention is based on the object of reducing the risk of a health-endangering accumulation and multiplication of bacteria or legionella in a drinking water line of a residential unit.
The object is achieved according to the invention with the features of the independent claims.
The invention is based on the idea of operating the taps on a drinking water circulation line in a residential unit of a residential complex (building) that has one or more residential units, which is referred to here as a "secondary circulation line" in order to allow drinking water circulation in the pipe containing the tap make possible. This makes it possible to ensure a permanent flow of water in the secondary circulation line, even if no water is drawn from the tap. With the aid of the invention, it is possible to prevent the amount of water flowing in the secondary circulation line from flowing through the water meter of the residential unit when the taps are closed. This is to avoid that the water meter registers the circulating amount of water as consumed drinking water, although no drinking water is taken from the tap.
According to the invention, a drinking water line module is created for connection to a secondary circulation line of a residential unit that has at least one tap in a residential complex that has one or more residential units, in order to enable drinking water to circulate in the pipeline containing the tap, in particular without a water meter assigned to the residential unit measuring the circulating water volume recorded. The drinking water line module has a first connection for connection to a supply line of the secondary circulation line of the residential unit and a second connection for connection to a continuation line of the secondary circulation line that has the tap. The supply line of the secondary circulation line and the outgoing line of the secondary circulation line are each connected to the main circulation line.
The drinking water line module has a first connection connecting the first connection to the second connection, which supplies the water from the supply line when the tap is open to the line containing the tap and thereby to the tap. The drinking water line module also has a further, second line path that connects the first connection of the drinking water line module to the second connection. The second line path is also connected to the supply line of the secondary circulation line and is at least partially different from the first line path.
The drinking water line module is designed to close the second line path when the first line path is traversed when the tap is open, while the second line path is automatically opened when the first line path is not traversed when the tap is closed.
The first line path of the drinking water line module can be connected to or contain a water meter assigned to the residential unit. When the tap is open, the water taken from the supply line flows through the drinking water line module from the first connection via the first line path to the second connection, via which the water is fed to the tap and to the outgoing line. The water meter connected to the first line path records the amount of water consumed via the open tap.
The second line path is then connected to the secondary circulation line upstream of the water meter in the flow direction in order to form a bypass for the water meter and the first line path when the tap is closed, via which flushing water for flushing the secondary circulation line flows when the tap is closed.
As soon as all taps of the secondary circulation line are closed, no more water is transported in the first line. The water in the first line comes to a standstill. Due to the pressure conditions in the supply line and the outgoing line of the secondary circulation line, which can result from the connected main circulation line or a pump contained in the secondary circulation line, the valve device automatically opens the second line path and blocks the first line path. As a result, the water continues to flow through the secondary circulation line even when the tap is closed. Since the water meter connected to the first line is bypassed by the second line, the water flowing through the second line when the tap is closed is not recorded by the water meter as used water.
According to the invention, a drinking water pipe system is also provided in a residential complex having at least one residential unit, with at least one of the residential units has a secondary circulation line which has at least one tap and which has two ends which are connected to a main circulation line feeding the residential units. The auxiliary circulation line has a drinking water line module of the type described above, in order to allow drinking water circulation in the line containing the tap even when the tap is closed, and in particular without a water meter assigned to the residential unit detecting the amount of water circulating in the auxiliary circulation line.

For this purpose, a

Below the
72 und von dort zurück in die Kaltwasserbasisleitung 59 bzw. die Warmwasserbasisleitung 57.The third valve seat creates a connection between the scavenging

The drinking
