Dishwashing baskets for dishwashers in general and moving and lifting mechanisms for such washing baskets in particular are well known per se from the prior art, which is why separate printed evidence is not required at this point. It is therefore only an example of the WO 2019/219433 A1 referred.

A typical design dishwasher has a wash tub that provides wash space. This is accessible to the user via a loading opening which can be closed in a fluid-tight manner by means of a pivotably mounted washing compartment door. When used as intended, the washing container is used to hold items to be cleaned, which can be crockery, cutlery and/or the like, for example.

To load a dishwasher with items to be washed, a item to be washed is generally used, which can be moved through the loading opening, specifically either into or out of the washing compartment, depending on the direction of movement. A dishwasher typically has two or three items to be washed, depending on the design. As a rule, the washing item supports are designed as washing baskets, with a lower basket, an upper basket arranged above it in the height direction of the dishwasher and optionally, according to a typical design a cutlery drawer arranged in the height direction above the upper basket is provided.

According to a common and commercially available kitchen design, a dishwasher is usually arranged in an upright position below a kitchen worktop. As a result, the lower basket is below the knee height of an adult when it is fully loaded or unloaded. The user can therefore only load or unload the lower rack as intended in a bent posture, which is perceived as disadvantageous, particularly when handling bulky and possibly heavy items to be washed, such as are typically placed in the lower rack.

In order to counter this problem, traversing and lifting mechanisms have become known from the prior art which make it possible to raise the lower basket to the level of an upper basket. It is thus possible for the user to load and unload the lower basket in a simplified manner. Such a traversing and lifting mechanism is disclosed, for example, in WO 2019/219433 A1 .

Although traversing and lifting mechanisms known from the state of the art have proven themselves in everyday practical use, there is a need for improvement, in particular with regard to even further simplified handling by the user. It is therefore the object of the invention to improve the construction of a moving and lifting mechanism of the generic type in such a way that simplified handling by the user is made possible.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes a moving and lifting mechanism of the type mentioned at the outset, which is characterized in that the four-bar coupling mechanism is supplemented by a locking link and a coupling link to form a seven-bar coupling mechanism, with the locking link being pivotable on the coupling link at one end and on the other end is arranged pivotably on the coupling link and wherein the coupling link is arranged pivotably on one end on the first link and on the other end pivotably on the locking link, and that means are provided for detachably coupling the operating device and the locking link.

The proposed displacement and lifting mechanism is of importance according to the invention First of all, that a lifting device is provided which, instead of a four-bar linkage, has a seven-bar linkage, with a traversing device being provided in combination with this linkage. On the other hand, it is of essential importance to the invention that means are provided for the detachable coupling of the operating device and the locking link. In this respect, a distinction can be made between a decoupled state of the operating device and lifting device on the one hand and a coupled state of the operating device and lifting device on the other. Advantageously, the user can either move the washing compartment or lift it. It is possible to move the washing container when the operating device and lifting device are not coupled, whereas the washing container can be raised when the operating device and the lifting device are coupled to one another.

In contrast to a previously known four-bar linkage, the seven-bar linkage provided according to the invention is supplemented by two links, namely the locking link on the one hand and the coupling link on the other. In this case, the locking link and the coupling link are pivotably connected to one another and, in addition, the locking link is arranged on the coupling member and the coupling link on the first link in each case in a pivotable manner.

This configuration according to the invention, in combination with the possibility of being able to detachably couple the operating device and locking link to one another, provides numerous advantages which, as a result, enable simplified handling by the user.

The dishwasher has at least one washing basket. As is usually the case, it can in particular have a number of washing baskets, for example at least one lower basket and an upper basket above it.

According to the invention, a dishwashing rack, such as a lower rack, can assume two positions of use at the discretion of the user. The washing basket can thus be moved by the user by means of the displacement device from its non-use position in the washing compartment into a first use position moved out of the washing compartment. Such a movement is made possible when the operating device and locking link are in a decoupled position. The lifting device remains unused in this case of use.

As soon as the operating device and the locking link are detachably coupled to one another by the user using the means provided for this purpose, the lifting device is activated, which allows the washing rack, in particular the lower rack, to be lifted out of the washing container, preferably to the height of a washing rack located above it hereinafter referred to as the upper basket. In this position, the washing basket, in particular the lower basket, is in its second position of use. The washing basket is arranged above the open washing compartment door both in the first and in the second position of use, so that any liquids or dirt dripping from the washing basket or items to be washed accommodated in the washing basket are caught by the open washing compartment door on the inside of the door.

The advantage of the construction according to the invention is therefore, among other things, that the washing rack can be pulled out of the washing compartment like a conventional washing rack, but at the same time there is also the possibility of being able to raise the washing rack, in particular the lower rack, to the level of an upper rack. The fact that both the possibility of full extension and lifting is enabled has the advantage that the washing compartment floor provided by the washing compartment is accessible in a simplified manner, namely when the washing basket is only in the extended position but not in the raised position . Conventional four-bar linkages cannot distinguish between these two positions of use, so that the prior art washing basket is either in its non-use position or in its raised position of use. In both cases, however, the washroom floor is difficult or impossible to access.

The accessibility of the floor of the washing compartment for the user is particularly important in order to be able to reach the salt refill opening that is typically located here.

Furthermore, the distinction between lifting and pulling out is advantageous when a user wants to place more than just items to be washed in the dishwasher. If the washing rack, in particular the lower rack, can only be swiveled upwards in accordance with the state of the art, it is necessary for the other washing racks to be loaded as intended, to swivel the swiveled-up washing rack, in particular the lower rack, down again each time before access to the other washing baskets is possible. This is perceived as cumbersome by the user. A remedy brings here in the manner already described design according to the invention, since it makes it possible to distinguish between two positions of use, namely the fully extended position on the one hand and the raised position on the other.

The operation of the washing basket can be carried out intuitively by the user in a simple manner by means of the operating device provided by the washing basket and arranged pivotably on the washing basket. Because either the user pulls on the operating device with the aim of moving the washing basket out of the washing container in a conventional manner, or the operating device is rotated by the user thanks to its pivotable arrangement and pivoted upwards in the height direction, which then automatically results in a detachable coupling of the operating device and locking handlebars with the result that raising of the washing basket takes place. Consequently, user-side operation can take place in a simple manner, which is self-explanatory and intuitive and, depending on the desired position of use of the dishwashing basket, enables automatic coupling or decoupling of the operating device and locking link, ie lifting device.

Furthermore, the configuration according to the invention provides the advantage of an end position locking in the raised, ie second position of use of the washing basket. Unintentional sagging of the washing basket is thereby avoided and it is ensured that the user must first unlock it before the washing basket can be pivoted back into the first position of use.

The construction according to the invention is also simple in construction and therefore robust, less susceptible to failure and durable.

Overall, the invention proposes a simple and cost-effective mechanism which, in order to simplify handling of a washing basket, makes it possible in particular to distinguish between two positions of use, namely a fully extended, first position of use and a pivoted-up, second position of use.

According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the rail device has a top rail, a middle rail and a body rail, with the top rail being displaceable on the middle rail and the middle rail are slidably arranged on the cabinet rail, wherein the upper rail is arranged on the washing basket and wherein the coupling member is arranged on the cabinet rail.

The rail device has three individual rails that are arranged telescopically, namely a top rail, a middle rail and a body rail. The upper rail can be moved in relation to the middle rail and the middle rail can be moved in relation to the carcass rail, which results in the overall telescoping capability of the rail device. The rail device thus makes it possible to move the washing basket from its non-use position, in which the washing basket is located in the washing compartment, into its first use position, in which the washing basket is moved out of the washing compartment.

If the washing basket is moved out of the washing compartment, the operating device is not coupled to the locking link of the lifting device, so that the lifting device remains unused overall. A purely translatory displacement movement of the washing basket takes place thanks to the rail device.

According to the invention, it is also provided in this connection that the upper rail is arranged on the washing basket, with the coupling element of the seven-bar linkage mechanism according to the invention being located on the carcass rail. In the case of lifting, therefore, the washing basket is raised with the rail device arranged in between.

According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the means for detachable coupling have a locking pawl which is arranged on the locking handlebar so that it can rotate and which provides a receiving pin. In the event that the washing basket is to be raised by the user, this receiving pin is used to couple the washing basket to the lifting device, in particular to couple the operating device and the locking link. For this purpose it is provided according to a further feature of the invention that the means for releasable coupling have a receptacle provided by the washing rack, namely by the operating device pivotably arranged on the washing rack, which cooperates with the receiving pin of the pawl. In the event that the user wishes to lift the washing basket, the receiving pin of the lifting device provided by the pawl engages in a correspondingly designed receptacle of the operating device. This engagement of the spigot in the associated recording is done automatically in that the Rinsing basket is raised as a result of a user twisting and lifting movement of the operating device, so that the receptacle of the rinsing basket or the operating device captures the spigot. During a purely translational displacement movement of the washing basket for transfer to the first position of use, the washing basket is not raised such that the holder on the washing basket or operating device side is guided past the locating pin, as a result of which there is no coupling of the holder and locating pin.

The construction according to the invention thus advantageously enables automatic coupling of the operating device and locking link as a result of intuitive operation of the operating device by a user.

According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the means for detachable coupling have a bearing pin arranged on the locking link. In the case of lifting, this bearing journal defines the axis of rotation around which the lifting device pivots for lifting the washing basket. According to a further feature of the invention, the bearing pin interacts with a further receptacle provided by the washing basket, namely also by the operating device pivotably arranged on the washing basket, into which the bearing pin engages when lifting as intended. When the washing basket is raised as intended, the mounting pin engages in a first mounting on the washing basket or operating device side and the bearing pin engages in a second mounting on the washing basket or operating device side. As soon as the pins are completely immersed in their respective receptacle, the washing basket and lifting device are coupled, in particular the operating device and locking link are coupled, for lifting the washing basket as intended. The two pins each take on an additional function at the moment of coupling.

The receiving pin is arranged on a pawl, which in turn is arranged pivotably on the locking handlebar. If the receiving pin is carried along by the associated receptacle on the washing basket or operating device side, this leads to the locking pawl rotating, as a result of which a locking device that blocks the lifting device is released. The retraction of the spigot into the associated receptacle therefore not only causes a coupling, but also releases the locking of the lifting device, so that lifting the washing basket is possible in the first place.

The bearing pin that comes to rest in the second receptacle when coupled ensures that the axes of rotation of the locking link and those of the operating device are superimposed, i.e. congruent, so that the washing basket can be lifted without a link guide, thus avoiding frictional forces that would otherwise arise. This ensures that no relative movement takes place between the locking link and the operating device during the lifting movement. It is advantageous in that when the locking link and operating device are coupled, the respective axes of rotation are superimposed.

According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the washing basket, namely the operating device arranged pivotably on the washing basket, has a guide rail on the locking link side. This guide rail ensures that the moment the operator pivots the operating device for the purpose of lifting the washing basket, the washing basket or the operating device is not lifted too far, so that the locating pin can safely dip into the associated receptacle in the manner already described. Incorrect operation by the user to the extent that the dishwashing basket with its mount is lifted over the associated mounting pin is thus reliably ruled out.

According to a further feature of the invention, the guide rail interacts with a stop bolt arranged on the locking link. In the case of operation, the washing basket can therefore be raised by the user until the guide rail on the washing basket or operating device side rests against the stop bolt on the locking link side. In this position of the washing basket, if the user continues to move the washing basket, the receiving pin can safely move into the associated receptacle.

According to a further feature of the invention, the pawl has a locking bolt. This locking pin ensures that the lifting device is locked so that the lifting device is blocked if it is operated improperly. For this purpose, according to a further feature of the invention, the coupling element has an abutment which interacts with the locking bolt. This can be provided, for example, by a locking tooth of the coupling member. The locking pin rests against this locking tooth when the washing basket is in its non-use position. The lifting device is then locked, allowing lifting of the washing basket is not possible.

If the rinsing basket is moved exclusively in a translatory manner, i.e. transferred to its first position of use, the locking pin remains in its position resting against the locking tooth. The lifting device is therefore still locked, which prevents the washing basket from being lifted out of the first position of use. In this respect, incorrect operation is definitely excluded.

Only if the user wishes to lift the washing basket from the non-use position and the operating device is therefore pivoted while the washing basket is being moved at the same time, will the washing basket be raised in such a way that, in the manner already described, the receiving pin provided by the pawl can be inserted into the associated receptacle on the washing basket, especially on the operating device. As a result, a pivoting movement of the pawl also takes place, with the result that the locking pin provided by the pawl moves out of its latched position on the coupling member, so that the locking of the lifting device is released, with the consequence that the washing basket can be lifted by means of the lifting device.

According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the locking link has a receptacle for the locking bolt that provides an end stop. Over-tightening of the pawl is thus avoided. In the raised, ie second position of use of the dishwashing basket, the pawl is therefore held in a secure position by the locking link, specifically in that the locking bolt of the pawl rests against the end stop of the locking link.

The invention also proposes a dishwasher with a washing compartment that provides a washing compartment and a washing basket that can be moved by the washing compartment, a moving and lifting mechanism of the type according to the invention being provided for the washing basket. A dishwasher equipped in this way provides the advantages already explained above.

To transfer the rinsing basket 5 from the non-use position to 1 in the first position of use according to 4 or in the second position of use 7 is used by the displacement and lifting mechanism 7 provided according to the invention. The displacement and lifting mechanism 7 has a lifting device 8 on the one hand and a displacement device 19 on the other, as is shown in particular in FIG figure 5 reveals. To transfer the rinsing basket 5 from the non-use position to 1 to the first position of use 4 serves the traversing device 19. The lifting device 8 is used, however, after the washing basket 5 from the non-use position 1 to the second position of use 7 to transfer.

As already mentioned above based on figure 5 explained, two displacement and lifting mechanisms 7 are provided for each washing basket 5, namely a left-hand and a right-hand displacement and lifting mechanism 7. For the sake of simplicity, only one of the two displacement and lifting mechanisms 7 is referred to below.

As can be seen in particular from a synopsis of the Figures 3 and 6 results, the traversing device 19 has a rail device 20. A rail device 20 has in turn a total of three rails that are telescopic to each other. Specifically, an upper rail 27, a middle rail 28 and a body rail 29 are provided, the upper rail 27 being arranged on the middle rail 28 so that they can be moved in relation to the middle rail 28 and the middle rail 28 being arranged on the body rail 29 so that they can be moved in relation to the body rail 29.

The lifting device 8 has a seven-jointed linkage 18, the structure of which can be seen in particular from the illustration 3 results.

The coupling mechanism 18 has a coupling element 10 arranged on the rail device 20 of the washing basket 5. A base element 11 fixed on the washing container side is also provided. This is, for example, arranged in a secure position on the inside of the washing compartment on the associated washing compartment wall.

Furthermore, two links 12 and 13 are provided, both links 12, 13 being pivotably arranged at one end on the base member 11 on the one hand and at the other end on the coupling member 10 on the other hand. The first link 12 with the base member 11 and the coupling member 10 form the pivot points 14 and 16 and the second link 13 with the base member 11 and the coupling member 10 form the pivot points 15 and 17 .

The coupling member 10, the base member 11, the first link 12 and the second link 13 together form a four-bar linkage 9 known from the prior art as a lifting device.

The lifting device 8 according to the invention is characterized in that the four-bar linkage 9 to a locking link 22 and a coupling link 23 to a seven-jointed coupling mechanism 18, the locking link 22 being arranged on one end to be pivotable on the coupling link 10 and the other end to be pivotable on the coupling link 23, and the coupling link 23 being arranged on one end to be pivotable on the first link 12 and the other end to be pivotable on the locking link 22. The locking link 22 is therefore arranged on the coupling member 10 such that it can pivot about the pivot point 26 , and the coupling link 23 is arranged on the first link 12 such that it can pivot about the pivot point 24 . The locking link 22 and the coupling link 23 also form the common pivot point 25 . Overall, a seven-bar linkage 18 with the pivot points 14, 15, 16, 17, 24, 25 and 26 is provided.

The others Figures 10 to 54 show the functioning of the moving and lifting mechanism 7 according to the invention in different views in detail.

For the user to move or lift the washing basket 5 , the washing basket 5 has an operating device 21 which is arranged pivotably on the washing basket 5 . This is shown in a schematic perspective view in 10 shown.

The axis of the bearing pin 35 is at the same time the axis of rotation of the entire assembly of the operating device 21 relative to the body rail 29. Since the locking link 22 and the pawl 30 perform a vertical movement around the pivot point or the axis of rotation of the bearing pin 35 at the beginning of a lifting movement relative to the locking tooth 39 , this movement is only possible if the pawl 23 or the locking bolt 33 provided by it is rotated forwards to the end stop 37 . This emerges from a synopsis of the Figures 18 to 21 .

Shown in three different positions in the Figures 19, 20 and 21 are each the four functional elements locating pin 32, stop bolt 34, guide rail 47 and the spülkorb- or operating device-side receptacle 40. There are in the Figures 19, 20 and 21 the three positions into which the operator can transfer the moving and lifting mechanism 7 by simply pulling on the operating device 21 are shown.

As in particular from the representation 10 As can be seen, the receptacle 40 for the locating pin 32 is arranged below the guide rail 47 in the vertical direction 49 . This is also evident from the representation, for example 19 . Because of this arrangement, it is possible to move the washing basket 5 out of the washing compartment 1 by means of the moving device 19 without the locating pin 32 entering the mount 40 . It is thus possible for the washing basket 5 to be pulled out completely without lifting the washing basket 5 . This shows in particular 19 . The receiving pin 32 is located below the guide rail 47 when it is moved in the direction of the arrow and can therefore not engage in the receptacle 40. If the washing basket 5 is to be raised by the user, he intuitively pulls the operating device 21 upwards, as shown in FIG 20 indicated by the arrow. As a result of this lifting, the washing basket 5 moves upwards in the vertical direction 49 until the guide rail 47 comes to rest on the stop pin 34 .

At the same time or subsequently, the washing basket 5 is pulled out of the washing compartment 1 by the user, as indicated by the arrow 21 hints. This further pulling on the operating device 21 guides the guide rail 47 above the locating pin 32 . By pulling out the washing basket 5 further, the receiving pin 32 now snaps into the receptacle 40 in the further course of the movement. This rotates the pawl 30 forward from the locked position until it stops. The lifting mechanism 8 is now unlocked and the washing basket 5 can be lifted. From the Figures 22 to 25 it can be seen that the stop bolt 34 is located above the guide rail 47 when the washing basket 5 is in the pushed-in position. However, this ends before the receiving pin 32, so that the washing basket 5 can be pulled up by means of the operating device 21 until the guide rail 47 comes to rest on the stop pin 34, as in particular 25 recognizable.

The receptacle 41 is arranged on the operating device 21 and can therefore be rotated in relation to the washing basket 5 . When the operating device 21 is in the lowered position, the bearing surfaces of the receptacle 41 are aligned horizontally, as in FIG 29 recognizable. In this position, the receptacle 41 can be moved past the associated bearing pin 35 . If the operating device 21 is rotated, as in 31 shown, the axes of the bearing pin 35 and those of the operating device 21 are coincident with one another, and in this position the rotated receptacle 41 blocks a displacement movement in both directions.

According to the Figures 32 to 35 the receiving pin 32 arranged on the pawl 30 has snapped into the receptacle 40 on the washing basket or operating device side. However, the pawl is still locked. The lifting device cannot be moved yet. The receptacle 41 for the bearing journal 35 and the axis of rotation of the operating device 21 are not yet coincident with one another, as in particular Figure 35 reveals.

By further raising the washing basket 5 according to the Figures 36 to 38 the pawl 30 is pulled into its end position. As a result, the lifting device 8 is unlocked. At the same time, the receptacle 41 for the bearing pin 35 slips over the bearing pin 35 and the axes of rotation of the operating device 21 and the locking link 22 are coincident with one another. Both are now connected to each other.

Like the others Figures 40 to 50 can be seen, blocks the receptacle 41 for the bearing pin 35 a horizontal extension movement of the washing basket 5 in relation to the lifting device 8 as soon as the lifting device 8 is slightly twisted. At the same time it is not more possible for the pawl 30 to move back to its locked position once the operating device 21 is coupled to the locking handlebar 22 .

The Figures 48 to 50 show the locked end position in the raised position of the washing basket 5, in which it can be loaded and unloaded. The lifting device 8 is reached by an over-center position between the coupling link 10 and the operating device 21 . In the over-center position, the locking link 22 is rotated further due to the own weight of the washing basket 5 until it comes to rest on the stop 48 .

How Figure 52 shows by means of the arrows drawn in, increased frictional forces between the guide rail 47 and the receiving pin 32 can lead to unwanted unlocking before the operating device 21 and the locking link 22 are coupled to one another. This problem can arise in particular when the washing basket 5 is pulled out of the washing container 1 by the user without wanting to actuate the lifting device 8 . Thus, if the user pulls hard on the operating device 21, a high sliding friction force can arise on the receiving pin 32, as a result of which the latter is then rotated in the direction of its unlocked position. The same could also be the case if the guide rail 47 is located above the locating pin 32 and the operating device 21 is pressed down about the pivot point 50, i.e. if the washing rack 5 is to be raised by the user, but the operating device 21 and the locking link 22 are still to be lifted are not coupled.

To counteract this problem, in accordance with the Figures 53 and 54 the receiving pin 32 may be formed deviating from the circular shape. The deviating contact points of guide rail 47 and locating pin 32 above and below always cause a torque in the direction of the locked position due to the illustrated contour of locating pin 32, since the line of action of the resulting force when the operating device 21 is pressed down is in relation to the plane of the drawing Figures 53 and 54 left of the fulcrum of the pawl 30 and vice versa when pulling to the right of the fulcrum. This can prevent unintentional unlocking.

As can be seen from the above explanation, the solution according to the invention enables the washing basket 5 to be pulled out fully in the non-raised position to above the Inner door panel provided on the inside of the washroom door. The advantages lie in the flexibility when loading the dishwasher by the user while the salt container lid is accessible.

In addition, the proposed mechanism is relatively simple in design and therefore inexpensive.

Another advantage is that raising and lowering is much more comfortable due to the reduced actuating forces. High forces are transmitted during a lifting movement and no connecting link or the like is required, since the axes of rotation of the operating device 21 and the locking link 22 lie one above the other.
