Description

DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION
TITRE DE L’INVENTION : BOITIER POUR BATTERIE DE VEHICULE TITLE OF THE INVENTION: BOX FOR VEHICLE BATTERY
La présente invention revendique la priorité de la demande française 1911985 déposée le 25.10.2019 dont le contenu (texte, dessins et revendications) est ici incorporé par référence The present invention claims the priority of the French application 1911985 filed on 25.10.2019, the content of which (text, drawings and claims) is incorporated here by reference.
The invention relates to a vehicle battery case comprising a cover and a panel. The housing according to the invention is intended more particularly for hybrid or electric motor vehicles.
It is known from the state of the art that electric batteries fitted to vehicles, in particular automobiles, tend to produce heat which it is necessary to remove in order to prevent any risk of damage to the parts surrounding such batteries. electric. In general, electric or hybrid vehicles include batteries having a greater capacity for storing electrical energy than motor vehicles running, in particular, on gasoline or diesel. The batteries fitted to such vehicles thus produce more heat. An air blower is then added making it possible to circulate a flow of fresh air whose role is to cool them. The major disadvantage of an air blower is that it makes a loud noise. A cover has thus been proposed in the prior art which makes it possible to attenuate its acoustic disturbances. Such a cover is described in patent application EP 1 153 803 A1. One can see in Figure 9 of this patent application, the cover 119 disposed in a part of the air inlet chamber 106. The cover 119 not only serves as a sound-absorbing plate to reduce the operating noise of the blower. air 31, but also protective to reduce the amount of foreign matter introduced into the air sleeve 110 of the air blower 31. Further, as can be seen in Figure 3, the battery unit 24 is arranged in a battery case 30 consisting of a lower case 26 and an upper case 28. Such a configuration allows air to circulate in a battery pack 10 comprising an air intake duct 34 and an air exhaust duct 38 and thus cool the battery unit 24.
The main drawbacks of state-of-the-art battery boxes are the complexity of assembly and disassembly, the increase in the weight carried by vehicles and, consequently, the increase in their energy consumption. Indeed, these boxes include many parts to be assembled and have significant masses compared to the other components of a vehicle.
The aim of the invention is therefore to overcome the drawbacks of the prior art by providing a vehicle battery housing that is simpler to assemble and disassemble and also lighter.
To do this, the invention thus relates, in its broadest sense, to a housing for a vehicle battery comprising a cover and a panel intended to be placed on a substantially flat surface of said vehicle surrounding said battery, said cover comprising a top wall, a first side wall linked to said top wall and a second side wall linked to said top wall, characterized in that said first side wall has a first bottom edge, said housing further comprising at least one quarter turn fastener comprising a male element integral with said cover and a female element integral with said panel, said cover further comprising at least partially on an interior surface a metal foil capable of reducing the effects of an electromagnetic field produced by an electrical circuit connected to said battery, said panel further comprising a cavity accommodating said first bottom edge.
Thanks to the system according to the invention, the vehicle has a lower on-board weight and the operations for mounting and removing the battery box are simpler. In fact, the cover has the advantage of reducing the effects of an electromagnetic field generated by an electric circuit while being light, thanks to a thin metal sheet placed on its inner surface. The cover can thus be made of a material having a low mass volumic, such as plastic. In addition, the thickness of the metal foil can, for example, be between 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm in order to optimize the mass.
Advantageously, said metal foil is made of an aluminum alloy.
Thus, the battery box is lightened and consequently the energy consumption of said vehicle is reduced.
Preferably, said metal foil covers only an inner face of said upper wall. Preferably, said metal sheet covers almost, or even completely, said interior surface.
In a preferred aspect, the angle that said first side wall makes with said top wall is greater than the angle that said second side wall makes with said top wall. Advantageously, the angle that said first side wall makes with said top wall is about 110 ° and the angle that said second side wall makes with said top wall is about 105 °.
Preferably, said cavity is formed by a first inner edge of said panel and by a tab disposed parallel to said first inner edge.
On décrira ci-après, à titre d’exemples non limitatifs, des formes d’exécution de la présente invention, en référence à la figure annexée sur laquelle : The invention also relates to a vehicle battery covered by a housing, said battery comprising an upper surface, said cover being configured so as to create a distance between an inner face of said upper wall and said upper surface. The present invention further relates to a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, comprising a battery and further comprising a housing placed on a substantially flat surface of said vehicle, said housing covering said battery. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below, by way of nonlimiting examples, with reference to the appended figure in which:
[Fig.1] schematically illustrates a battery case according to one embodiment of the invention. With reference to FIG. 1, there is shown schematically a housing 1 for a battery placed on a substantially flat surface 50 of a motor vehicle (not shown), in particular hybrid or electric, in order to cover an electric battery 6. The substantially flat surface can be, for example, the floor 2 of said vehicle. In the description of the present invention, it should be understood that the terms “substantially flat surface mean that the surface is generally flat, but it can nevertheless locally include hollow or protruding zones. The housing 1 comprises a cover 3 and a panel 40 comprising an interior opening 41. The housing 1 further comprises a quarter-turn fastener 5. The male and female elements of the quarter-turn fastener 5 are respectively secured to said cover 3 and to said cover. panel 40. In one embodiment of the invention, panel 40 is a floor covering, such as a carpet. The cover 3 is made of a plastic material. Thus, the cover 3 is light and simple to manufacture. The cover 3 comprises a top wall 30, substantially planar, a first side wall 31 and a second side wall 32, also substantially planar. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the angle that said first side wall 31 makes with said top wall 30 is greater than the angle that said second side wall 32 makes with said top wall 30. In one embodiment, Specific embodiment, the first side wall 31 has an angle of approximately 110 ° relative to said top wall 30 and the second side wall 32 has an angle of approximately 105 ° relative to said top wall 30. When the housing 1 is arranged under the driver's or passenger's seat of said vehicle, this configuration has the advantage of setting back the cover 3 with respect to said seat and, thus, of making it less visible. FIG. 1 also shows an air blower 7 configured to produce an air flow intended to cool said battery 6. The upper wall 30 of the cover 3 comprises an outer face 33 and an inner face 34. The cover 3 is configured so that said air flow can circulate between said interior face 34 and the upper face 61 of said battery 6. To do this, the interior face 34 is distant from the upper face 61. A blade is thus created. thin air. In a particular embodiment, the thickness of said air space, or the distance between said inner face 34 and said upper face 61 is between 5 mm and 10 mm. The configuration of the cover 3 thus makes it possible to reduce the noise pollution generated by said air blower 7. The comfort of the driver or passengers of said motor vehicle is thus improved. Furthermore, the cover 3 comprises an inner surface 36 comprising a metal foil 35, for example, of aluminum. In a particular embodiment, the metal foil 35 covers almost entirely, or even completely, the inner surface 36 of said cover 3. In an alternative embodiment, the metal foil 35 covers only the inner face 34, in its entirety or partially, and / or the inner face 37 of the first side wall 31, in its entirety or in part, and / or the inner face 38 of the second side wall 32, in its entirety or in part. In a particular embodiment, the metal foil has a thickness of between 0.6 and 0.8 mm. It is secured to the cover 3, for example, by gluing or any other fixing means allowing a durable hold of the metal sheet on its substrate. It has the advantage of reducing, or even eliminating, the effects of the electromagnetic field generated by the electrical circuit surrounding the battery 6 or by the battery 6 itself. The panel 40 further comprises a cavity 43 configured to receive a first bottom edge 39 of said cover 3 arranged in the extension of said first side wall 31. The cavity 43 is formed by a first inner edge 42 of the inner opening 41 and a tab 44 disposed substantially parallel to said first inner edge 42. The panel 40 also includes a second inner edge 45. In a particular embodiment, the female element of the quarter-turn binding 5 is integral with said second inner edge 45. The cavity 43 and the quarter-turn binding 5 allow simplified assembly and disassembly of the cover 3. In fact, during assembly, the first is slid off. low edge 39 in said cavity 43 and the quarter-turn fastener 5 is then turned in order to fix the cover 3 with respect to the panel 40. When dismantling, the quarter-turn fastener 5 is turned in the opposite direction and then comes removing the first bottom edge 39 of said cavity 43. In another embodiment, said panel 40 has two parts. A first part comprises the cavity 43 and a second part comprising the female part of said quarter-turn binding 5.
