Abstract

Une cartouche, en particulier une cartouche jetable, destinée à être utilisée dans un système de traitement d'échantillon par électromouillage. La cartouche comprend un orifice d'entrée de liquide (19') pour introduire un liquide d'entrée dans un espace interne de la cartouche, le liquide d'entrée fournissant au moins une gouttelette (23), directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'un processus de séparation de liquide à l'intérieur de l'espace interne, et l'espace interne comprenant au moins une surface hydrophobe, au moins une zone de traitement (78) pour traiter des échantillons (80) situés dans la zone de traitement (78), et une zone de distribution (74) pour délivrer la ou les gouttelettes (23) de l'orifice d'entrée de liquide (19') à la ou aux zones de traitement (78). La zone de distribution (74) est configurée pour fournir un motif répétitif d'une force d'électromouillage interagissant pour transporter simultanément la ou les gouttelettes (23) à l'intérieur de la zone de distribution (74).
