Abstract
Description
- This patent application claims priority from
Italian patent application no. 102020000022213 filed on September 21, 2020 - The invention relates to a hydraulic tank.
- In particular, the invention relates to an underground or outdoor hydraulic tank comprising a side wall, which has a tubular shape, extends around a longitudinal axis of the hydraulic tank and is axially closed by means of two closing elements arranged on opposite sides of the side wall.
- The side wall is delimited by an outer surface and by an inner surface and has a plurality of annular slots, which are obtained in the outer surface, are distributed along the side wall and are substantially coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the hydraulic tank.
- Known hydraulic tanks of the type described above, despite being largely established, suffer from some drawbacks, which are mainly due to the fact that the side wall has a relatively large thickness, a relatively low axial compressive strength as well as a relatively low resistance to bending.
- The object of the invention is to provide a hydraulic tank that is not affected by the aforementioned drawbacks and can be manufactured in a simple and economic fashion.
- According to the invention, there is provided a hydraulic tank as claimed in the appended claims.
- The invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, showing a non-limiting embodiment thereof, wherein:
-
figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the hydraulic tank according to the invention; -
figure 2 is a schematic perspective view of a detail of the hydraulic tank offigure 1 ; and -
figure 3 is a schematic perspective view of a variant of the hydraulic tank offigure 1 . - With reference to
figures 1 and2 , number 1 indicates, as a whole, a hydraulic tank, specifically an underground hydraulic tank, for example for rainwater or wastewater. - The tank 1 has a substantially horizontal longitudinal axis 2, comprises a
central element 3 with a cylindrical shape and is further provided with twoclosing elements 4, which are mounted on opposite sides of theelement 3 and are shaped like a cup, with the concavity facing theelement 3. - Each
element tubular side wall 5, which extends around the axis 2, is delimited by anouter surface 6 and by an inner surface 7 (figure 2 ) and has a plurality ofslots 8, which are obtained on theouter surface 6. - At least part of the
slots 8 have a hexagonal shape and are aligned with one another according to at least one row ofslots 8 parallel to the axis 2, specifically according to at least two rows ofslots 8 parallel to the axis 2. - Each
slot 8 is delimited by abottom wall 9 and by sixside faces 10, each inclined at an angle other than 90°, preferably ranging from 100° to 175°, relative to thewall 9. - The distance between the
wall 9 of eachslot 8 and theouter surface 6 of thewall 5 ranges from 0.5 mm to 100 mm. - Each
slot 8 of a row ofslots 8 projects between twoslots 8 of the other row ofslots 8. - The
wall 5 further has a plurality ofprojections 11, which are obtained on theinner surface 7 in the area of theslots 8 and have a hexagonal shape corresponding to the hexagonal shape of theslots 8. - Each
element 4 has at least one access opening 12, which allows access to the tank 1 and is obtained through therelative wall 5. - The tank 1 has some advantages, which are mainly due to the fact that the
side wall 5 has a relatively small thickness, a relatively high axial compressive strength as well as a relatively high resistance to bending. - The variant shown in
figure 3 relates to ahydraulic tank 13, specifically an outdoor hydraulic tank. - The
tank 13 has a substantially verticallongitudinal axis 14, is delimited by abottom wall 15 and by anupper wall 16, which are substantially flat and perpendicular to theaxis 14, and is further delimited by a substantiallycylindrical side wall 17, which is coaxial to theaxis 14. - The
wall 17 is delimited by anouter surface 18 and by an inner surface (not shown) and has a plurality ofslots 19, which are obtained on theouter surface 18. - At least part of the
slots 19 have a hexagonal shape and are aligned with one another according to a plurality of rows ofslots 19 parallel to theaxis 14. - Each
slot 19 is delimited by abottom wall 20 and by sixside faces 21, each inclined at an angle other than 90°, preferably ranging from 100° to 175°, relative to thewall 20. - The distance between the
wall 20 of eachslot 19 and theouter surface 18 of thewall 17 ranges from 0.5 mm to 100 mm. - The
wall 17 further has a plurality of projections (not shown), which are obtained on the inner surface (not shown) of thewall 17 in the area of theslots 19 and have a hexagonal shape corresponding to the hexagonal shape of theslots 19. - The
wall 16 has an access opening 22 allowing access to thetank 13.
