Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Matratze, die eine Unterlage und ein Kopfstützelement aufweist, wobei das Kopfstützelement beweglich an der Unterlage befestigt ist. Seit mehreren Jahrzehnten besteht die Empfehlung von Weltgesundheitsorganisation und Ärzteverbänden zur Rückenlagerung unbeobachteter Säuglinge. Diese Rückenlagerung hat den Sinn, dem plötzlichen Kindstod entgegenzuwirken, der eine der häufigsten Todesursachen für Neugeborene in westlichen Industrienationen darstellt.
