Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Bild/Symboldarstellungseinrichtung beschrieben. Hierzu werden eine Schablonenbasis und ein Datensatz für das darzustellende Bild/Symbol bereitgestellt, und mithilfe eines Plotters und dem Datensatz wird ein Freiraum für das darzustellende Bild/Symbol erzeugt. Die hergestellte Schablone wird auf die Rückseite eines Spiegels geklebt, und der durch die Schablone festgelegte Freiraum der Spiegelrückseitenfläche wird sandgestrahlt oder freigewischt. Ferner wird eine durchsichtige Paste auf den sandgestrahlten oder freigewischten Freiraum aufgebracht, die mit einer Tinte zur Herstellung des darzustellenden Bildes/Symboles bedruckt wird. Mit diesem Verfahren lassen sich besonders dekorative optische Effekte erzielen.

A method of manufacturing an image/icon display device is described. Furthermore, a transparent paste is applied to the sandblasted or wiped free space, which is printed with an ink to produce the image/symbol to be displayed. With this method, particularly decorative optical effects can be achieved.
