Such a hot water heat pump with a heat pump unit and a hot water storage unit separated from it by a partition wall is known from the prior art. The heat pump unit has a volute housing arranged inside a cover on the partition wall for accommodating an air blower, on which an evaporator is arranged. In order to ensure an airtight arrangement of the evaporator on the spiral housing, a web-like projection is formed on the spiral housing or is formed integrally with it. The evaporator is mounted between this web-like projection and the partition. Here, the evaporator is supported on the web-like projection of the volute, so that a predetermined alignment position of the volute is determined by this during assembly.
The present invention relates to a hot water heat pump having a heat pump unit and a hot water storage unit, wherein the hot water storage unit has a hot water tank in which water heated by the heat pump unit is stored. Associated with the heat pump unit is a cover and a partition enclosing the heat pump unit in an airtight manner, the partition separating the heat pump unit from the hot water storage unit, and the heat pump unit having a volute housing disposed within the cover for accommodating an air blower. The volute and bulkhead are configured to allow assembly of the volute within the cover in at least first and second orientation positions.
The present invention thus makes it possible to provide a hot water heat pump with a heat pump unit in which four different installation variants for associated air inlet/air outlet line arrangements can be implemented by installing the spiral housing in the first or second alignment position. Due to the at least extensive minimization of the pressure loss, a reduction in the rotational frequency of the air fan accommodated in the volute housing, which is required during operation of the heat pump unit, can advantageously be made possible. Thus, associated power consumption and corresponding noise generation of the air blower can be reduced.
Preferably, the volute has an air outlet opening, which in the first orientation position of the volute allows an air flow in a first direction of flow, and in the second orientation position of the volute allows an air flow in a second direction of flow, the first and second directions of flow being at a predetermined angle to one another are arranged, preferably at a 90 ° angle.
In this way, four different assembly variants for associated air inlet/air outlet line arrangements can be implemented in a simple manner.

A stable and robust error prevention system can thus be provided, in which the corresponding error prevention components, ie the pins and receptacles, are advantageously designed to form form-fitting connections and can be designed in particular in the manner of fitted or molded pieces that connect the spiral housing to the partition associate.
According to one embodiment, the cover and the partition wall form a mounting frame in which an evaporator is arranged in an airtight manner.
By designing a mounting frame for the evaporator using the cover and the partition wall, the provision of a web-like projection molded onto the volute housing for supporting the evaporator can advantageously be dispensed with.

Bevorzugt liegt das Spiralgehäuse zumindest bereichsweise gegen den Montagerahmen an.The volute housing preferably bears against the mounting frame at least in certain areas.
A compact design of the heat pump unit can thereby be made possible.
According to one embodiment, the evaporator is arranged at least in some areas on a conical air inlet area of the spiral housing.
A comparatively high degree of efficiency of the evaporator can thus be achieved in a simple manner.
In addition, the present invention relates to a heat pump unit for a hot water heat pump according to the invention, with a cover and a partition wall which enclose the heat pump unit in an airtight manner, with a volute housing arranged inside the cover being provided for accommodating an air fan. An error prevention system is provided, specifically a poka-yoke system, designed to prevent incorrect assembly of the volute on the bulkhead within the shroud.
The present invention thus also makes it possible to provide a heat pump unit for a hot water heat pump in which four different assembly variants for associated air inlet/air outlet line arrangements can be realized by assembling an associated spiral housing in a first or second alignment position. In this way, with a corresponding assembly or installation, a respective most favorable assembly variant can be selected in terms of guiding and laying associated air inlet and air outlet lines, with correct and precise assembly of the spiral housing on the partition wall within the cover through the Error prevention system can be ensured. In addition, an at least largely minimized pressure loss of the air inlet and air outlet lines can be guaranteed, regardless of the selected installation variant. Due to the at least extensive minimization of the pressure loss, a reduction in the rotational frequency of an air fan accommodated in the volute housing, which is required during operation of the heat pump unit, can advantageously be made possible. Thus, associated power consumption and corresponding noise generation of the air blower can be reduced.
