Definitions

  • the invention relates to an oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump with a rotary vane unit, having a rotary vane chamber and a rotary vane rotor, and with an oil separating device, with gas and oil being separated in the oil separating device, preferably by an air deoiling element, with the air deoiling element having a filter element, which has a plug-in ring on one end that can be plugged in on the housing side, which is designed for radial sealing and axial displaceability in an associated housing receptacle, and the filter element facing the end associated with the outer wall has a formation for bayonet mounting.
  • Rotary vane vacuum pumps are usually rotary vane blowers with a rotary vane housing forming a rotary vane chamber, which rotary vane chamber is designed in the form of a cylindrical bore.
  • the vane rotor is usually cylindrical in shape, with vanes slidably disposed in slots in the rotor.
  • the slots in the rotor can be aligned strictly radially with respect to a cross-section through the rotor, or also run at an acute angle to a radial.
  • the rotor is preferably mounted in the area of the side covers closing off the rotary valve housing at each end.
  • the rotor rotates radially offset to the central axis of the rotary valve housing. This results in, separated by the essentially radially displaceable slides, closed chambers, the size of which changes during one revolution of the rotor. The change in size results in pressure differences between the individual chambers and thus between the inlet side and the outlet side of the pump.
  • the oil is pumped out of the last chamber into the outlet together with the pumped gas.
  • the oil in the system is heated.
  • the oil can become dirty as a result of contact with the pumped liquid or change as a result of possible chemical reactions. From this, a preferential processing of the oil can take place after leaving the blower area. In this regard, it is known to let the oil run through the device in a cyclic process.
  • Oil and gas can first be separated, optionally in several stages, for example as a result of coarse separation of large oil droplets, further for example by gravity and/or impact separation.
  • Another sub-process can be the filtering of the oil in an air/oil separator that has a filter element.
