Definitions
- the invention relates to a stretching device for stretching exercises according to the preamble of claim 1.
- an exercise device for carrying out isometric contractions.
- This has a first rod-shaped holding part suitable as a handle part and a second rod-shaped holding part suitable as a foot part.
- the two holding parts are connected to one another by a connecting part designed as a connecting belt with several loop-shaped holders arranged next to one another.
- the loop-shaped holders are designed in such a way that the two rod-shaped holding parts can be inserted.
- Another stretching device is from the US2009/0192022 known.
- a foot section designed as a support plate and a handle section designed as a handle bar are connected to one another via a connecting element designed as a connecting rope.
- One end of the connecting rope is firmly connected to the foot section via a knot, while the other end of the connecting rope is connected to the handle section in such a way that it can be rolled up on the handle section by turning it, thus adjusting the distance between the foot section and the handle section.
- the tension on the connecting rope must be maintained permanently to prevent it from unrolling, which leads to a corresponding strain on the arm muscles.
- the connecting rope can easily unwind again if the handle section is released, meaning that the connecting rope must be wound up again or the distance must be readjusted.
- the object of the invention is to provide a cost-effective and easy-to-manufacture stretching device which has improved adjustment options.
- the connecting element intended for connecting the foot part and the handle part is designed as a connecting belt with several loop-shaped receptacles arranged next to one another for inserting the foot part and/or the handle part.
- the handle part and the foot part can thus be inserted at different points on the connecting belt as required, and the distance between the foot part and the handle part can thus be adjusted. The selected distance is maintained even when the tension on the connecting belt decreases.
- the handle part is firmly connected to the connecting belt, for example by a screw connection. This can prevent the handle part from rotating relative to the connecting belt when it is rolled up.
- stretching exercises can be carried out while sitting by supporting yourself with the soles of your feet on the foot part and using the handle part to pull against the foot part supported by your feet.
- the firm resistance allows the pulling force to be transferred to the back of the legs.
- the upper body can also be straightened by pulling on the handle, which helps to improve posture. Since the stretching device is simple in design and consists of only a few parts, it can also be manufactured easily and inexpensively. It is also easy to store and can therefore be taken along when traveling.
- the connecting belt can be formed from a single belt piece with superimposed belt layers.
- the belt piece with the superimposed belt layers can be folded to form two loops at the ends and the ends of the belt piece can be sewn together at a connecting area.
- the loop-shaped receptacles in the connecting belt are expediently formed by connecting seams between the belt layers.
- the foot part and the handle part are expediently designed in the shape of a rod and can be identical.
- the foot part and the handle part have a slimmer middle section and outer handle or support areas.
- the dimensions of the outer handle or support areas are selected so that the foot part and the handle part must be inserted into or pulled out of the receptacles of the connecting strap with force.
- the foot part and the handle part are held on the connecting strap via the slimmer middle section so that they can rotate but are secured against falling out.
- the handle or support areas can be slightly conical.
- the handle or support areas can be provided with a non-slip surface.
- the base and handle are preferably made of wood. However, they can also be made of plastic or another suitable material.
- the stretching device for carrying out stretching exercises contains a foot part 1, a handle part 2 and a flexible, non-elastic connecting strap 3, by which the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 are connected to one another.
- the connecting strap 3 has several loop-shaped receptacles 4 arranged next to one another for inserting the foot part 1 and the handle part 2.
- the loop-shaped receptacles 4 are spaced apart from one another and designed in such a way that the foot part 1 or the handle part 2 can be inserted into them and held therein. For example, both the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 can be inserted at various different points on the connecting strap and the distance between the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 can thus be adjusted.
- the connecting element 3 designed as a connecting belt consists of a single piece of belt which is folded with superimposed belt layers 4 and 5 to form two end loops 6 and 7 and whose ends are are sewn together in a connecting area 9 next to the loop 7.
- the loop-shaped receptacles 4 are formed by connecting seams 10 between the two belt layers 6 and 7.
- the base part 1 and the handle part 2 are rod-shaped, preferably made from a round profile, and are preferably made of wood. However, instead of a round cross-section, the base part 1 and the handle part 2 can also have a non-round cross-section and be made from plastic or another suitable material.
- the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 are identical in the design shown and have a slimmer middle area 11 and outer grip or support areas 12.
- the diameter of the first loop 7 is selected such that the handle part 2 has to be inserted into or pulled out of the loop 7 with force. This prevents the handle part 2 from falling out when the exercise device is being transported.
- the other loop-shaped holders 4 are slightly larger so that changing between the holders can be done easily without much effort. Since the distance between the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 often has to be changed during stretching exercises, this can simplify handling.
- the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 are held on the connecting strap 3 via the slimmer middle area 11 so that they can rotate but are secured against falling out.
- the grip or support areas 12 can be slightly conical.
- the grip or holding areas can also be provided with a non-slip surface. The surface can be a special coating, a cover or a roughened or otherwise processed area.
- both the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 can be inserted not only into the two loops 7 and 8 at the ends of the connecting belt 3, but also into any receptacle 4 between the two loops 7 and 8. This means that the distance between the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 can be easily changed and adapted to the respective needs.
- stretching exercises can be carried out while sitting.
- support yourself with the soles of your feet on the foot part 1 grasp the handle part 2 with both hands and use the handle part 2 to pull against the foot part 1 supported by your feet.
- the distance between the foot part 1 and the handle part 2 can also be additionally changed by shortening the connecting strap 3 by winding the connecting strap 3 on the handle part 2 by turning the handle part 2 or lengthening it again by unwinding it.
- the connecting strap 3 is firmly connected to the handle part 2, e.g. by screws.

The object of the invention is to provide a cost-effective and easy-to-manufacture stretching device which has improved adjustment options.
This object is achieved by a stretching device having the features of
In the stretching device according to the invention, the connecting element intended for connecting the foot part and the handle part is designed as a connecting belt with several loop-shaped receptacles arranged next to one another for inserting the foot part and/or the handle part. The handle part and the foot part can thus be inserted at different points on the connecting belt as required, and the distance between the foot part and the handle part can thus be adjusted. The selected distance is maintained even when the tension on the connecting belt decreases. In order to enable the connecting belt to be wound up onto the handle part for further adjustment, the handle part is firmly connected to the connecting belt, for example by a screw connection. This can prevent the handle part from rotating relative to the connecting belt when it is rolled up. With the stretching device, for example, stretching exercises can be carried out while sitting by supporting yourself with the soles of your feet on the foot part and using the handle part to pull against the foot part supported by your feet. The firm resistance allows the pulling force to be transferred to the back of the legs. The upper body can also be straightened by pulling on the handle, which helps to improve posture. Since the stretching device is simple in design and consists of only a few parts, it can also be manufactured easily and inexpensively. It is also easy to store and can therefore be taken along when traveling.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the connecting belt can be formed from a single belt piece with superimposed belt layers. The belt piece with the superimposed belt layers can be folded to form two loops at the ends and the ends of the belt piece can be sewn together at a connecting area. The loop-shaped receptacles in the connecting belt are expediently formed by connecting seams between the belt layers.
The foot part and the handle part are expediently designed in the shape of a rod and can be identical. In another expedient embodiment, the foot part and the handle part have a slimmer middle section and outer handle or support areas. The dimensions of the outer handle or support areas are selected so that the foot part and the handle part must be inserted into or pulled out of the receptacles of the connecting strap with force. The foot part and the handle part are held on the connecting strap via the slimmer middle section so that they can rotate but are secured against falling out. To make it easier to insert the foot part and the handle part into the receptacles, the handle or support areas can be slightly conical.
To prevent hands and feet from slipping off the handle or foot section, the handle or support areas can be provided with a non-slip surface.
The base and handle are preferably made of wood. However, they can also be made of plastic or another suitable material.
