Definitions
- the invention relates to a compression knitted fabric, in particular for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation, as well as compression articles made from the compression knitted fabric.
- an upper body garment which, when worn, exerts a compression effect on the body of a wearer and has at least one stimulus-inducing structure with at least one stimulus-inducing functional element which, when worn, is arranged on an inside of the upper-body garment facing the body.
- the at least one functional element here comprises a knitted area which differs in terms of its type of weave from a knitted area of the upper body garment adjoining the functional element and is designed as a tuck knit.
- a proprioreceptive stimulating effect is exerted on the body of the wearer at the points where the functional elements are located, which is intensified by the compression effect of the item of clothing.
- the functional elements can be designed as locally limited elevations and dimensioned in such a way that they bring about a selective exertion of pressure on the skin of the wearer along a muscle chain and thereby stimulate the muscle activity of the muscle chain concerned.
- the stimulus-inducing structures with the stimulus-inducing functional elements are placed on the item of clothing in such a way that the stimulus-inducing structures at least partially overlap with specific muscles or muscle groups or the outer contour of the stimulus-inducing structure at least essentially corresponds to the outer contour of certain muscle groups.
- the AT 11 230 U2 describes, for example, clothing elements that support or improve the well-being, bodily functions or the performance of the human body through targeted stimulation of meridians and / or acupuncture points known from traditional Chinese medicine, by using stimulation bodies arranged on the clothing element through pressure or friction or through magnetic or electrical stimuli apply stimulation.
- the stimulation bodies are placed along the meridians and acupuncture points.
- the problem with wearing the item of clothing is that the functional elements that are intended to act on certain areas of the wearer's body, such as certain trigger or acupuncture points, for example , or are arranged along certain muscles or muscle chains, change their position when the wearer moves due to the elasticity of the items of clothing and the position of the functional elements is thereby removed from the desired position. As a result, the functional elements no longer have a stimulating effect on the desired areas on the body when the wearer moves.
- one object of the invention is to provide a compression knitted fabric from which compression articles with stimulus-inducing stimulation or functional elements can be produced, which remain dimensionally stable even when the wearer of the compression article moves, so that the functional elements can have a stimulating effect on the intended body parts without the functional elements on the wearer's body being displaced.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a compression knitted fabric for the production of compression articles for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation, which enables targeted, strong and local stimulation of given trigger points on the wearer's body.
- the compression knitted fabric according to the invention can be used for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation as well as for the treatment of lymphatic insufficiency and comprises an elastic basic knitted fabric, which is knitted from at least one knitting thread and a backed thread, and at least one inlaid or in the basic knitted fabric knitted elastic weft thread, with at least one area knitted into the basic knitted fabric as a knobbed knitted fabric which comprises at least one web-shaped elevation which, when the compression knitted fabric is applied to a body part of a user, causes muscle or fascia stimulation and stimulation of the body tissue and the nerves.
- the elevations which form functional elements for stimulating the muscles and in particular the muscle fascia, are formed in the knitted fabric by floating the knitting thread and the underlying thread.
- the formation of the elevations in the knobbed knitted fabric by floating the knitted thread and the underlying thread creates a greater stability of the compression knitted fabric.
- the compression knitted fabric is more dimensionally stable on longitudinal tension (that is, a tensile stress in the longitudinal direction or in the wale direction of the knitted fabric) than knitted fabrics in which elevations are formed by catch stitches.
- longitudinal tension that is, a tensile stress in the longitudinal direction or in the wale direction of the knitted fabric
- the use of a laid thread that runs together with the knitting thread in the basic knitted fabric produces a higher degree of elevation than is the case, for example, with functional elements that are formed by tuck loops in a knitted fabric.
- the type of knitting of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread defines the delimitation of the knobbed knit from the basic knit, in that the knit weave of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread in the area of the knobbed knit is different from that in the other areas of the basic knit outside of the knobbed knit.
- the selected knitted fabric weave of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread in the knobbed knitted fabric can achieve greater stability of the region of the knobbed knitted fabric against longitudinal and transverse tension on the knitted fabric.
- the elevations acting as functional or stimulation elements remain at the intended location, i.e. in particular at the specific trigger Points (such as acupuncture points) on which the elevations should have a stimulating effect.
- the dimensional stability of the compression knitted fabric according to the invention and thereby the correct positioning of the elevations is maintained even with strong movements of the wearer.
- compression articles produced from the compression knitted fabric can also be used by a wearer for targeted muscle and fascia stimulation, for example, during exercise.
- the overhangs of the web-shaped elevations above the basic knitted fabric are retained even when the knitted fabric is stretched.
- the web-shaped elevations protrude from the basic knitted fabric on the side of the compression article facing the body of the wearer by at least 2 mm and particularly preferably between 2.5 and 3.5 mm. This ensures that the web-shaped elevations can exert fascia stimulation at the specified trigger points on the body.
- the elevations can extend in the direction of the row of stitches of the knitted fabric over several loops or needles of the knitting machine with which the compression knitted fabric is produced.
- the extent of the elevations in the direction of the row of stitches is determined by the number of stitches or needles of the knitting machine over which the knitting thread and the underlying thread are each floating.
- the elevations preferably extend over at least two and in particular three or four loops in the course of the course.
- the elevations can each extend over a plurality of successive rows of stitches.
- the elevations extend in the wale direction over at least four, particularly preferably over six to twelve, and in particular over ten successive courses of stitches of the basic knitted fabric.
- the extension of the elevations in the direction of the course of stitches and in the wale direction can be adapted to the requirements and in particular to the desired size of the elevations acting as functional elements.
- the size of the elevations in the wale direction and / or in the wale direction is, for example, in the range from 0.1 to 2 cm.
- the height of the elevations above the basic knitted fabric in the unstretched state of the compression knitted fabric is preferably in the range from 0.1 to 1.0 cm, particularly preferably at least 3 mm, in particular between 4 and 6 mm.
- the knitted weave of the knobbed knit preferably differs from the knitted weave of the basic knitted fabric.
- the area of the knobbed knit differs from the region of the basic knit that surrounds the knobbed knit, in particular in the knitted fabric of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread.
- the basic knitted fabric in areas outside of the knobbed knit can include successive rows of stitches in which the knitting thread is knitted in each stitch or needle and the underlying thread is worked into the basic knitted fabric alternately to form loops and lie flat.
- the mesh pattern of rows of stitches that are adjacent in the wale direction is preferably arranged offset from one another by one stitch in each case.
- the knitting thread on each needle of the knitting machine can be knitted to form loops and the stored thread can form loops with the knitting thread between two needles, which can be at least two, but also three, four or more needles such tangled stitches lie afloat.
- both the knitting thread and the deposited thread on each needle of the knitting machine can be knitted in a loop-forming manner outside the elevations.
- the area of the knitted knitted fabric is characterized by particularly good dimensional stability and therefore contributes to the fact that the elevations remain at the intended location, in particular at specific trigger points, even when the wearer of a compression article made from the knitted fabric moves.
- the elastic weft thread is preferably integrated in the basic knit and in the knobbed knit in the same way.
- the elastic weft thread can be inserted or knitted both in the basic knit as well as in the knobbed knit in the catch or offset, for example in 1: 1, 1: 2 or 1: 3. This ensures a secure integration of the elastic weft thread in the compression knitted fabric and thereby a uniform compression effect.
- the elastic weft thread can also be knitted both in the basic knit and in the knobbed knit.
- the elastic weft thread causes the elastic knitted fabric to have a compressive effect on the part of the body on which a compression article made from the knitted compression fabric is applied.
- the elasticity of the weft thread causes the knitted fabric to contract in the direction of the row of stitches in the area of the floats of the knitted thread and the underlying thread in the knobbed knitted fabric, thereby forming the elevations in such a way that they are on one side of the compression knitted fabric (left fabric side) above the surface of the basic knitted fabric protrude.
- the height of the elevations above the surface of the basic knitted fabric is determined by the number of floats of the knitted thread and the underlying thread in the knobbed knitted fabric. The more floats are provided here, the higher the elevations, which are formed by these floats, protrude above the surface of the basic knitted fabric.
- the knitting thread is knitted in the basic knitted fabric and in the knobbed knit and lies loosely in the area of the elevations in the knobbed knit.
- the backing thread is knitted and backed alternately with the knitting thread in the basic knit, knitted in the knobbed knit and lies afloat in the area of the elevations.
- the weft thread is inserted in the base knit, in the knobbed knit and in the area of the elevations in the knobbed knit and offset 1: 1.
- the compression effect generated by the weft thread can be implemented uniformly over the entire surface of the compression knitted fabric.
- the compression pressure exerted by the compression knitted fabric on a part of the wearer's body can be generated gradually.
- a pressure curve of the compression pressure that decreases from distal to proximal is advantageous to support blood circulation.
- a plurality of web-shaped elevations are formed in the region of a knobbed knit, between which a depression is arranged.
- adjacent elevations are thereby spaced apart from one another in the direction of the course of stitches.
- the knitting thread and the underlying thread are knitted like in the rest of the knobbed knit, that is, knitted together to form loops in each stitch or on each needle.
- the formation of several elevations that are spaced apart from one another in one area of the knitted fabric in the direction of the stitch course contributes to improved dimensional stability of the compression fabric in the case of transverse tension (i.e. when there is tension on the fabric in the direction of the stitch course).
- the compression knitted fabric according to the invention is expediently designed as a circular knitted fabric and can be produced both on a circular knitting machine and on a flat knitting machine. This enables industrial mass production while maintaining small size tolerances and the formation of seamless, tubular compression articles, such as tubular bandages, stockings, sleeves, torso bandages, or items of clothing such as shirts or trousers.
- Fig. 1 the thread path of an embodiment of a compression knitted fabric according to the invention is shown in an overview.
- the Figures 2 - 5 show detailed representations of the grain.
- the knitting symbols used have the following meanings: Weft thread, usually wrapped around elastane thread Backing thread, polyamide thread Knitting thread, "knitted lycra", (simply) wrapped lycra thread
- Weft thread float
- Weft thread handle / catch Knitting thread (float), back thread (float) Knitting thread (loop), backing thread (float) Knitting thread (stitch), backing thread (stitch)
- the illustrated embodiment of a compression knitted fabric according to the invention comprises an elastic basic knitted fabric 1, which is knitted from at least one knitting thread F and a backed thread H (hereinafter also referred to as backing thread H).
- An elastic weft thread S is inserted into the basic knitted fabric 1.
- Both the knitting thread F and the elastic weft thread S can be designed as a wrapped elastane thread, for example as a wrapped lycra thread, the knitting thread F being (significantly) thinner than the elastic weft thread S.
- the backing thread H can be a single yarn, for example a polyamide yarn. Instead of wrapped elastane threads, other yarns can also be used for the knitting thread F and for the weft thread S.
- the basic knitted fabric 1 is designed as a right-left knitted fabric (R / L knitted fabric), the elastic weft thread S being offset 1: 1 in the catch in the basic knitted fabric 1.
- an area is knitted in, which is referred to as a knobbed knitted fabric 2 and in the drawings of the thread path of the Figures 1-5 is shown as a rectangle with a light gray background.
- the knitted area of the knobbed knit 2 differs from the knitted knit area of the basic knit 1 that surrounds it, appropriately by the type of knit weave of the backing thread H and / or the weft thread S.
- the knitted weaves of the knitted thread F are the same in the embodiment shown in the area of the knobbed knit 2 as otherwise Area of the basic knitted fabric 1, that is to say, for example, designed as an R / L knitted fabric. Such as the detailed representation of the grain of the Fig.
- the knitting thread F forms a loop in the basic knitted fabric 1 in areas outside the knobbed knitted fabric 2 on each needle of the knitting machine with which the compression knitted fabric is knitted, so that a right-left knitted fabric results in the basic knitted fabric 1.
- the backing thread H is knitted into the basic knitted fabric 1 in the areas outside the knobbed knit 2 with the knitting thread F so that the backing thread H forms a stitch on every second needle and lies afloat between these stitches.
- the deposited thread H is therefore incorporated in the basic knitted fabric 1 outside the areas of the knobbed knitted fabric, alternately forming loops and lying flat in the basic knitted fabric 1.
- the stored thread H in the region of the knobbed knit 2 on each needle forms a loop, as can be seen, for example, from the detailed illustration of the thread path in FIG Fig. 5 evident.
- This design of the knobbed knit 2 results in a higher dimensional stability of the compression knit in the area of the knobbed knit 2, compared to the areas of the basic knit 1 outside of the knobbed knit 2.
- two web-shaped elevations 3 arranged, which in the thread line representations of the Figures 1 - 5 are represented by rectangles with a dark gray background.
- the two elevations 3 are arranged at a predetermined distance from one another.
- the bar-shaped Elevations 3 are formed in the region of the knobbed knit 2 by floats of the knitting thread F and the underlying thread H.
- both the knitting thread F and the backing thread H lie afloat over a certain number of needles of the knitting machine in the area of the web-shaped elevations 3.
- the number of needles over which the knitting thread F and the backing thread H lie afloat determines the width of the web-shaped elevations 3 (that is, their extent in the direction of the course of the knitted fabric).
- the knitting thread F and the backing thread H are floating over three needles, so that the two web-shaped elevations 3 each extend over three needles in the direction of the row of stitches. Between the web-shaped elevations 3, the knitting thread F and the backing thread H are knitted to form stitches on each needle, as in the rest of the knobbed knit 2 outside the elevations 3.
- the extent of the web-shaped elevations 3 in the wale direction depends on the number of courses in which the knitting thread F and the backing thread H to form the elevations 3 lie afloat.
- the embodiment shown is the number of rows of stitches in which the knitting thread F and the backing thread H to form the elevations 3 floats, shown in shortened form as in the course of the thread Figure 1 only two courses of the basic knitted fabric 1 with floats of the knitting thread F and the backing thread H formed therein are shown.
- the number of these courses of stitches, in which floats of the knitting thread F and the backing thread H are provided, can be selected as desired when knitting the compression knitted fabric by repeating the stitches that contain floats of the knitting thread F and the backing thread H over a certain number of stitches .
- the elastic weft thread S is integrated in the area of the knobbed knit 2 in the same way as in the area of the basic knit 1 outside of the knobbed knit 2, ie in the embodiment shown the weft thread S is offset 1: 1 in the tuck in the knobbed knit 2 involved.
- the weft thread S is hooked into the mesh heads of the meshes of the knitting thread F and is thereby fixed in the mesh heads of the knitting thread F.
- the knitting process begins in row 1 with the knitting of the basic knit 1 by knitting the knitting thread F as a loop on each needle of the knitting machine as an R / L knit and simultaneously knitting the backing thread H by forming a stitch on every second needle and floats of the backing thread H between The stitches of the backing thread H which follow one another in the direction of the course of the course.
- Row 3 is knitted with knitting thread F and backing thread H as in row 1, but offset by one needle in the direction of the row of stitches.
- the weft thread S is again integrated 1: 1 in the tuck into the basic knitted fabric 1.
- the knotted knitted fabric 2 is knitted into the basic knitted fabric 1 in some areas, which in Fig. 1 is shown with the highlighted light gray rectangle.
- the knitting thread F and the backing thread H are knitted in the area outside the knobbed knit 2 as in row 1.
- the backing thread H From a given needle (in the embodiment shown, this is the ninth needle) there is another knitting of the backing thread H.
- the backing thread is knitted together with the knitting thread F on each needle to form a loop. This is done in the in Fig. 1 shown embodiment made over 15 needles until the basic knitted fabric 1 is knitted again as in the first row.
- weft thread S 1: 1 is again integrated in the tuck into the basic knitted fabric 1 and into the knobbed knitted fabric 2.
- the next row (row 7) is knitted in the same way as row 5, with the floats of the backing thread H being offset by a needle with respect to row 5 in the area outside the knobbed knit 2.
- the web-shaped elevations 3 are formed in the region of the knobbed knit 2 by integrating the knitting thread F and the backing thread H into the knobbed knit 2 in a floating position via a predetermined number of needles of the knitting machine.
- the knitting thread F and the backing thread H run smoothly over three needles, so that the elevation 3 formed by these floats extends over three needles in the direction of the row of stitches.
- two such elevations 3 are provided in the region of the knobbed knitted fabric 2, which are spaced apart from one another by a predetermined number of needles of the knitting machine (in the example shown, these are five needles).
- the knitting thread F and the backing thread H are knitted in a loop-forming manner on each needle, as in the remaining area of the knobbed knitted fabric 2 outside the elevations 3.
- the weft thread S 1: 1 is again tied into the base knit 1 and into the knobbed knit 2.
- Row 11 is knitted again like row 9, but offset by one needle in the direction of the row of stitches.
- the weft thread S is again tied in in the same way as in the rows below.
- the knitted fabric of the rows 9-12 can be knitted repeatedly over a predetermined number of repetitions, for example five times.
- the extension of the web-shaped elevations 3 in the knitting direction (wale direction) is defined by the number N of repetitions.
- rows 13 and 14 in the knitting direction are knitted like rows 7 and 8, with an elongated stitch being created over the floats in the previous rows, since the knitting thread F and the backing thread H are inserted in row 7 and up to row 13 without The stitches remain on the needles.
- Rows 15 and 16 are knitted like rows 7 and 8 and rows 17-20 correspond to rows 1-4.
- the web-shaped elevations 3 arise because in the area of the floats of the weft thread F and the backing thread H, the weft thread S, which is still 1: 1 in the catch, is tied into the knitted fabric in the transverse direction contracts and on one Fabric side of the knitted fabric (right fabric side, as in Fig. 6 depicted photographically) elevations 3 are formed which protrude a certain height above the surface of the basic knitted fabric 1. On the other side of the goods (left side of the goods, as in Fig. 7 depicted photographically) there are corresponding depressions at the points of the elevations 3.
- FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of the two web-shaped elevations 3, which are formed by the floats of the knitting thread F and the backing thread H in the area of the knobbed knit 2.
- the knitting thread and the backing thread lie afloat, while the knitting thread and the backing thread are knitted to form loops in the remaining area of the knobbed knit.
- the weft thread is inserted offset 1: 1 in the basic knit and in the entire knobbed knit, including the area of the elevations.
- any number of elevations 3 can be formed in a region of a knitted knitted fabric 2.
- Fig. 9 For clarification, an embodiment of a compression knitted fabric according to the invention is shown, in which only one web-shaped elevation 3 is arranged in the area of a knobbed knitted fabric 2.
- a further exemplary embodiment is shown with three such web-shaped elevations 3, which are located in the region of a knobbed knit 2 and are arranged at a distance from one another in the direction of the row of stitches.
- the predetermined distance from adjacent elevations 3 results from the number of needles by means of which the knitting thread F and the backing thread H are knitted into the knobbed knitted fabric 2 to form loops on each needle.
- the areas of the knobbed knitted fabric 2 with the elevations 3 arranged therein can be knitted into the basic knitted fabric 1 at any point and any number of times. It is useful if an area of a knobbed knitted fabric 2 is surrounded on all sides by an area of the basic knitted fabric 1, as shown in FIG Figure 1 evident. This enables the production of compression knitted fabrics which have stimulation elements in the form of the elevations 3 at specific, predeterminable positions of the knitted fabric.
- compression articles for muscle and fascia stimulation or for the treatment of lymphatic insufficiency can be produced from the compression knitted fabric according to the invention, which are targeted and in particular locally at selected trigger points on the body of a wearer exert a limited stimulus on the skin, tissue and muscles or muscle fascia as well as on nerve cords.
- the compression knitted fabric according to the invention is characterized by a high degree of dimensional stability, in particular in the area of the knobbed knitted fabric 2.
- This high dimensional stability in the area of the knobbed knit 2 is achieved by knitting the knitting thread F and the backing thread H on each needle to form loops.
- the dimensional stability on transverse tension i.e. on a tension on the knitted fabric in the course of the stitching
- compression knitted fabrics according to the invention can therefore be used to produce dimensionally stable compression articles for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation, the web-shaped elevations 3 serving as stimulation elements that exert a stimulating effect on the part of the body on which the compression article is applied.
- Compression articles that are made from a compression knitted fabric according to the invention therefore enable targeted, in particular locally limited or punctiform stimulation of nerves, muscles or fascia, in particular at certain trigger points on the body of a wearer of the compression article, without the position of the stimulation elements being affected, for example by Movements of the wearer is changed.
- the knitted fabric in the basic knitted fabric 1 and in the knobbed knitted fabric 2 can be selected differently than in the R / L knitted fabric shown.
- a right-right knitted fabric (R / R), for example, can also be used for this purpose.
- R / R right-right knitted fabric
- the elastic weft thread can also be integrated differently into the basic knitted fabric and the knobbed knitted fabric.
- the basic knitted fabric can (also) be distinguished from the knobbed knitted fabric by the knitting of the weft thread.
- the compression knitted fabric according to the invention can be designed both as a circular knitted fabric and as a flat knitted fabric, it also being possible to knit it as a seamless circular knitted fabric on a flat knitting machine with two opposite rows of needles.

Description
The invention relates to a compression knitted fabric, in particular for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation, as well as compression articles made from the compression knitted fabric.

In the case of items of clothing made from elastic and compressive knitted fabrics with stimulation or functional elements for muscle and fascia stimulation, the problem with wearing the item of clothing is that the functional elements that are intended to act on certain areas of the wearer's body, such as certain trigger or acupuncture points, for example , or are arranged along certain muscles or muscle chains, change their position when the wearer moves due to the elasticity of the items of clothing and the position of the functional elements is thereby removed from the desired position. As a result, the functional elements no longer have a stimulating effect on the desired areas on the body when the wearer moves.
Based on this, one object of the invention is to provide a compression knitted fabric from which compression articles with stimulus-inducing stimulation or functional elements can be produced, which remain dimensionally stable even when the wearer of the compression article moves, so that the functional elements can have a stimulating effect on the intended body parts without the functional elements on the wearer's body being displaced. Another object of the invention is to provide a compression knitted fabric for the production of compression articles for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation, which enables targeted, strong and local stimulation of given trigger points on the wearer's body.
These objects are achieved with a compression knitted fabric with the features of
The compression knitted fabric according to the invention can be used for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation as well as for the treatment of lymphatic insufficiency and comprises an elastic basic knitted fabric, which is knitted from at least one knitting thread and a backed thread, and at least one inlaid or in the basic knitted fabric knitted elastic weft thread, with at least one area knitted into the basic knitted fabric as a knobbed knitted fabric which comprises at least one web-shaped elevation which, when the compression knitted fabric is applied to a body part of a user, causes muscle or fascia stimulation and stimulation of the body tissue and the nerves. According to the invention, the elevations, which form functional elements for stimulating the muscles and in particular the muscle fascia, are formed in the knitted fabric by floating the knitting thread and the underlying thread.
The formation of the elevations in the knobbed knitted fabric by floating the knitted thread and the underlying thread creates a greater stability of the compression knitted fabric. In particular, the compression knitted fabric is more dimensionally stable on longitudinal tension (that is, a tensile stress in the longitudinal direction or in the wale direction of the knitted fabric) than knitted fabrics in which elevations are formed by catch stitches. The use of a laid thread that runs together with the knitting thread in the basic knitted fabric produces a higher degree of elevation than is the case, for example, with functional elements that are formed by tuck loops in a knitted fabric. Due to the higher shape of the elevations compared to the surface of the basic knitted fabric, targeted and punctual stimulation at specific, predetermined trigger points on the wearer's body can be achieved when a compression article made from the compression knitted fabric according to the invention is in contact with the wearer's body. Furthermore, patterns can be introduced into the basic knitted fabric through the deposited thread. Finally, the type of knitting of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread defines the delimitation of the knobbed knit from the basic knit, in that the knit weave of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread in the area of the knobbed knit is different from that in the other areas of the basic knit outside of the knobbed knit. The selected knitted fabric weave of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread in the knobbed knitted fabric can achieve greater stability of the region of the knobbed knitted fabric against longitudinal and transverse tension on the knitted fabric.
Due to the high dimensional stability of the compression knitted fabric, which is achieved through the formation of the elevations through floatation of the knitting thread and the underlying thread in the areas of the knobbed knit, the elevations acting as functional or stimulation elements remain at the intended location, i.e. in particular at the specific trigger Points (such as acupuncture points) on which the elevations should have a stimulating effect. The dimensional stability of the compression knitted fabric according to the invention and thereby the correct positioning of the elevations is maintained even with strong movements of the wearer. As a result, compression articles produced from the compression knitted fabric can also be used by a wearer for targeted muscle and fascia stimulation, for example, during exercise. Furthermore, due to the high dimensional stability of the compression knitted fabric, the overhangs of the web-shaped elevations above the basic knitted fabric are retained even when the knitted fabric is stretched. When the compression article is placed on the body of a wearer and the knitted fabric is stretched as a result, the web-shaped elevations protrude from the basic knitted fabric on the side of the compression article facing the body of the wearer by at least 2 mm and particularly preferably between 2.5 and 3.5 mm. This ensures that the web-shaped elevations can exert fascia stimulation at the specified trigger points on the body. The elevations can extend in the direction of the row of stitches of the knitted fabric over several loops or needles of the knitting machine with which the compression knitted fabric is produced. The extent of the elevations in the direction of the row of stitches is determined by the number of stitches or needles of the knitting machine over which the knitting thread and the underlying thread are each floating. The elevations preferably extend over at least two and in particular three or four loops in the course of the course. However, it is also possible to extend the elevations in the direction of the course of stitches over a larger number of loops or needles, so that linear stimulation elements extending in the direction of the course of stitches can also be generated.
In Längsrichtung des Gestricks (also in Strickrichtung bzw. In the longitudinal direction of the knitted fabric (that is to say in the knitting direction or wale direction), the elevations can each extend over a plurality of successive rows of stitches. In preferred exemplary embodiments, the elevations extend in the wale direction over at least four, particularly preferably over six to twelve, and in particular over ten successive courses of stitches of the basic knitted fabric.
The extension of the elevations in the direction of the course of stitches and in the wale direction can be adapted to the requirements and in particular to the desired size of the elevations acting as functional elements. By designing the elevations over just a few rows of stitches in wale direction and the formation of the floats of the knitting thread and the deposited thread over only two or three loops or needles of the knitting machine, functional elements that act at points can be formed. The size of the elevations in the wale direction and / or in the wale direction is, for example, in the range from 0.1 to 2 cm. The height of the elevations, i.e. their protrusion over the surface of the basic knitted fabric, can be determined by a selection of the thread size of the knitting thread and the underlying thread as well as the number of stitches or needles over which the knitting thread and the underlying thread lie afloat in the area of the elevations, to be influenced. The height of the elevations above the basic knitted fabric in the unstretched state of the compression knitted fabric is preferably in the range from 0.1 to 1.0 cm, particularly preferably at least 3 mm, in particular between 4 and 6 mm.
The inclusion of the elevations in a knitted knitted fabric, which is surrounded by the basic knitted fabric, contributes to the dimensional stability of the compression knitted fabric. The knitted weave of the knobbed knit preferably differs from the knitted weave of the basic knitted fabric.
The area of the knobbed knit differs from the region of the basic knit that surrounds the knobbed knit, in particular in the knitted fabric of the underlying thread and / or the weft thread. For example, the basic knitted fabric in areas outside of the knobbed knit can include successive rows of stitches in which the knitting thread is knitted in each stitch or needle and the underlying thread is worked into the basic knitted fabric alternately to form loops and lie flat. In this case, the mesh pattern of rows of stitches that are adjacent in the wale direction is preferably arranged offset from one another by one stitch in each case.
In the basic knitted fabric, for example, the knitting thread on each needle of the knitting machine can be knitted to form loops and the stored thread can form loops with the knitting thread between two needles, which can be at least two, but also three, four or more needles such tangled stitches lie afloat.
In the area of the knobbed knit, on the other hand, both the knitting thread and the deposited thread on each needle of the knitting machine can be knitted in a loop-forming manner outside the elevations. The area of the knitted knitted fabric is characterized by particularly good dimensional stability and therefore contributes to the fact that the elevations remain at the intended location, in particular at specific trigger points, even when the wearer of a compression article made from the knitted fabric moves.
The elastic weft thread is preferably integrated in the basic knit and in the knobbed knit in the same way. For example, the elastic weft thread can be inserted or knitted both in the basic knit as well as in the knobbed knit in the catch or offset, for example in 1: 1, 1: 2 or 1: 3. This ensures a secure integration of the elastic weft thread in the compression knitted fabric and thereby a uniform compression effect. The elastic weft thread can also be knitted both in the basic knit and in the knobbed knit. On the one hand, the elastic weft thread causes the elastic knitted fabric to have a compressive effect on the part of the body on which a compression article made from the knitted compression fabric is applied. On the other hand, the elasticity of the weft thread causes the knitted fabric to contract in the direction of the row of stitches in the area of the floats of the knitted thread and the underlying thread in the knobbed knitted fabric, thereby forming the elevations in such a way that they are on one side of the compression knitted fabric (left fabric side) above the surface of the basic knitted fabric protrude. The height of the elevations above the surface of the basic knitted fabric is determined by the number of floats of the knitted thread and the underlying thread in the knobbed knitted fabric. The more floats are provided here, the higher the elevations, which are formed by these floats, protrude above the surface of the basic knitted fabric.
In preferred exemplary embodiments, the knitting thread is knitted in the basic knitted fabric and in the knobbed knit and lies loosely in the area of the elevations in the knobbed knit.
The backing thread is knitted and backed alternately with the knitting thread in the basic knit, knitted in the knobbed knit and lies afloat in the area of the elevations. The weft thread is inserted in the base knit, in the knobbed knit and in the area of the elevations in the knobbed knit and offset 1: 1.
The compression effect generated by the weft thread can be implemented uniformly over the entire surface of the compression knitted fabric. However, it is also possible for the compression pressure exerted by the compression knitted fabric on a part of the wearer's body to be generated gradually. In particular when applying a compression article made from the compression knitted fabric to a body extremity such as an arm or a leg, a pressure curve of the compression pressure that decreases from distal to proximal is advantageous to support blood circulation.
In preferred exemplary embodiments, a plurality of web-shaped elevations are formed in the region of a knobbed knit, between which a depression is arranged. In one area of the knobbed knit, adjacent elevations are thereby spaced apart from one another in the direction of the course of stitches. In the area of the recess between two adjacent elevations in the area of a knobbed knit, the knitting thread and the underlying thread are knitted like in the rest of the knobbed knit, that is, knitted together to form loops in each stitch or on each needle. The formation of several elevations that are spaced apart from one another in one area of the knitted fabric in the direction of the stitch course contributes to improved dimensional stability of the compression fabric in the case of transverse tension (i.e. when there is tension on the fabric in the direction of the stitch course).
The compression knitted fabric according to the invention is expediently designed as a circular knitted fabric and can be produced both on a circular knitting machine and on a flat knitting machine. This enables industrial mass production while maintaining small size tolerances and the formation of seamless, tubular compression articles, such as tubular bandages, stockings, sleeves, torso bandages, or items of clothing such as shirts or trousers.
These and other advantages as well as effects and features of the compression knitted fabric according to the invention and the compression articles produced therefrom emerge from FIG Embodiments described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The knitting process begins in
From
After
In
The compression knitted fabric according to the invention is characterized by a high degree of dimensional stability, in particular in the area of the knobbed knitted
The compression knitted fabrics according to the invention can therefore be used to produce dimensionally stable compression articles for tissue, nerve, muscle and fascia stimulation, the web-shaped
The invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiments described. Thus, the knitted fabric in the basic knitted
The compression knitted fabric according to the invention can be designed both as a circular knitted fabric and as a flat knitted fabric, it also being possible to knit it as a seamless circular knitted fabric on a flat knitting machine with two opposite rows of needles.
