Wie Figur 1 zeigt, überdeckt der Steg 10 im montierten Zustand die dem Riegel 3 abgewandte Seite des Schlosskastens 2. An der Unterseite ist der Steg als Verstärkungssteg 11 ausgebildet. Dieser Verstärkungssteg 11 wird von Überlappungen 12, 13 von Abwinklungen der Seitenwandungen 9 gebildet. Die Überlappungen 12, 13 sind mittels einer Punktschweißung 14 miteinander verschweißt. In den Seitenwandungen 8, 9 ist eine Fixiereinrichtung 15 mit Rastmitteln 16 zur Verrastung mit dem Schlosskasten 2 aus Figur 1 angeordnet. Diese Rastmittel 16 sind als in den Seitenwandungen 8, 9 angeordnete Senkungen ausgebildet. Damit lässt sich die Schutzkappe 7 mit dem Schlosskasten 2 verrasten und in der Tür montieren. Die Rastmittel 16 sind neben Ausnehmungen 17 für den Schließzylinder 5 aus Figur 1 angeordnet. Claims (12)

  1. Protective cap (7) for a lock (1) of a door, which lock has a lock case (2), the protective cap comprising two side walls (8, 9, 108, 109) laterally covering the lock case (2) and a web (10, 110) connecting the side walls (8, 9, 108, 109), the web (10, 110) being formed in at least one portion as a reinforcing web (11, 111) and the reinforcing web (11, 111) having a higher strength than the side walls (8, 9, 108, 109), characterized in that the web (10, 110) extends over the entire height of the side walls (8, 9, 108, 109) and has a single cut-out (18) for a locking cylinder screw to be guided through.
  2. Protective cap according to claim 1, characterized in that the web (10, 110) and the reinforcing web (11, 111) cover a corner region of the lock case (2) and in that the side walls (8, 9, 108, 109) are approximately half the height of the lock case (2).
  3. Protective cap according to at least one of claims 1 to 2,
    characterized in that the web (10, 110) has an outwardly directed shaped region (20) for a fastening screw to be guided through in the direction that is perpendicular to the side walls (8, 9, 108, 109).
  4. Protective cap according to claim 3, characterized in that the outwardly directed shaped region (20) is semicircular and, together with a semicircular notch opposite it in the lock case (2), forms an approximately circular bushing (21).
  5. Protective cap according to at least one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterized in that the reinforcing web (111) has an insert element having a strength increased by contrast with the side walls (108, 109).
  6. Protective cap according to at least one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterized in that the reinforcing web (11) has two overlaps (12, 13) formed by bending of the side walls (8, 9).
  7. Protective cap according to claim 6, characterized in that the overlaps (12, 13) forming the reinforcing web (11) are connected to one another by welding or riveting or clinching.
  8. Protective cap according to at least one of claims 1 to 7,
    characterized in that the side walls (8, 9, 108, 109) have a fixing device (15, 115) for mounting on the lock case (2).
  9. Protective cap according to claim 8, characterized in that the fixing device (15) has latching means (16) for latching to the lock case (2).
  10. Protective cap according to claim 9, characterized in that the latching means (16) have depressions formed in the side walls (8, 9).
  11. Protective cap according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the latching means (16) are arranged next to cut-outs (17) for a locking cylinder (5).
  12. Protective cap according to at least one of claims 1 to 11,
    characterized in that the side walls (108, 109) are designed to taper toward one other.
