Description

  • The present invention relates to a cooker appliance comprising baking stone.
  • In ovens, the cooking process is performed by dissipating the heat generated by a heater into the cooker by means of a fan. The cooking process is performed by dissipating hot air inside the cooker. Therefore, food products are cooked by means of air without directly contacting a hot surface. This poses challenges in baking pastry products such as pizzas and the baking process takes a longer time. This causes the dough to not be baked as desired or to become hardened. Baking stones are used in the art for the baking process pastry products. The baking stones known in the art are generally made of refractory materials such as ceramic or stone materials which have high heat storage capacity and slowly releasing heat in time and thereby enabling directly heating the bottom of the pastry product which is in direct contact with a tray. However, frequently used baking stones become dirty over time. The baking process may not be performed with high efficiency due to dirt accumulation on their surface, leading to under- or over-baking of the food products. Baking stones require being regularly cleaned by users. However, regular cleaning of baking stones cause hardships in usage.
  • State of the art United States patent application no. US20140238250 discloses a baking stone which can be heated in microwave ovens. US2017/314787A1 discloses a cooker appliance according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • The aim of the present invention is to realize a cooker appliance providing ease of use.
  • The cooker appliance realized to achieve the aim of the present invention and disclosed in claim 1, comprises a body, a cooking chamber in which food products are cooked, a chassis surrounding the cooking chamber, a heater provided in the cooking chamber, enabling heating food products, and a baking stone made of refractory material, on which food products are cooked.
  • The cooker appliance of the invention comprises at least one heat sensor enabling detecting temperature of the baking stone. The control unit compares the temperature variation values predetermined and pre-saved to the control unit by the producer with the values received from the heat sensor. This enables determining dirtiness of the baking stone. The control unit determines dirtiness of the baking stone according to information read from the baking stone.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker appliance comprises a control unit determining that the baking stone is dirty if the temperature values received from the heat sensor are lower than the temperature values saved in the control unit. The heating duration of the baking stone extends as it becomes dirtier. Therefore, heat increases more slowly in a unit of time.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker appliance comprises at least one proximity sensor provided in the cooking chamber. The proximity sensor enables detecting the distance between the baking stone and the base of the cooking chamber. The control unit compares the distance information predetermined by the producer with the distance information received from the sensor, and determines that the baking stone is dirty by evaluating this information together with the temperature information.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker appliance comprises a control unit determining that the baking stone is dirty if the value determined by means of the proximity sensor is lower than the value saved in the control unit. The baking stone surface thickens due to dirt accumulation thereon. Therefore the distance between the cooking chamber and the baking stone decreases.
  • The cooker appliance comprises a washing system provided on the chassis. The washing system enables conveying the water drawn from the mains on the baking stone. The cooking stone is thus cleaned. When dirtiness of the baking stone is detected, the control unit enables activation of the washing system or alerts the user.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker appliance comprises a washing system having a water inlet enabling the water drawn from the mains to be introduced to the cooking chamber and a detergent inlet enabling detergent to be introduced to the cooking chamber. A detergent storage is provided on the chassis. Detergent is filled into the detergent storage by the user. The detergent in the detergent storage is introduced to the cooking chamber through the detergent inlet. The baking stone is thus enabled to be cleaned.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker appliance comprises a control unit enabling during the washing process activating the heater when water is introduced to the cooking chamber. The dirt on the baking stone is thus more easily cleaned.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker appliance comprises a filter enabling cleaning the water used in the washing process. Water can be reused by being purged of dirt particles by means of the filter.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker appliance comprises an impeller enabling actuating water after water is introduced to the cooking chamber. The baking stone is thus cleaned more rapidly.
  • The cooker appliance realized to achieve the aims of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
    • Figure 1 is a perspective view of the cooker appliance.
