Fig. 6 shows theframe 10, thesecond screen unit 40 and thefeeder 30. Thesecond screen unit 40 is showing comprising thesub-frame 42 and thefourth support arm 44 as hereinbefore described. In the embodiment ofFig. 6 , thethird support arm 16, having the structure and functionality as hereinbefore described, is pivotably connected to theframe 10 and to thesub-frame 42 at aconnection point 36. - The
feeder 30 is attached to thesub-frame 42 at attachment points 32 and 34 so that thefeeder 30 in effect hangs inside thesub-frame 42 and below thesecond screen unit 40. -
Fig. 6 further shows thesupport legs 70 in a retracted position. In an embodiment, the mineral material processing plant further comprises aback plate 46 configured to protect the structures from the reject of thesecond screen unit 40. In a further embodiment, depending on the type of thesecond screen unit 40, the mineral material processing plant comprises a protective plate on the side of the second screen unit. -
Fig. 7 shows a schematic view of a detail of a mineral material processing plant according to an embodiment of the invention, i.e.Fig. 7 shows thefeeder 30 attached to thesub-frame 42 atpoints connection point 36 for the third support arm has been depicted as well. - In an embodiment, the mineral material processing plant comprises
feeder side walls sub-frame 42. - Without in any way limiting the scope of protection, interpretation or possible applications of the invention, a technical advantage of different embodiments of the invention may be considered to be the provision of a scalping screen integrated into the single processing plant. Further, a technical advantage of different embodiments of the invention may be considered to be the provision of extra screening capacity without compromising transportability. Still further, a technical advantage of different embodiments of the invention may be considered to be improved adjustability of the feeder. Still further, a technical advantage of different embodiments of the invention may be considered to be improved control of forces caused by screening.
- The foregoing description provides non-limiting examples of some embodiments of the invention. It is clear to a person skilled in the art that the invention is not restricted to details presented, but that the invention can be implemented in other equivalent means insofar this is within the scope of the appended claims. Some of the features of the above-disclosed embodiments may be used to advantage without the use of other features.
- As such, the foregoing description shall be considered as merely illustrative of the principles of the invention, and not in limitation thereof. Hence, the scope of the invention is only restricted by the appended patent claims.
