Known items of clothing of this type have the disadvantage that they only insufficiently filter the ambient air. The task of further developing an item of clothing in such a way that it offers an additional benefit in areas with heavily polluted air is achieved by placing the filter layer (4) between a inner layer (5) facing the user and an outer layer (6) of the item of clothing (1) facing away from the user.
Description
The invention relates to an item of clothing made of textile material which can be worn at least over the area of the mouth and nose of a user and which has a filter layer in this area.
Known items of clothing of this type, which can be, for example, scarves, turtlenecks or shades, have the disadvantage that they only insufficiently filter the ambient air, even if they are pulled tightly over the area of the mouth and nose of the user. This is a problem especially in heavily polluted metropolitan areas, but also for allergy sufferers with pollen allergies. The user must then also wear a medical breathing mask.
The task is therefore to further develop an item of clothing in such a way that it offers an additional benefit in areas with heavily polluted air.
This object is achieved with the characterizing features of
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind den Unteransprüchen entnehmbar.Advantageous refinements can be found in the subclaims.
It is particularly advantageous if the position of the item of clothing facing the user merges along a connecting fold into the position of the item of clothing facing away from the user. In this case, only one panel is required.
The layer of the item of clothing facing the user is preferably provided with a water-vapor-impermeable coating in the area of the connecting fold.
The item of clothing can be designed, for example, as a rectangular or tubular scarf or as a turtleneck sweater or as a schador.
The textile material can be designed as a woven or knitted fabric based on natural fibers or synthetic fibers of natural origin.
The item of clothing is preferably provided with a molding by a molding process, at least in the area that is provided with the water vapor-impermeable coating.
The coating which is impermeable to water vapor advantageously has an acrylate, which can be a styrene-acrylic acid ester copolymer. Microspheres made of plastic with a diameter between 5 and 40 µm can be mixed with the acrylate at room temperature.
Alternatively, the water-vapor-impermeable coating can advantageously consist of silicone.
The filter layer can consist entirely or partially of polypropylene, a petroleum-based polymer or a biopolymer. It is designed to adhere to the inner layer facing the user and / or the outer layer of the item of clothing facing away from the user. The adhesion of the filter layer is advantageously brought about or reinforced by a previous electrical surface treatment of the filter layer.
The filter layer preferably has a particle permeability limit of at most 0.5 micrometers.
The item of clothing preferably has a length-adjustable drawstring leading behind the head of the user.
