Definitions
- the technical field of the present invention is that of signaling devices. More particularly, the present invention relates to a road signaling device intended to be carried by a land vehicle driver or intended to be adapted to such a vehicle, this vehicle preferably being a two-wheeled vehicle.
- stop lights allow stop lights to illuminate in a variable manner depending on the braking level found by an accelerometer in the light source.
- two-wheeled vehicle drivers should be made more visible by placing a source of light at a higher ground level than that of the lights of the said vehicles, as is the case for the third stop lamp placed on the rear windscreen of three or four-wheeled vehicles.
- the drivers of two-wheeled vehicles would be visible through an automobile interposed between an observer and the stop light of which it would be equipped and, on the other hand, the distance separating said observer from said driver would be better appreciated by said observer.
- the human eye better assesses the distance separating it from an object having several lights than that separating it from an object having only one.
- these devices are not adapted to emit, in case of accident, a signal separate from that issued for braking, which can be detrimental to the physical integrity of the driver provided with said device.
- the present invention proposes a signaling device intended to be carried by a driver of a land vehicle or to be adapted to such a vehicle.
- vehicle is preferably a two-wheeled vehicle, the device comprising an accelerometer, an electrochemical accumulator battery, a first light source, a wireless communication means for transmitting an alert signal, and a control unit intended to activate
- said light source when said accelerometer measures a deceleration greater than or equal to a first predefined deceleration threshold, called the braking threshold, and
- said communication means when G accelerometer measures a deceleration greater than or equal to a second predefined deceleration threshold, called the accident threshold.
- a driver equipped with the device according to the invention is more visible during braking and, on the other hand, the other drivers, helpers and, optionally, the relatives of said driver are notified instantly in accident case.
- this device further comprises a geolocation system for measuring the geographic coordinates of said device, the alert signal emitted by the wireless communication means containing said geographical coordinates.
- the accident victim is located precisely and can be rescued more quickly.
- this device further comprises a second light source, the control unit being further intended to activate said second light source when said accelerometer measures a deceleration greater than or equal to the second predefined deceleration threshold.
- this second light source for example orange, may flash to perform a hazard fire function.
- - G accelerometer is electronic and performs its measurements along three orthogonal axes
- control unit is also intended to activate the communication means and / or the second light source when G accelerometer measures a number of switching between acceleration and deceleration greater than or equal to a predetermined number of failover thresholds, in a lapse of time; predefined time.
- the activation of the means of communication depends on an additional perimeter, which improves efficiency of the device according to the invention.
- this device further comprises a photodiode and a third light source, the control unit being further intended to activate said third light source when said photodiode measures optical radiation less than or equal to one predefined threshold of optical radiation.
- this third light source can fulfill a position light function.

- a flashing activation signal is sent to the signaling device, and the corresponding flashing light is activated according to the instructions required for the journey to be made.
- the cyclist can activate the turn signals via the application in operation on a portable computing device, such as a mobile phone, in a menu of the application specific to this function.
- the application is launched by the cyclist, the portable computing device being preferably available on the handlebars via, for example, a support adapted to this device.
- the cyclist then manually triggers the right or left turn signal according to his route.
- Such a control can be fixed to the handlebar, by attachment or by adhesive means or any other means of attachment, and allows the cyclist to trigger via a control means, which may be a button such as a press button, the right turn signal or left.

- This support can be attached to the cyclist's helmet or on a component of the two-wheeled vehicle, for example on the rear luggage rack of the vehicle via the fixing system mentioned above.
- the device can be connected to a dedicated computer application, as indicated above, the various functionalities implemented on this application being in particular the following:
- ⁇ >"sharing" function access mode on different computing devices such as mobile phones, to share the paths with other users; this mode offers the possibility of geolocating a loved one at any time; for example, a parent will be able to locate his child while cycling;
- o Fall or crash detection as described above, including: the system incorporates an algorithm to identify the fall of the cyclist.
- the application sends an "incident" message to a rescue center that will be able to check (following a phone call, for example) with the cyclist if the incident is proven. If the cyclist does not answer, the emergency services can be triggered automatically, in a very short time, preferably in less than 5 minutes, by the call center.
- the cyclist can also activate the rescue autonomously thanks to an alert button present in the application.
- a warning button for relatives is also provided in the application, so that the cyclist can alert his relatives, for example by SMS, an incident.
- an alarm system via a remote control allows them to notify their parents in the event of an incident.
- This additional accessory is similar to, or integrated into, the remote control device of the turn signals to be fixed on the handlebar of the bicycle described above.
