Abstract

The present invention relates to a system devised for using different types of heat exchangers in products with heat pump, suitable to be used with products comprising at least one chassis (2), at least one hole (6) provided on the chassis (2), at least one heat exchanger provided in the chassis (2), at least one heat pump (3) and heat exchanger tubes (4) enabling connection between the heat exchanger and the heat pump (3), comprising an attachment (1) having at least one protrusion (1.1), at least one engagement structure (1.3) provided on the protrusions (1.1), and at least one gap (1.2) provided on the top portions of the protrusions (1.1) for placement of the heat exchanger tubes (4), and at least one heat exchanger cover (5) for fixing the heat exchanger tubes (4) by being placed on the recesses provided on the protrusions (1.1).

Description

    A SYSTEM ENABLING USING DIFFERENT TYPES OF HEAT EXCHANGERS IN PRODUCTS WITH HEAT PUMP
  • Technical Field
  • The present invention relates to an attachment enabling using different types of heat exchangers in products with heat pump, in general in household appliances.
  • Prior Art
  • A heat exchanger is a circuit component enabling heat transfer between two liquid or gaseous fluids with different temperatures without physical contact (without mixing each other).
  • Heat exchangers are divided into three types, namely tube heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers (removable type, welded type, semi-welded type, soldered type), and custom application heat exchangers (Platecoil heat exchangers, econ-coil heat exchangers, spiral heat exchangers).
  • An invention mentioned in a state of the art Chinese patent document no. CN102980298 relates to a water circulating type heat-pump water heater and heat-pump clothes drier combination device comprising a clothes drier main body and a water tank main body. In the invention, a heat pump compressor, a reverse valve and another reverse valve are arranged in the clothes drier condenser, and meanwhile, a check valve, an evaporator, a casing pipe heat exchanger and a circulating water pump are arranged on the exteriors of the clothes drier main body and the water tank main body. The water circulating type heat-pump water heater and heat-pump clothes drier combination device is convenient to use. A technology for simultaneously using the heat-pump compressor for combining the clothes drier main body and the water tank main body is practically realized.
  • The chassis acting as the bearer part used in the state of the art heat-pump products, comprises a portion to which the heat exchanger groups are assembled. The communication of the heat exchanger groups from this portion to the outer environment is provided by means of heat exchanger tubes. In addition, insulating materials are used to inhibit air flow around these heat exchanger tubes. The positions of these heat exchanger tubes are changed when using different types of heat exchangers. The chassis cannot comply with such conditions.
  • Brief Description of the Invention
  • The aim of the invention is to enable using different type heat exchangers in a single chassis.
  • Another aim of the invention is to enable chassis conformity with alternative components which may reduce energy consumption in products with heat pump.
  • A further aim of the invention is to allow assembly of different heat exchanger designs to a chassis by means of using modular attachments.
  • Detailed Description of the Invention
  • The attachment, heat exchanger cover and usage of the attachment and heat exchanger cover in products with heat pump realized to achieve the aims of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
  • Figure 1: is a view of the chassis, the attachment and the heat exchanger cover.
  • Figure 2: is another view of the attachment and the heat exchanger cover.
  • Figure 3: is a view of the heat exchanger tubes assembled by being passed through the gaps provided in the attachment.
  • Figure 4: is a view of the attachment.
  • The elements in the figures are numbered and the correspondence of these numbers are given hereinafter.

  • The present invention relates to a system devised for using different types of heat exchangers in products with heat pump, suitable to be used with products comprising
    • at least one chassis (2),
    • at least one hole (6) provided on the chassis (2),
    • at least one heat exchanger provided in the chassis (2),
    • at least one heat pump (3), and
    • heat exchanger tubes (4) enabling connection between the heat exchanger and the heat pump (3), characterized by
    • an attachment (1) comprising at least one protrusion (1.1), at least one engagement structure (1.3) provided on the protrusions (1.1), and at least one gap (1.2) provided on the top portions of the protrusions (1.1) for placement of the heat exchanger tubes (4), and at least one heat exchanger cover (5) for fixing the heat exchanger tubes (4) by being placed on the recesses provided on the protrusions (1.1).
  • In the invention, an attachment (1) is used to interconnect a heat pump (3) and heat exchanger tubes (4) in products with heat pump (3), enabling passage of the heat exchanger tubes (4) between a chassis (2) and a heat exchanger cover (5).
  • When a heat exchanger to be used in a product with a heat pump (3) requires to be replaced with a heat exchanger of a different type, the arrangement and the type of the heat exchanger tubes (4) are also changed. In such as case, different types of attachments (1) can be used. Using different types of attachments (1) enables assembling different types of heat exchangers to the chassis (2).
  • The heat exchanger tubes (4) are passed through the gaps (1.2) provided in an attachment (1). The gaps (1.2) are disposed on, preferably on the top portions of the protrusions (1.1) provided on the attachment (1). The recesses on the heat exchanger cover (5) are adapted for placement of the protrusions (1.1) provided on the attachment (1). When the heat exchanger cover (5) is joined to the chassis (2), a stationary structure forms by the attachment (1) being interposed. In this stationary structure, the heat exchanger tubes (4) passed through the gaps (1.2), are fixed by being compressed between the protrusions (1.1) and the recesses on the heat exchanger cover (5).
  • Different types of the attachment (1) may be used when it is desired to use different types of heat exchangers. A different type of heat exchanger can be assembled to the same chassis (2) and heat exchanger cover (5) only by using a different type of attachment (1).
  • The gaps (1.2) are provided not on all of the protrusions (1.1) disposed on the attachment (1), but only on the top portions of the protrusions (1.1) through which the heat exchanger tubes (4) are to be passed. The top portions of the protrusions (1.1) without a gap (1.2) are covered by the heat exchanger cover (5), and the attachment (1) is fixed to the system. When different heat exchangers are desired to be used, attachments (1) having gaps (1.2) on different protrusions (1.1) can be selected.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, an engagement structure (1.3) is provided on the attachment (1). The attachment (1) is assembled to the chassis (2) by engaging said engagement structure (1.3) to the holes (6) provided on the chassis (2).

Claims (2)

  1. A system suitable to be used with products comprising at least one chassis (2), at least one heat exchanger provided in the chassis (2), at least one heat pump (3) and heat exchanger tubes (4) enabling connection between the heat exchanger and the heat pump (3), comprising
    - an attachment (1) having at least one protrusion (1.1), and at least one gap (1.2) provided on the protrusions (1.1) for placement of the heat exchanger tubes (4), and at least one heat exchanger cover (5) for fixing the heat exchanger tubes (4) by being placed on the recesses provided on the protrusions (1.1).
  2. A system according to claim 1, comprising an attachment (1) on which an engagement structure (1.3) is provided for being engaged to the holes (6) on the chassis (2).
