Abstract

It has now been found that the reverse movement, namely the loosening of the at least one part, is more complex. This is due to the fact that with a certain water hardness the part adheres very firmly to the supporting metal part due to calcification. Keys for removing jet regulators or similar add-on parts are already known and are used, for example, to screw spout mouthpieces or other parts into fittings. What the previous solutions have in common is that a thread is always used to establish the connection with the fitting or the supporting part.

The invention is based on the object of simplifying the exchange of the at least one part.

According to the invention, the features of claim 1 are provided to achieve the stated object. In particular, it is proposed according to the invention when using the type described at the beginning that a receptacle on the key corresponding to the non-circular contour is placed on the part, that the key is pivoted about the axis of rotation, so that on the one hand the part is rotated into the released position and on the other hand, the recording engages behind the non-circular outer contour, and that the key with the part is withdrawn in the withdrawal direction. The advantage here is that a thread with which an axial movement for loosening the part is automatically generated when the part is rotated can be dispensed with.

Here, the at least one part of the sanitary attachment can either be combined with a further part to form the sanitary attachment, or the sanitary attachment can only consist of the at least one part. Figs. 1 and 2 show a key, designated as a whole by 1, with which part 2 of a sanitary attachment 3 can be removed from a sanitary fitting 25.

On an outer circumference of the carrier 4, a groove 26 is formed which is limited to a circumferential section. The carrier 4 is smooth on both sides of the groove 26. Three further grooves are formed on the carrier 4 offset by 90 °.

A locking lug 27 is formed on a locking tongue 22 on part 2. In the position of use, the locking lug 27 engages in the groove 26 and thus fixes the part 2 axially on the carrier 4. The locking lug 27 and the groove 26 are here positioned in relation to one another in such a way that they hook into one another as a latching connection 12 and also ensure greater loads, which can result, for example, from the working pressure in the sanitary fitting 25, hold. If the part 2 is rotated by 45 ° about an axis of rotation 7 which roughly coincides with a longitudinal axis of the sanitary attachment 3, the locking lugs 27 move out of the grooves 26 into a smooth area 28 (cf. Fig. 14 ), in which the part 2 can be pulled off in the axial direction. (The terms axial and radial and circumferential direction can be related to the axis of rotation 7, for example.) Here, the locking tongues 22 are bent open because the smooth area 28 is arranged on a larger radius than a groove base of the groove 26.

The position of the part 2 on the carrier 4 in which the locking lugs 27 hook into the groove 26 can be referred to as the fixed position 8 and is shown in FIG Figure 3 shown. The part 2 has a non-circular outer contour 5, which allows rotation by hand. Often, however, the part 2 sits so tightly on the carrier 4 that it cannot be released by hand.

To increase the torque, the key 1 is provided, which has a receptacle 11 which is placed on the part 2 in an attachment direction 19. Here the key 1 has a length by which a lever 21 is formed. A further receptacle 32 is also formed in the key 1, for example for unscrewing the carrier 4 or a conventional, screw-in sanitary attachment.

The receptacle 11 here has an inner contour 23 which fits onto the outer contour 5 of the part 2. In particular, the inner contour 23 follows the four bulges 30 on the part 2, which are provided as a handle for manual rotation.

In the attachment direction 19 behind the inner contour 23, tabs 29 are formed which form a widening 24 with respect to the inner contour 23. (In contrast, the further receptacle 32 has no undercuts and therefore no widening.)

On the outer circumference of part 2, an undercut 14 is formed on each bulge 30. The widening 24 is shaped to correspond to the undercut 14.

If the key 1 is now rotated or pivoted about the axis of rotation 7, the situation according to FIG Figures 8 to 10 . The outer contour 5 of the part 2 is engaged from behind by the inner contour 23 of the receptacle 11 at the undercuts 14 by means of the widening 24. This is possible because the inner contour 23 allows sufficient rotational play in relation to the outer contour 5.

A rotation stop 20, which now rests against the respective bulge 30, is formed on each of the tabs 29.

If the key 1 is turned further in the same direction of rotation, the part 2 moves with it about the axis of rotation 7. This continues until the released position 9 according to the Figures 11 to 13 is reached.

In this released position 9 the latching connection 12 is released because the latching lugs 27 are each in a smooth area 28 rest.

The part 2 can now be pulled off the carrier 4 by an axially aligned pulling movement in the pull-off direction 10. Since the receptacle 11 engages behind the part 2 as described, this withdrawal movement can be transferred from the key 1 to the part 2.
