The present invention relates to a childcare article of the sleeping article or sleeping cushion type for a baby and / or infant.

In the field of childcare and in particular articles for babies and infants, there is a quantity of articles to help the baby to fall asleep, to better digest and / or to find restful sleep.

We know for example a number of so-called breastfeeding cushions or breastfeeding tubes which generally include a peripheral bead intended to hold the baby in place, these cushions generally do not include means for keeping the baby in place, apart from the peripheral bead. There is also a cushion in the form of arms provided at each end of a hand and intended to simulate the wrapping in the arms. There are also simple cushions in the shape of a U-shaped roll intended to contain the child. These cushions generally do not include means for supporting the baby, which can generate risks of falling, especially if the baby is very restless. They are also often too big and do not fit in strollers and / or sag under the weight of the baby, resulting in a lack of support for the baby.

There is a shaped cushion which consists of a thick block of elastic foam, polyurethane type, defining a hollow for the body and a hollow for the legs, the two hollows being separated by a central bead to allow the legs to be brought back. in the fetal position. The cushion also includes a central body support band, intended to prevent the baby from falling off the cushion, but which does not prevent the baby from moving. The shape also allows a certain tilt of the head upwards to facilitate digestion and fall asleep. There are also swaddling blankets which completely contain the baby and especially prevent the arms from coming out, but also prevent the legs from moving and therefore are too constrained and also do not solve the problem of correct positioning of the newborn nor of difficult digestion.

The patent application WO2014125472A1 relates to a bedding for a premature baby comprising a mattress on which the baby rests and two elongated cushions of which a central part is attached to the mattress and the ends are free; so that the two attached areas of the cushions give the premature baby a feeling of security by the edges they constitute while the free ends of the cushions can be freely arranged around the baby. The mattress can be combined with a sheet that simply wraps the mattress ( figure 9 ). Such bedding is suitable in addition to an incubator or a bed by providing more comfort and safety for the maintenance of the baby. However, it is not designed to transmit heat.

Requirement WO2018014077 relates to a medical pouch for newborns comprising a base surface on which the newborn rests, a curved portion including a bottom for supporting the legs and two opposite free ends for supporting the head. In addition, side straps are provided to immobilize the newborn on the base. The purpose of such an assembly is to maintain the newborn in a position suitable for its proper development by reducing the stresses in particular on the column and the region of the head of the newborn.

The utility model CN202143691U relates to a bedding in particular for use in an incubator which comprises an ecliptical shaped mattress extending on one side by a headrest cushion and a protective rim comprising two ends which can be connected by laces.

The state of the art does not provide a satisfactory solution making it possible both to keep the baby warm and in a comfortable position, in particular to promote falling asleep.

The aim of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks.

An object of the present invention is to provide a childcare article for babies and / or infants which is compact, inexpensive, warm and effectively helps the baby to fall asleep and / or digestion.

One aim is in particular to provide a childcare article which is easily transportable and / or adaptable to different formats, bed, stroller, etc.

Another goal is for the baby to be kept warm effectively in place in the correct sleeping and digesting position.

Another goal is for the baby to be held in place without the risk of tipping over.

This or these aims are achieved according to the following claims.

The baby sleeping article according to the invention comprises a flexible base, preferably substantially inextensible, substantially to the dimensions of the baby to be received, this base being provided with a bead integral with said base and extending over at least part of the base. its periphery, the bead being provided with a free end capable of being folded over the baby's stomach.

According to one embodiment, the free end of the bead is provided with a ballast. Furthermore, the bead is suitable for serving as a support for the baby's head and / or legs.

As shown by figures 1 and 2 , the sleeping article is in the form of a kind of flexible cushion comprising a base 10 with a flexible bottom 11 serving as a reference and on which are fixed all the elements of the article 1 and in particular a peripheral bead 20, a swaddling swaddle 40, a blanket 50 and fastening links 13 able to cooperate with the blanket 50 as will be seen below.

As shown more particularly by figure 3 , the bottom 11 has a shape substantially in the shape of an oval or rectangle with rounded ends whose dimensions correspond to that of the baby, child to be received, in this case one can provide dimensions of 32cm x 22cm for a newborn of size mean. The blanket 50 is fixed at its upper end 51 for example by sewing at the bottom 11 of the base 10. This blanket 50 is made of a soft and warm material such as for example polar wool, merino wool, alpaca, organic cotton, hemp, linen , etc. This cover has a substantially rectangular shape, it can also be oval or other shape, the main thing being that it is of dimensions and in particular of sufficient length to cover both the bottom 11 and be able to be folded over the body. of the baby, as shown in the figure 9 , for example. According to one embodiment, the dimensions of the blanket are provided so as not to cover the face of the baby when it is folded down, for safety reasons.

The blanket is configured to thus cover the free parts 25, 26 of the bead in contact with the baby's body. These free parts thus well insulated from the outside can release the heat accumulated during the preliminary heating of the coil for a longer period of time.

Depending on the case, provision may be made for the cover to be fixed only at the lower end or in another part of the base. Provision can also be made for the cover to be fixed in a removable manner by buttons or press studs or the like.

This blanket 50 also comprises two openings 52 intended to cooperate with flexible links 13 fixed on each side of the bottom 11 by seams 13a and intended to allow the blanket 50 to be held in place on the baby once the latter is positioned on it. the cushion as we will see later.

The swaddling swaddle 40 has a very elongated and substantially rectangular shape, defining an approximately rectangular central part 41 intended to be fixed to the bottom 11 of the base by seams 41a, and two side parts 42 of slightly triangular shape, and tapered at their free ends 42a and extending on either side of the central part 41. This swaddle 40 may also be attached to the base in a removable manner by means of press studs or buttons.

The figures 7 , 8 , 9 and 1 illustrate the first mode of use of the sleeping article or cushion according to the invention.

First of all, the strand 30 is extracted from the bead 20 through the opening 21. It is brought to the desired temperature, for example between 40 and 43 ° C., by placing in a microwave oven. It is then replaced inside the bead 20 and the opening 21 thereof closed. The baby is then positioned on the sleeping article 1 so that his head rests on the upper end of the bead 20 and his feet on the lower end of said bead 20 as shown in figures 7 and 8 . Then the baby is swaddled using the diaper 40. To do this, the ends 42 of the diaper are folded over the upper body of the baby, they are then passed under the legs then ironed over and finally tied with a knot 43 in order to to ensure a comfortable and secure swaddling of the baby.

The free end 25 of the cuff is then folded over the baby's stomach as shown in figure 8 in order to guarantee the good digestion of the baby. Finally, the blanket 50 is also folded over the baby so as to keep the latter warm. As shown in figure 8 , the ends of the ties 13 are first introduced into the openings 52 of the blanket and, and once it is in place on the baby, they are tied in a knot 53, to achieve the result shown in figure 1 .

In the end, thanks to the combination of the swaddling swaddle 40 and the pad 20, the baby is kept in a fetal position with the head slightly raised and the legs grouped together, he is kept warm in this position thanks to the diffused heat. by the rod 30 filled with heating seeds and gradually releasing their heat, as well as by the cover 50 which remains in place and does not risk slipping thanks to the retaining links 13. Finally, the baby is securely held on the cushion by the swaddling diaper. It will also be noted that the flat, low structure of the bottom 11 associated with the peripheral bead 20 avoids any risk of the baby tipping over, unlike the thick cushions described above.

The figures 10 to 20 illustrate a second embodiment of a coating article according to the invention.

On the figures 10 and 11 , the article comprises a base 10 comprising a bottom 11 as well as a bead 20 which is fixed on the upper part 11d of the bottom and on the side parts 11b so as to free two free ends 25, 26. According to a possible aspect illustrated in figures 12 and 13 , the sleeping article comprises a cover 50 connected to the bottom 11 and partly forming the flexible base 10. The figures 14 to 18 presents a swaddling swaddle 40 forming part of the sleeping article. The swaddling swaddle 40 has a shape elongated towards the ends in a transverse direction T. The diaper may comprise at least two arm passage holes 45, 46 which are distant and substantially aligned in the transverse direction T. The distance between the holes is of the order of approximately 10 to 20 cm. Finally, a passage 47 is provided remote from the holes in a longitudinal direction L. Preferably, this passage 47 is distant from the second hole 46 by a distance of the order of approximately 5 to 10 cm. This passage is thus configured to form a loop for one of the ends 43, 44 of said diaper.

The swaddling linen thus produced has the advantage of being able to take two possible swaddling configurations; one represented at figures 15 and 16 for swaddling the baby's arms; the other represented in figures 17 and 18 for the free passage of the arms. Thus in the configuration of the figure 15 , the diaper is positioned relative to the baby so that the passage of the passer is above the holes for the passage of the arms and the passage arms are located below the hands of the baby. The figure 19 shows the sleeping item when the blanket is in the open position; the removable connection means (zipper 55) being detached. This position can be adopted if the ambient temperature is high, especially in summer, if the room in which the baby is located is overheated and / or if the baby's state of health requires it. The removable diaper 43 can be added as needed.

Claims (21)

1. A bedding article for a baby comprising a soft base (10), with dimensions substantially corresponding to the dimensions of the baby to be received, this base (10) comprising a bottom (11) and an edge roll (20) secured to the bottom (11) and extending over at least part of the periphery of the base (10), the edge roll (20) being provided with at least one free end (25) able to be folded over the stomach of the baby, said bedding article for a baby including a cover (50) connected to at least one end of the base (10) covering at least said free end (25) of the edge roll (20), the edge roll (20) contains a tubular insert (30) configured to be heated so as to accumulate heat and to next emit it gradually, characterized in that it includes a cloth (40) for swaddling the baby in the central position or independent from the soft base (10), the swaddling cloth (40) has an elongated shape and the width of which becomes smaller toward the ends (42) in a transverse direction; said cloth (40) comprising two distant holes (45, 46) for the passage of baby's arms substantially aligned in the transverse direction and a passage (47) distant from the holes (45, 46) in a longitudinal direction and configured to form a loop for one of the ends (43, 44) of said cloth (40).
2. The bedding article for a baby according to claim 1, characterized in that the free end (25) of the edge roll is ballasted.
3. The bedding article according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the heating insert (30) is removable.
4. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the heating insert extends in the free end (25) of the edge roll.
5. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the tubular insert (30) has a shape complementary to the edge roll (20) and is contained in an enclosure of the tubular insert (20).
6. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tubular insert (30) is subdivided into tubular insert portions (32).
7. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tubular insert is a dry heating pad or a hot water bottle.

The bedding article for a baby according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the heating insert (30) contains heating elements configured to store heat and gradually emit this heat; these elements being organic, preferably chosen from grains of linen, grains of rice, barley, wheat, lentils, grape seeds, peas, lupine seeds, chickpeas, fruit cores, dried plants, sugarcane, other dried vegetables, other cereal grains, or inorganic, preferably chosen from beads or small pieces of clay, silicone, plastic, ceramic, glass, sand and any combinations thereof.
9. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the edge roll (20) is provided over its entire length with a closable opening (21).
10. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cover (50) is positioned at one end of the base (10) or forms a bag connected to the base.
11. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cover (50) includes two openings (52) able to cooperate with soft ties (13) coming from the base (10).

The bedding article for a baby according to claim 1 to 11, characterized in that the cover (50) comprises a foldable lower edge (57) and first fastening means arranged on or near said edge cooperating with a series of complementary fastening means arranged on a bottom of said cover on the side opposite the soft base (10) and at different distances from said edge so as to allow an adjustment of the volume of the cover.
13. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the edge roll (20) comprises a second free end (26) that is dimensioned to be able to be folded over on the base to serve as a booster for the legs of the baby.
14. The bedding article for a baby according to claim 13, characterized in that the heating insert extends in the second free end (26).
15. The bedding article for a baby according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that the second free end (26) comprises a detachable fastening means for fastening it on the bottom (11) removably in the folded over position on the base.
16. The bedding article for a baby according to claim 13, 14 or 15, characterized in that the cover (50) is configured to receive said second free end (26) of the edge roll (20) in the folded over position of said second free end (26).

The bedding article for a baby according to any one of claims 13 to 16, characterized in that the second free end (26) comprises at least a first removable connection means and the flexible base comprises a series of second removable connection means (14, 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d) that are complementary to the first means; the second means being distributed on one side of the bottom (11) of the flexible base (10) and at a distance from one another so as to make it possible to adjust the height of the fastener of the free end (26) on the soft base (10) as a function of the size of the baby.
18. The bedding article for a baby according to any one of claims 13 to 17, characterized in that the edge roll (20) is fastened on the upper part (11d) and on the side parts (11b) of the bottom (11) so as to release two free ends (25, 26).

The bedding article for a baby according to any one of claims 13 to 18, characterized in that the at least one of the two free ends comprises a detachable fastening means complementary to at least one connection means of the bottom (11) in order to fasten the free end under the legs of the baby to be used to raise the legs of the baby.
20. The article according to any one of claims 13 to 19, characterized in that the cover (50) is configured to completely cover the second free end (26) in the folded over position.
21. The article according to claim 20, characterized in that the cover comprises at least one front covering layer connected to the base (10) that can be folded over the free ends (25, 26).
