Description

The present invention relates to a gas burner arrangement for a domestic cooking appliance and a domestic cooking appliance with such a gas burner arrangement.

Gas burners for household cooking appliances mostly comprise a burner base in which a mixing chamber can be provided, a nozzle holder which has a gas nozzle for injecting fuel gas into the mixing chamber, and a burner cover placed on the burner base which can have mixture outlet openings. When the fuel gas is injected into the mixing chamber, primary air is sucked in laterally between the gas nozzle and an inflow edge of the mixing chamber and mixed with the fuel gas. The fuel gas / primary air mixture formed in this way is fed to a mixture distribution chamber provided between the lower burner part and the burner cover and is distributed uniformly to the mixture outlet openings by this for flame formation. The primary air is usually supplied to the mixing chamber from below a hob plate on which the gas burner is mounted.

US 2006/051718 A1 shows generic gas burner with a first flame circle and a second flame circle. Accordingly, a gas burner arrangement for a domestic cooking appliance is proposed. The gas burner arrangement comprises a gas burner and a hob plate on which the gas burner is mounted, the gas burner having a first mixing chamber for mixing fuel gas with primary air, a second mixing chamber separate from the first mixing chamber for mixing fuel gas with primary air, at least one first primary air opening for supply the primary air to the first mixing chamber and at least one second primary air opening for supplying the primary air to the second mixing chamber, the at least one first primary air opening below and the at least one second Primary air opening is arranged above the hob plate, wherein the gas burner comprises a nozzle holder and a burner lower part, wherein the hob plate is arranged between the nozzle holder and the burner lower part, and wherein the at least one second primary air opening is passed through the burner lower part.

Because the second primary air opening is arranged above and not below the hob plate, primary air can be sucked in from above the hob plate. This can prevent the burner flame from going out in minimum fire mode in the event of pressure surges in an interior of a domestic cooking appliance with such a gas burner arrangement.

The fact that the first mixing chamber is separate from the second mixing chamber is to be understood as meaning that preferably no fluid connection is provided between the first mixing chamber and the second mixing chamber. The first mixing chamber and the second mixing chamber are, however, arranged in particular in a common burner housing of the gas burner. The hob plate comprises a front side and a rear side facing away from the front side. With regard to a direction of gravity, the front side is arranged above the rear side. The first primary air opening is set up to suck in the primary air from an interior of the household appliance. In contrast to this, the second primary air opening is set up to draw in the primary air not from the interior but from the surroundings of the domestic cooking appliance. The hob plate can, for example, be a steel plate, in particular a sheet steel, a glass ceramic plate or a plate made of tempered glass. The gas burner arrangement can comprise a multiplicity of gas burners. The gas burner preferably comprises a first flame circuit to which the first mixing chamber is assigned and a second flame circuit to which the second mixing chamber is assigned. The gas burner can therefore also be referred to as a two-circuit gas burner.

According to one embodiment, the first mixing chamber and the second mixing chamber extend through the hob plate.

The hob plate can have an opening through which the gas burner is passed. The gas burner is in particular attached to the opening.

The gas burner comprises a nozzle holder and a burner lower part, the hob plate being arranged between the nozzle holder and the burner lower part.

For example, the hob plate is clamped between the nozzle holder and the lower burner part. The nozzle holder can be screwed to the lower part of the burner, for example. The nozzle holder is in particular arranged below the hob plate and the lower burner part is arranged above the hob plate.

According to a further embodiment, the first mixing chamber and the second mixing chamber are provided in the lower burner part.

The lower part of the burner is, in particular, made in one piece. The lower burner part can be, for example, a die-cast aluminum component or a die-cast magnesium component. The lower burner part comprises a disk-shaped base section from which a first conical or cylindrical wall assigned to the first mixing chamber and a second conical or cylindrical wall assigned to the second mixing chamber extend. The first mixing chamber is in particular provided in the middle of the lower burner part. The second mixing chamber can be positioned off-center. In particular, the first mixing chamber is constructed to be rotationally symmetrical to an axis of symmetry of the gas burner.

According to a further embodiment, a first gas nozzle for injecting the fuel gas into the first mixing chamber and a second gas nozzle for injecting the fuel gas into the second mixing chamber are accommodated in the nozzle holder.

The first gas nozzle and the second gas nozzle are assigned to the nozzle holder. For example, the gas nozzles are screwed into the nozzle holder. For this purpose, corresponding bores can be provided in the nozzle holder, with the aid of which the fuel gas can also be supplied to the gas nozzles.

According to a further embodiment, the first gas nozzle is arranged at a distance from an inflow edge of the first mixing chamber and the second gas nozzle is arranged at a distance from an inflow edge of the second mixing chamber.

That is, the first gas nozzle is arranged outside the first mixing chamber and the second gas nozzle is arranged outside the second mixing chamber.

According to a further embodiment, the nozzle holder comprises a cup-shaped nozzle receiving section in which the second gas nozzle is received.

In the present case, “cup-shaped” is to be understood as meaning that the nozzle receiving section has a base and a wall running around the base. The wall is closed. This means that the wall has no openings or holes. An upper edge of the wall can be part of a support surface of the nozzle holder. The nozzle holder rests with the support surface on the back of the hob plate. A bore into which the second gas nozzle is screwed can be provided in the bottom of the nozzle receiving section.

According to a further embodiment, the second mixing chamber is received at least in sections in the nozzle receiving section.

That is, the second mixing chamber protrudes into the nozzle receiving portion. A cavity enclosed by the nozzle receiving section breaks through the support surface of the nozzle holder. The cavity is in fluid connection with the second primary air supply opening via the opening provided in the hob plate.

According to a further embodiment, the at least one first primary air opening is passed through the nozzle holder.

Two first primary air openings are preferably provided, which laterally supply the primary air to the first gas nozzle. However, only a first primary air opening can also be provided.

The at least one second primary air opening is passed through the lower burner part.

In particular, the second primary air opening can be designed as a bore provided in a base section of the lower burner part. The number of second primary air openings is arbitrary. For example, five second primary air openings can be provided.

According to a further embodiment, the gas burner comprises a first mixture distribution chamber, which is in fluid communication with the first mixing chamber, and one of the first mixture distribution chamber separate second mixture distribution chamber, which is in fluid communication with the second mixing chamber.

The fact that the first mixture distribution chamber is separated from the second mixture distribution chamber is to be understood as meaning that preferably no fluid connection is provided between the first mixture distribution chamber and the second mixture distribution chamber. However, the mixture distribution chambers can also be connected to one another with the aid of an optional opening provided in an intermediate element of the gas burner.

According to a further embodiment, the gas burner comprises a burner cover and an intermediate element arranged between the burner cover and the lower burner part.

The burner cover and the intermediate element can also be designed as an aluminum die-cast component or as a magnesium die-cast component. The nozzle holder, the burner base, the intermediate element and the burner cover form a burner housing of the gas burner. The nozzle holder, the burner base, the intermediate element and the burner cover are separate components.

According to a further embodiment, the first mixture distribution chamber is arranged between the burner cover and the intermediate element and the second mixture distribution chamber is arranged between the intermediate element and the lower burner part.

That is to say, the intermediate element spatially and preferably also fluidically separates the first mixture distribution chamber from the second mixture distribution chamber.

According to a further embodiment, the intermediate element comprises a plurality of first mixture outlet openings assigned to the first mixture distribution chamber and a plurality of second mixture outlet openings assigned to the second mixture distribution chamber.

In particular, the first mixture distribution chamber is designed to distribute the fuel gas / primary air mixture evenly to the first mixture outlet openings, and the second mixture distribution chamber is designed to distribute the fuel gas / primary air mixture uniformly to the second mixture outlet openings. The mixture outlet openings are each arranged uniformly distributed around a circumference of the intermediate element. The number of the respective mixture outlet openings is arbitrary. The first mixture outlet openings can form a first flame circle of the gas burner, and the second mixture outlet openings can form a second flame circle of the gas burner.

Furthermore, a domestic cooking appliance, in particular a gas stove, with such a gas burner arrangement is proposed.

The domestic cooking appliance preferably has such a gas burner arrangement with a plurality of gas burners. A gas control valve or gas control valve can be assigned to each gas burner. The gas control valve can be configured to have a To regulate the fuel gas volume flow to the first gas nozzle and / or to the second gas nozzle continuously or in steps. Depending on the position of a control knob of the gas control valve, fuel gas can be supplied to either only the first gas nozzle, only the second gas nozzle or both gas nozzles at the same time. The gas control valve can also be a so-called step valve.

The household cooking appliance can be a free-standing appliance or a built-in appliance. The household appliance is preferably a household gas stove. For example, the household cooking appliance can have four gas burners. The gas control valve is clamped to a main gas line of the domestic cooking appliance and is fluidically connected to the gas burner assigned to it via two gas supply lines, namely one for the first gas nozzle and one for the second gas nozzle. Furthermore, an ignition device, which can be integrated into the gas control valve, and an ignition element arranged directly on the gas burner, for example a spark plug, can be assigned to each gas burner. Furthermore, each gas burner can also have a thermocouple for flame monitoring. The thermocouple is electrically connected to the gas control valve of the respective gas burner.

In particular, the nozzle receiving section 30 is formed in one piece with the base body 22. A second gas nozzle 31 is received in the nozzle receiving section 30. The fact that the nozzle receiving section 30 is cup-shaped is to be understood as having a base 32 and a closed wall 33 running around the base 32. The fact that the wall 33 is closed is to be understood as meaning that it has no openings or bores.

The nozzle receiving section 30 is open in the direction of the support surface 17 or in the direction of the rear side 13 of the hob plate 3. The nozzle receiving section 30 encloses a cavity 34 in which the gas nozzle 31 is received. The cavity 34 breaks through the support surface 17. That is to say, an upper edge 35 of the wall 33 is part of the support surface 17. A bore 36 is provided on the base 32, which pierces the base 32. The second gas nozzle 31 is received in the bore 36. For example, the second gas nozzle 31 is screwed into the bore 36. A gas supply line (not shown) for supplying fuel gas to the second gas nozzle 31 can be connected to the bore 36.

The first mixture outlet openings 49 are part of a first flame circle 50 of the gas burner 2.

On the underside, that is to say assigned to the lower burner part 7, the intermediate element 8 comprises a multiplicity of second mixture outlet openings 51. The first mixture distribution chamber 53 is in fluid communication with the first mixing chamber 39, and the second mixture distribution chamber 54 is in fluid communication with the second mixing chamber 42.

Die Zuführung des Brenngases B erfolgt dabei mit Hilfe der in der Fig. 8 gezeigten Bohrungen 24, 36.The functionality of the gas burner arrangement 11 or the gas burner 2 is explained below with reference to FIG Fig. 3 explained. As explained above, the gas burner 2 comprises a first flame circuit 50 and a second flame circuit 52. The first flame circuit 50 is assigned to a maximum fire operation of the gas burner 2, for example. The second flame circuit 52 can be suitable for a minimal fire operation of the gas burner 2. In particular, both flame circles 50, 52 can be operated in maximum fire mode. When the gas burner 2 is in operation, the first gas nozzle 23 and the second gas nozzle 31 are supplied with the fuel gas B. The fuel gas B is supplied with the aid of the Fig. 8 bores 24, 36 shown.

The fuel gas B flows out of the first gas nozzle 23 and into the first mixing chamber 39. The primary air P is sucked in laterally through the first primary air openings 27, 28 and flows into the first mixing chamber 39 via the inflow edge 41. The outflowing fuel gas B generates a Venturi effect which sucks in the primary air P from below the hob plate 3 from an interior I of the domestic cooking appliance 1. In the first mixing chamber 39, the fuel gas B is mixed with the primary air P to form a fuel gas / primary air mixture and supplied to the first mixture distribution chamber 53.

From the first mixture distribution chamber 53, the fuel gas / primary air mixture is evenly distributed to the first mixture outlet openings 49 and flows out of these into an area U of the gas burner arrangement 11. When secondary air is supplied, the primary air / fuel gas mixture burns to form a first burner flame.

Similarly, the fuel gas B flows out of the second gas nozzle 31 and into the second mixing chamber 42. Due to the inflowing fuel gas B, primary air P is sucked in from above the hob plate 3 through the second primary air openings 45 and supplied to the nozzle receiving section 30. The primary air P is then sucked in via the inflow edge 44 into the second mixing chamber 42, in which it mixes with the fuel gas B to form the fuel gas / primary air mixture. The fuel gas / primary air mixture is fed from the second mixing chamber 42 to the second mixture distribution chamber 54 and from there distributed to the second mixture outlet openings 51. The fuel gas / primary air mixture then flows out of the gas burner 2 and burns in the surroundings U with the formation of a second burner flame.

Because the second primary air openings 45 suck in the primary air P from above the hob plate 3, i.e. from the environment U, and not like the first primary air openings 27, 28 from below the hob plate 3 or from the interior I of the domestic cooking appliance 1, in particular in Minimal fire operation of the gas burner 2 reliably prevents the gas burner 2 from going out, for example due to pressure surges that can be caused by opening or closing the door 5.
