Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a generator for a wind turbine, comprising a generator stator having a mounting portion for mounting the generator stator to a machine carrier of the wind turbine, and a generator motor rotatably mounted relative to the generator stator about a generator axis.
  • Wind turbines of the type described above are used in wind turbines in various forms.
  • wind turbines have been established, in which the rotational movement of the rotor blade hub is coupled by means of a multi-stage transmission with the generator rotor of the generator, wherein the multi-stage transmission converts a translation of the predetermined rotor blade hub drive movement in a higher speed.

  • the main shaft transmits not only the drive torque of the wind turbine but also the loads and vibrations resulting from the wind, turbulence, dynamics and dead weight of the hub.
