The presence of the projecting part 3a over the entire lateral periphery of the crown, which forms a projecting annular part, thus makes it possible to freely rotate the crown around its longitudinal axis through 360 ° for each of the axial positions provided. In a sectional view along a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the crown, the projecting annular part 3a engaged in the recess 6a has a substantially rectangular profile at the edge of this recess ( fig.1D ).

On observe pour l'exemple de la figure 6A que le suiveur 3a est en contact avec les deux surfaces latérales de l'évidement 6a via respectivement le coin supérieur gauche et le coin inférieur droit de la partie en saillie du suiveur. En fonction du profil de l'évidement, la partie en saillie 3a peut avoir une épaisseur sensiblement égale à celle de la largeur de l'évidement 6a pour chacun des tronçons comme montré aux figures 1D, 2C et 3C. Dans ces variantes, les tronçons sont ainsi sensiblement rectilignes avec la perpendiculaire passant par le centre du tronçon interceptant l'axe central du boîtier. Préférentiellement, dans les zones de transition, les deux surfaces latérales de l'évidement s'écartent pour permettre le passage fluide du suiveur. Ainsi, se référant à la figure 6B, la came comporte un premier tronçon angulaire a1 délimité par les surfaces circulaires C1, C4 centrées sur l'axe central 1a. Dans ce premier tronçon angulaire, le suiveur 3a adopte une première position axiale. Ensuite, pour passer vers la deuxième position axiale délimitée par les surfaces circulaires C2, C5 centrées sur l'axe central 1a, le suiveur 3a passe par une zone de transition a2 délimitée par des portions rectilignes D1, D3 où l'écartement entre ces portions est supérieur à l'épaisseur du suiveur. Pour finir, le suiveur passe par une deuxième zone de transition angulaire a2 délimitée par les portions rectilignes D2, D4 avant de rejoindre le troisième tronçon angulaire a1 délimité par les surfaces circulaires C3, C6 centrées sur l'axe central 1a et déterminant la troisième position axiale.
