Abstract

An electronic system intended for use as an electronic storage space (1) for documentation (3) on a device (2) or a service. The system is intended for use by reading an NFC chip (5) fitted in the vicinity of the device (2) or physically attached to the device, resulting in that, on the mobile device (6), on the interface (8) of the mobile application (7), appear files, written documentation, photographs and any other relevant or object-related data of the electronic storage device (1) operating on the web, in at least two separate different user categories: only reading, i.e. a user category intended for checking, allowing reading of documentation (3), checking files and loading down necessary files, a user category allowing editing, in which the user registers by using a PIN code or by any similar means, allowing addition of notes, documentation, photographs, videos and other relevant information on the service or the device (2) and its operation.

Description

System for use as an electronic storage space for documentation
This invention relates to an electronic storage space for documentation relating to a device or a service .
Previously implemented solutions
For storing instructions for machines and devices and for reading and complementing service documents , paper versions of documents have been mainly used previously . The paper versions have been kept in folders placed in the vicinity of the device , for instance in a folder fitted on the wall . Examples of the most advanced methods have been the web sites maintained by housing companies , where common information on frequently used devices and machines has been collected . In many cases , the documents have been worn, misplaced or outdated. Since documentation provided on a web page often requires a password, it may thus be disregarded. The interface of web pages has not been designed for professional use . In their equipment, rescue services use a data matrix code allowing to check the age of the equipment and to maintain inventories . US authorities recommend the use of data matrix codes for monitoring small electrical appliances . The invention
The electronic system of the invention, which is intended for use as an electronic storage space 1 for documentation 3 on a device 2 or a service, is used by reading an NFC chip 5 fitted in the vicinity of the device or physically connected to the device , as a result of which files , written documentation 3 , photographs , and any other relevant or object-related information in the electronic storage space 1 operating on the web appear on the interface 8 of the mobile application 7 of the mobile device 6 in at least two separate user categories : only reading, i.e. a user category intended for checking, allowing only reading of documentation 3, checking files and loading down necessary files ,
a user category allowing editing, in which the user registers by using a PIN code or by any similar means , allowing addition of notes , documentatio , photographs , videos and other relevant information on the device and its operation.
Files , written documentation 3 , photographs , videos and other relevant information saved in the electronic storage device are stored on a cloud server or any other server . The contents of the electronic storage space can be edited through the maintenance interface . The rights of the user category entitled to editing comprise an order form for ordering services or products relating to a device . Should any spare parts be required during a service call for maintenance of the device , the spare parts can be ordered with the aid of the form ( Utility Model Protection 11521 ) . The user information of the NFC chip integrates address data allowing prompt delivery of the supplies .
Advantages of the invention The chief advantage of the invention is eliminating the need for paper manuals . Information can be easily and readily updated in the cloud service for instance during service of the device . By reading the NFC chip, anyone can consult the device documentation in the mobile application by using his/her mobile device . The NCF chip link can be directed for instance to an electronic virtual storage space included in the device service . Companies will get an electronic service involving marketing potential for their products and carrying also an NFC tag equipped with the company ' s identity. Applications of the invention
The duties of building inspectors include visits to building sites in order to supervise the installation of cranes before they are taken into use . In this case , the invention can be implemented by attaching an NFC chip to the crane, and when the NFC chip is read , an interface appears in the mobile device application for reporting and documentation of the inspection . This interface also shows previously com leted data on the crane technology, the inspection and similar official information required at inspections under law. The interface also makes it possible to upload photographs and videos in the service . A centralized service also enables the inspector to register personally, and then his data are retrieved completed beforehand on the interface . This feature allows for faster and more accurate inspection activities .
Detailed description with reference to the accompanying drawing
Fig. 1
A system intended for use as an electronic storage space 1 for documentation 3 on a device 2, which is used by reading an NFC chip 5 fitted in the vicinity of the device 2 , in this case on the wall next to a sliding door system 4. Files , written documentation , photographs and any other relevant or object- related information, which are stored in the electronic storage device 1 operating on the web , appear on the interface 8 of the mobile application 7 of the mobile device 6.
