  1. Plug (1) for mechanical and electrical connection to a corresponding mating plug, having a housing (2), a plug insert and a protective conductor bridge (3),
    wherein the housing (2) has at least one connecting region (9) for connection to the plug insert, and
    wherein the plug insert is retained on the at least one connecting region (9),
    wherein the connecting region (9) and the housing (2) are formed in one piece,
    wherein the protective conductor bridge (3) can be inserted into the housing (2), and
    wherein the protective conductor bridge (3) has at least one bracket (12) with at least one angled portion (14), wherein the bracket (12) is designed in the form of a shallow cuboid and is located in a single plane, wherein the plane of the angled portions (14) is arranged perpendicularly to the plane of the bracket (12), wherein the angled portions (14) each have a through-hole (13) ,
    wherein the at least one connecting region (9), for establishing a screw connection to the plug insert, has a through-hole which has an internal thread, wherein the through-hole of the connecting region (9) and the through-hole (13) of the angled portion (14) are oriented with circular symmetry and in alignment with one another,
